Scoop your jaw up from your desk. Last Wednesday Naeem Khan debuted his everything-under-$400 collection of frocks for HSN and everything sold out in 10 minutes flat. I wasn’t able to catch the show, but I wanted you to see the looks because they are so gorgeous and it’s hard to believe that it was all available at such amazing prices.

There are a few things still available on the website, a cardigan, a skirt, a sequin-laden blouse. Hopefully, they’ll have additional shipments before the holidays as it’s so appropriate for upcoming parties.

HSN has been doing an amazing job turning their image around. Once just a late-night snooze fest filled with collectible dolls and ridiculous kitchen gadgets, now it’s the go-to channel/website for designer labels at much more doable prices. They have Scoop co-founder Stefani Greenfield’s line Curations, Miss Tina by Tina Knowles, Lou Lou De La Falaise accessories, and Nate Berkus and Carlton Varney have home lines. Badgley Mischka will have a special debut November 17 with their new collection for the shopping channel.

The cascade necklace, $98

Madewell has new merch in and the cascade necklace is just the thing to turn an otherwise humble outfit into something special. Also, beginning November 12 and running through December 31, bring in a pair (or two) of your old jeans and donate them to Young Audiences, a nationwide arts charity program for kids. From now until the end of the year I’m going to post a few gift ideas a week. I’m always trying to find something new and gift-worthy and here’s my pick for today: bath and body goods from Henri Bendel. They opened a store at NorthPark Center a month ago and it’s been received incredibly well even though it’s much different from what you find in NY. HB in Dallas concentrates solely on their private line of giftable items.

Lip Glossary

They’ve got a little of everything from enamel and metal stackable bangle bracelets to scarves and handbags. For something more general, you can’t go wrong with the soaps, glosses, and body lotions, all of which has a nod to HB’s signature chocolate brown and white stripe.

Cartier at NorthPark Center threw one heck of bash earlier this week to honor The Dallas Opera alongside Joyce & Harvey Mitchell and Ellen & Donald Winspear. Not only did they have a party, but they brought in the Cartier Tradition Collection – some of the most gorgeous vintage pieces you’ve ever seen – which will be in store until November 21.

A few other things to take note of: The limited edition Trinity bracelet above is embedded with 100 tiny diamonds, one for each year Cartier has been in the US and the new chronograph comes in rose gold – i know, right – and is a new style in their Fine Watchmaking Collection.
