Today, in the middle of working I got that sudden urge of eating Schokocrossies… really yummy chocolate crisp treat that they sell in Germany and probably the rest of the EU! So, as I was drooling thinking about them I remembered an easy receipt that my mom showed me once.

You only need 3 different ingredients:

200g (2 Bars) of Milk chocolate

100g (1 Bar) of Dark chocolate

Plain Cornflakes

First you want to break the Milk- and Dark chocolate in pieces and put it all together into a Pot. Then you put that Pot with the chocolate into a bigger Pot with hot water until the chocolate melts. Mix you chocolate awesomeness evenly and when it’s completely melted and mixed, take it out of the water Pot, add the cornflakes and mix it so that every cornflake is covered with chocolate. Place tea spoon amounts of the mixture onto a backing sheet covered with parchment paper and put it all in the fridge to cool off.

Take it out after half hour and enjoy J

Remember when I told you about the idea I had to decorate my Ponybrown Agenda? Well, here it is! I bought myself a cute stamp set from funnyman.com to stamp away my day. Alright, maybe not the whole day, but I have to say it’s pretty fun!

It took me a while to get used to it but after a few practice stamps I got it all under control. The only advice that I can give is to not put too much pressure on the Stamp, because it will smear.

I bought this item off of Etsy.com--I don’t know if you know it but it is kind of an ebay for artists! :D

Since Pictures speak louder than words…

It came in a cute little wooden box, perfect addition to your desk decoration.

This is how it looks like after a few trials. I am very happy with the outcome and I think it’s really adorable in my agenda. What do you think?

Recently I was surfing my favorite sites and found an interesting post on Lacosta’s blog. She had a new giveaway – it was her 3^rd already – and this time the prize was an A—gen—da??

So growing up in Germany I really never heard of that word and I was curious what that so called Agenda was, turns out that it is basically a cute time planner or homework book. As I read the post and saw those pictures I was immediately hooked on those cute little guys – since I am, like almost every German a total paperwork and organizer freak.

So I never had entered a giveaway like that and wasn’t sure if I should enter, but after a few minutes of hesitation I decided to give it a try since I just could not stop dreaming and drooling about it. What’s to lose anyway, right?

She had 4 different kinds of Agendas to give away.

1 Alice Diary

2 Ponybrown (Pink and Blue)

1 ChooChoo Planner (Jetoy) –for all of you crazy cat Ladies out there

First I wanted the Alice Diary but after looking closely at the pictures I eventually choose to go for the Ponybrown one in blue. After I entered the giveaway, days started to go by so slow and I was constantly annoying my husband with, What if I don’t win’s, OMG I hope I am going to win’s and I wonder who is going to win’s.

Unfortunately luck wasn’t on my side and I didn’t win, but after pounding for hours my husband finally asked me if he could buy it for me. Of course I didn’t say no to that!! What am I crazy? I started looking for it immediately and found it on ebay --it was pretty expensive (24$) OoO. I was kind of surprised that Lacosta gave away like 4 of them. She must have spent a fortune…

Since I was able to choose myself I ordered it in a nice brown--Ponybrown. After another month of painful waiting the Agenda finally arrived in the mail and here is what I got:

The box it came in, I couldn’t believe how cute and neat everything looked.

This is the actually book, it comes with a plastic cover so that you can keep it as nice as possible for as long as possible :P

It also came with a lot of stickers to decorate and organize it. The stickers are really adorable.

Did I mention that you can start this Agenda at anytime of the Year? That was another reason that made me fall in love with this Planner so much. It’s perfect , because I will start college in May and that’s when I want to start to use it. The only problem is that you will have to write the dates in the book yourself, but I already found the perfect Gadget for that. I will be writing about it once it arrives in the mail and I got to try it out.

I absolutely love it. When I opened the little box it came in, I got slapped in the face by its awesomeness. Do you catch yourself sometimes sniffing new books? I can’t really describe the feeling I get but it is really good. Just the weird faces of people standing around me, watching me grooving on my precious book kind of ruined my whole moment *sniff* The Ponybrown Agenda has so many cute details on all 192 pages and a lot of space to write every single one of your thoughts down.

Anyway, I already started to decorate it with the Stickers it came with, but I am far from done. I recently ordered some more Items that will help me Lara-ify my first Agenda and I am looking forward to sharing it with you.

3 Years of Happiness…

This week was Heidi’s 3^rd Birthday! Yay!!! ^.^

Right now, you might be thinking to yourself,

“Who the hell is Heidi?”

Heidi’s my lil’ girl, my hairy daughter.

She’s our puppy. We got Heidi in 2008, short before me and my husband got married, as a gift to our self to celebrate our wedding. She is a Border collie mix and had brought us a lotof fun and laughs. (She’s a real goofball)

But anyway... Since my husband and I had nothing better to do, we decided to throw her a little birthday party.

We started of wrapping her present that we got her. It was a squeaky toy with all together 16!!!!1 Squeakers and it was made to look like a hedgehog or something, I guess... O.o

Then we thought that the present wouldn’t be enough and we still had bananas in the house – I don’t know why but dogs looooove bananas- So we made her a Peanut butter – Banana cake.

Peanut Butter-Banana Dog Cake Recipe:

¼ Cup Peanut Butter - Without sugar (since when is it normal to have sugar in Peanut butter WTF?!?!)

1 Cup Mashed Bananas

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 Cup Flour

¼ Cup Vegetable Oil

1 tsp Vanilla

1/3 Cup Honey

1 Egg

Preheat you oven to 350 degrees F.

Now mix the flour and the baking soda together and slowly add the rest of the ingredients till your dough is completely blended.

Pour everything into a greased 8″ round cake pan and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

I "frosted" the cake with a thin layer of peaunut butter and laid slices of banana on it. We gave Heidi just half of the cake all together over two days.

Unfortunately Heidi was eating this cake like a maniac so I didn’t get any good pictures of her eating it.

3 years old… that would make her 21 years which is already 1 year older than me, they grow so fast =^.^=.

Oh and NO we didn’t try the cake.

Today is the day that I finally decided to start this (hopefully) awesome blog. I wanted to have my own blog for a while now but I never could seem to find the time – yeah right, more like I was too lazy – to ever make one…heh

Well here it is! My blog about almost everything possible! This will kind of be my diary of experiences and projects that I have planned for the future.

But first I should introduce myself right? Here we go… My name is Lara and I am a German girl that is never so sure what she wants in her life. Every day I find out about more things that I want to learn or that I want to have. This is why I made this blog to write down everything I do and show you all kinds of stuff maybe you’ll even be interested in. I am married to super-awesome man called Ray and I just moved with him to Florida, starting a brand new life.

So I am happy that you stopped by and I hope this will kinda entertain you! =^.^=
