We expect a lot of our local law enforcement. They are relied upon to handle a wide range of issues, and I have the utmost respect for what they do. This article doesn't spin their efforts in the most positive way, however.

So they found the knife sharpener, did they? Well. My fears are gone. The serial killer on the loose with his knife won't be so threatening with the blade being all dull. And with his dark clothing confiscated by the police, he won't blend into the night very well with his Hawaiian shirts and balloon pants. Lastly, what is a rogue killer supposed to do in his off time if he doesn't have books about crime to read? Crossword puzzles? Sudoku?

Job well done.

Happy Monday, folks.
