I saw you'd listed some of my books to give away. I'm delighted! If you want some more for free to give away, please email me and I'll see if I can send you a few more (perhaps different Shakespeare-related books).
Best.

Thanks for the daily videos from the ITS Festival. For those of us with students participating, but stuck at "home" it's great to hear and see your view of the Festival. They add depth and confirmation to our students' reports.

The feedback from the FIU auditioner was especially great. Something to come back to next year.

I'm learning to do writing in tiny bites - 7pp a day right now, line-editing through the ms. So far, it turns out that I can, in fact, edit while waiting in line at the grocery store. Curious to see if it still works like this on the rewrite or if that time will have to be more focused!

The vast majority of "undesirables" not only apply to theatre, but to me seem to be some of the best ones, in fact.

My answer possibly too formal, in the Kirby sense of form, but to write for the stage and only do just that will limit the possibilities for the playwright.

Hang lights, build sets, study and watch the designers, especially the costumieres. They solve tons of problems quickly and for a playwright that a "problem" can easily equate to a blockof any kind while writing.

A playwrights imagination needs to be informed with all aspects of theatre as an artistic and commercial medium. So get out there, act, build, design and do it again ... go get em !
