The Snipping Tool is a program that is part of Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Window 8.Windows Snipping Tool lets you take selections of your windows screen and allows you to save them as snips, or screen shots, on your computer and in desired format such as png , jpeg etc..

You can press "prtsn" key on your keyboard to take full screen capture of your window and then open paint and paste and then you can crop the required are with the help of paint. But snipping tool of windows is one step ahead and lets you take a screenshot of only the required area.

Microsoft takes on Google on privacy concern of Gmail. Microsoft has started a campaign "Scroogled" urging users all around the world to use Outlook instead of Google's Gmail. The campaign educates that Google goes through contents of all Gmail emails to sell and target ads.

Microsoft is using the poll results to bash Google that Gmail scans the content of personal emails in order to display better target ads.As per poll 88 percent of Americans disapprove of email service providers scanning the content of your personal emails in order to target ads, and 52 percent disapprove strongly , 89 percent of Americans agree that email service providers should not be allowed to scan the content of personal emails in order to target ads. Microsoft used those details as an opportunity to promote its own email service which scans email to filter spam or detect malware but says it does not scan email to target ads, Which looks very similar to Google Scanning Emails to target ads.

As stated by Chris Gaither, a spokesman for Google, said no humans read e-mail or account information in order to show ads or related information.“Advertising keeps Google and many of the websites and services Google offers free of charge,” Gaither wrote in an e- mail. “We work hard to make sure that ads are safe, unobtrusive and relevant.”

After logging in your Gmail Account. Just Click On This Link >> Set up 2-step verification

Now you will be taken to a new page which will have screen as shown in the screenshot on right side.

Click On Start Setup.

1. As you click on start setup you will be taken to a new page where you will be asked to enter your mobile number.

After entering your mobile number , click on Send .

2.You just have to enter the verification code you have received on your mobile.And click on verify.

3.In the next step you will be asked to trust this computer. Enable it only if the computer you are working is your personal computer.

4. In the last step You'll be asked for a code whenever you sign in using your account from an untrusted computer or device. If you lose your phone, you can always change it in account settings.Click on confirm.

You are done . Now you can be more assured of your Gmail Account privacy.

How Does Two Step Verification Works ?

One of my Friend activated Gmail two step verification and was not able to sign-in on his Android device.I think many of you might be facing the same problem on respective Android and iPhone devices.The Error Message looks like the screenshot below.

The problem is mobile and desktop apps aren't configured to accept a verification code. In such cases, user needs to sign in by entering another type of code which is an alternate to two step verification code and is called as Application Specific Password in place of their Google Account password.Yes , You have to enter this Application Specific Password in place of your Google Account Password.

Which applications typically require an application-specific password?

Any desktop or mobile application that doesn't prompt your users to enter a 2-step verification code at least once after they enroll in 2-step verification.
Common applications and devices that require an application-specific password include:

ActiveSync for Windows Mobile and iPhone
IMAP clients such as Thunderbird
Installed chat clients such as Google Talk and Adium

How To Get Application Specific Password For Google App ?

Just Follow the simple steps and you are done :

Sign in to your Gmail Account and Go to https://www.google.com/accounts .Then click on Security and scroll down to bottom of page till you reach Connected applications and sites And click Manage access as shown in screenshot below.

As you click on Manage Access you will be prompted to enter your password , this is done for extra security. Enter the password and sign in again and you are just two steps away from getting Application Specific Password for your Google App.

Enter the name of Application you wish to have Application Specific Password for you want.

You can write Gmail on my iPhone if you want to access Gmail App on your iPhone.(This Name is only for your convenience you can write anything you want).After entering the name just click on Generate Password.

Testers are expected to be good listeners as well as good presenters. A good software tester must have strong verbal and written communication skills. The test reports, plans/cases which testers made should be easy to read and comprehend.They must be good listeners, good speakers, good writers, good readers etc all at the same time. Communication skills of a good software tester includes his/her body language, their words, tone, writing styles, listening and attending others etc.

2. Domain Knowledge-

Testers should have the detailed knowledge about the software or application, whether they are not domain experts and this knowledge will help them to find such errors which a user can face while using the application. After testing the application/software, the tester should keep the domain in his/her mind while arranging the errors in order according to their priority. As the testers may be working in different domain, on different technologies so they should be aware of any challenges and complexities. And the tester which have this domain knowledge quality may also include a good user interface, able to differentiate between a trivial and critical issue and also the better understanding of issues as they are some pros of Domain Knowledge.

3. Desire to Learn-

Testers should have the brief knowledge regarding the latest technologies, tools & techniques and they can also use them during testing. As there are various tools and techniques for development as well as testing & every tool or technique has some positive and negative effects. Testers must be able to learn new technologies & can also use them while testing. Working with latest tools/techniques might be difficult for tester but they can get something new.

4. Technical Skills-

A good software tester must have strong Technical skills. They must have proper knowledge about the coding skills in order to understand the application, good communication with developers and write test automation. The technical skills also include high proficiency in tools like MS Office, testing tools etc. These skills can be obtained by practicing and proper training.

5. Analytical Skills-

A good software tester should have to be able to check out how to reproduce the errors because only finding errors are not sufficient. For better understanding and creating of good test reports, analytical skill will break the complex software system into smaller units. Testers should have to analyze the situation of user while using the software or application. Testing report is a SWOT i.e. 'Strength', 'Weakness', 'Opportunity' and 'Threat' analysis of Software.

6. Planning-

First of all testers should have to plan how to make the testing report. Testing should be in proper manner i.e. it should cover all the functionalists, requirements, features and critical aspects of business etc. The testing report should be made in an exact order i.e. according to the priority of the errors/bugs. For better judgement of testing report good planning is very necessary.

7. Integrity-

Testers find the errors in applications/software with an assurance that developers will absolutely fix them. The testing report should have to show the priorities of the errors i.e. the report should be in various levels according to their priority level.

8.Curiosity-

During testing or analyzing any software, the testers must know about various applications, various domains etc. As domain has its own specialty so testers must have the curiosity to understand the domain under testing. They should have an eagerness of understanding the complexity and expectations.

9: Think from Users Perspective-

Each and every product is developed and designed for customers. Customers may not be having all technical skills a tester is having, if you fail to keep this in mind you might miss important bugs.

10.Be a Good Judge of Your Product-

Last but not the least , you have to be a good judge of your product. Ask yourself questions weather the software meeting all the requirements it should be having. As now you are the judge and you have the powers to distinguish between right and wrong.Judge listens to all testers in team.

These are the must have skills every software tester should have in order to have a rocket growth in his carrier.For a starter its very important to start practicing above mentioned skills and within no time you can be a great software tester and companies will hire you with handsome salaries.
