Yahoo! Mail now has Dropbox Built-in

What can we expect with this partnership?

1. Attach files from Dropbox, even larger than 25MB

2. Save attachments directly to your account

3. Skip the sign in when using Dropbox in Yahoo! Mail on any computer

To enable this feature, just login to your Yahoo! Mail and click Compose. Click the Attachment options and choose Dropbox. You’ll be asked to link your Dropbox account with Yahoo! Mail; just follow the simple procedure.

Once done, you can now attach files from your Dropbox account directly to Yahoo! Mail and save attachments directly to your Dropbox.

I always thought that only the laptops have huge number of bloatwares, but the Samsung S4 is no different. Some of the pre installed apps are okay like the Flipboard and Dropbox, but the rest, especially the games, are just useless and it’s an eyesore every time I see them on my app menu. Not to mention that they also take a large amount of RAM and memory.

To make it worse, most of these games are just Demo and once your time is up, you don’t have the option to uninstall them (unless if your phone is rooted).

So if you’re here to know how to get rid of these unwanted apps, here’s a very simple solution:

1. Just go to Settings – More – Application Manager

2. Choose the apps that you don’t like and click them.

3. Click the “Disable” button, ignore the warning and click “OK“.

Though this trick will not remove the app on your phone, it will hide them on your menu to make it look cleaner. If you change your mind and you want to use these apps again, just click Enable.

SelfControl – Lets you stay focused and avoid distractions

SelfControl is a free application for Mac that lets users block their own access to any websites that they find distracting, like Facebook, Twitter, or even mail servers. The app is very easy to use that even the newbies can use it without any problems!

To show you how easy it works, check out the simple tutorial below:

1. Download the app, unzip the file, and move the SelfControl application to your Applications folder.

2. Launch the application and you’ll be presented with a very minimalist window.

3. To start blocking those distracting websites, just hit the “Edit Blacklist” button then enter the websites you wish to block (i.e. facebook.com, twitter.com)

4. Once you’re finished adding the websites, it’s time to set the timer on how long you plan to block these sites. Depending on your mood, you can set the timer up to a maximum of 1 day (24 hours) which gives you more time to focus on your work and finish all your long list of tasks. If 1 day is not enough for you, then just repeat the process as you wish!

BUT WAIT! Before you hit the START button, I just want to let you know that once started, it can not be undone by the application, even if you delete the app, nor you restart your computer – you must wait for the timer to run out!

Download Self Control and enjoy a distraction-free life, just like the old times when there’s still no Internet.

Even before, I’m already familiar with Cometdocs as a free online file conversion tool but just recently, they decided to revamp the entire service and transformed it into a fully free document management web tool.

Cometdocs – Free online document manager

With this recent update, users will not be able to:

1. Transfer large files to others easily and effectively

Unregistered users can send a daily total of 100MB worth of files per IP and their transfer URLs are valid for a period of 24 hours while registered users can send up to100MB as well, but their transfer URLs are valid for three days. Additionally, registered users who want their transfer URLs to be valid indefinitely can store their documents with Cometdocs before transferring them.

2. Store files online

Registered users can store 1GB worth of any file types except for .exe format for free.

3. Share files with friends privately or publicly

Unregistered users get a sharing link for their uploaded file, which will be valid for a period of 24 hours. Registered users, however, can share their files indefinitely, since their files are part of their storage quota. Registered users have complete control over their sharing privacy options in this case as well.

4. Convert their files between 30 possible file formats

Ofcourse, Cometdocs still offers high quality document conversion with all vital aspects of the original document remaining preserved in the newly converted document. A full list of available conversions can be found here.

Launchpad Manager – Keep your Launchpad clutter free 

Launchpad Manager is a free app for Mac that lets you keep your Launchpad organized.  You can use it to easily delete, rearrange, group or ungroup any of your Launchpad icons or just simply arrange them in alphabetical order!

Here’s a screenshot of my Launchpad before using Launchpad Manager. If you’ll notice, there are a lot of extra applications that I don’t really intend to use often like the uninstaller, and the numerous Adobe and Microsoft applications.

Here’s how my Launchpad looks now after using Launchpad Manager. If you’ll notice, it looks cleaner and organize and all those unwanted icons were already gone.

Once you install Launchpad Manager, it will automatically create a shortcut in the System Preferences making it easier to use and find.

Upon launching the app, you’ll see the Launchpad Control where you can just check/uncheck the apps you want to appear in your Launchpad. Once you’re done choosing, just click the Apply button and the Launchpad will refresh in order to apply the changes.

If you want to organize your Launchpad icons and arrange them in alphabetical order, just click the “Sort all item A-Z” button.

Launchpad is definitely a great feature of Mac OS X and Launchpad Manager just makes it even better! Download Launchpad Manager for free or buy the PRO version to unlock more great features!

PIP Camera is a free Android and iOS app that helps you create a photo-in-photo effect that looks quite realistic. To use it, simply launch the app and choose the frame that you want to use. You can use either your front or rear-facing camera.

Surprisingly, the app has a lot of frames to choose from and all of them look really great! If with all these choices you are still not satisfied, you can go to library and download more effects.

Aside from the nice frames, PIP Camera also lets you add filters to your pictures to make it look more fascinating.

Once you’re done, you can easily share the pictures to your social networking accounts from within the app!

PIP Camera is created by Fotoable, the same company behind another popular photo app, FotoRus which also features Pic-in-Pic mode. With PIP, however, there are a slew of new effects, plus you can export your creation at 960px x 960px.
