I was out for an hour at Port Stanley on my 7m Rebel. I was boosting and not taking it easy. I got flushed a couple of times in my 6/5/4 so I was getting tired and starting to make mistakes towards the end. It is time to pack it in when you start making mistakes. I didn't feel really cold, but I know I was colder than normal. Getting flushed really steals your energy. Each time it happens it gets a little harder to get the temperature back up. Whodathunk that you could be riding Erie in February???? Wanting to take advantage of the sunny and forecasted warmish temps (high of 6Cs), I hit up LB hoping that there would be at least one other brave fool (ie. Jan...where were u?) looking to score a sesh with the forecasted 15knts SW winds. Well, the winds blew more W than I'd like, and almost twice as much as the forecast (26=32knts) While the sun was warm, the air temps also didn't hover anywhere near 6Cs (more like 0C). HI I just changed my 4 line trainer handle kite to a bar kite, flies okay in the center of the wind window but not at the sides, where it seems not to take steering input. If i reach over the bar and pull on the steering leads it will eventually respond. The lines look as though the brake lines are fighting the input from the steering lines. This is a fixed bridle kite, a 5.3 m firebee rhombus. Any one with some ideas or input? thanks dave...

If yer JL has the right inserts i'd say go for it. I don't really think you're big enough to wreck a board like that. Just always make sure the screws are tight - i've seen loose ones destroy inserts. The RogueWaves are fairly different tho - Lee takes the time to reinforce everything on those boots boa...

Yea i got a 2010 Cult I use with 20m lines. The park. Is it the one in the ads section for $850?? Btw do you think I will break my Jimmy Lewis model 3 if I put boots on them? Two guys on kitescoop said they've seen JLs break under boots or in the cable park...but at the same time, there are many ppl riding Rogue Wave boards with boots no? i ride my 2012 6m Naish Park on the standard 20m lines now. i have a naish bar that came with 17m but haven't felt the need to use it. 10m is too short. they teach on the beach there with 10m lines and 4m kites. makes for too small a window. i know someone selling 2011 6/8m Parks. awesome kites when it's windy....
