Where to begin? John Cassavetes is awesome. Ben Gazzara is amazing. This is one of those films you should really study. For those that don't know, you can now get the original 1976 version (that was pulled from theaters after seven days) and the completely different 1978 version that you probably remember from your childhood, both in the Criterion Collection's John Cassavetes: Five Films box set.
