Christopher Nolan’s next film, The Odyssey, is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX®film technology. The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX® film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.

The Odyssey stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o, with Zendaya and Charlize Theron.

The Odyssey is produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan for their company, Syncopy. The executive producer is Thomas Hayslip.

The Muppets transformation begins in the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Courtyard. Legendary Muppet tycoon and owner of The Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse, purchased G-Force Records and enlisted the help of his trusty nephew Scooter to run the place and completely transform the courtyard. A new psychedelic paint job gives the iconic red guitar marquee a groovy twist, and the piano motif at the base of the guitar will feature one gold key as a nod to a certain far-out band leader’s gold tooth.

Once inside the queue, VIP visitors will discover The Muppets house band, The Electric Mayhem, laying down new tracks inside the recording studio. In the control booth, a team of penguin audio engineers are hard at work while band manager Scooter tries to persuade the musicians to wrap up and get to their increasingly restless fans. Guests will be immersed in the story with the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter located inside the recording studio.

With help from Muppet Labs (and a very fast limo), guests will take a twisting, turning, and screamingly fun road trip across Hollywood to reach the concert in time. The iconic scenery and landmarks of Tinseltown will feature a Muppet twist while a soundtrack of iconic, rockin’ hits performed by Electric Mayhem keeps the adrenaline pumping.

To be eligible for induction, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. The Induction categories include the following:

• Musical Excellence Award: given to artists, musicians, songwriters and producers whose originality and influence have had a dramatic impact on music
• Ahmet Ertegun Award: non-performing industry professionals who have had a major influence on the creative development and growth of rock & roll and music that has impacted culture

The Inductees were announced live on ABC and Disney+  by Ryan Seacrest and 2022 Inductee Lionel Richie during the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame episode of “American Idol,” where the Top 11 American Idol finalists took on songs from legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees as America voted live for the Top 9. The episode is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.

The 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction will tape on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. The 2026 ceremony will then debut in December on ABC and Disney+. In 2027, the Induction Ceremony will return to Cleveland.

The lineup also includes college sports, featuring NCAA championships including men’s and women’s March Madness, plus college basketball regular season and conference tournaments, college football, College Football Playoff, and bowl games, as well as the Little League World Series, Savannah Bananas, and more. The expansion comes on the heels of the recently concluded NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, which streamed on Disney+ across Europe.

Disney+ subscribers will also have access to ESPN’s award-winning 30 for 30 documentary collection, a deep library of critically acclaimed films, along with select studio shows, including ESPN FC, ESPN’s global football news and information program.

This builds on our sports offering on Disney+ already available in Europe, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League, LALIGA in the UK and Ireland, and the Copa del Rey, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League and DFB Pokal in the Nordics. The offering will also feature KeSPA’s flagship events, including Esports Championships Asia Jinju 2026, and the 2026 LoL KeSPA Cup in APAC markets.

Halle Bailey (The Little Mermaid, The Color Purple) stars as Anna, a young woman who has abandoned her dreams of becoming a chef and is now drifting through her twenties with a series of bad choices. Following the success of last year’s 2025 LoL KeSPA CUP livestream, Disney+ announced the expansion of its collaboration with the Korea Esports Association (KeSPA) to bring additional livestreams of major esports competitions to audiences around the world. The expanded collaboration will include global live coverage of major flagship events including the Esports Champions Asia Jinju 2026, the 2026 LoL KeSPA CUP and the Korea national team send-off ceremony and LoL friendly matches before the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

The series’ theme song, a new take on the original “Sofia the First” series’ iconic theme song, which to date has 130 million audio and video streams globally and a viral presence with over 801 million UGC streams, along with the key art.

The “Sofia the First: Royal Magic” theme song was released April 3, followed by the full soundtrack on May 29 through Walt Disney Records.

It was also announced that Moana, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Aurora and Elena of Avalor will make special appearances throughout the series, offering guidance, wisdom and support when Sofia needs it the most.

This marks the first time that Moana will interact with Sofia. Many of the classic Disney Princesses appeared alongside Sofia in the original series. Auli‘i Cravalho reprises her role as Moana, joining the star-studded cast lineup, including Ariel Winter, who returns as the voice of Sofia.
