This action packed strategy based mobile game has all the features that you experienced in the earlier versions but some interesting additional features have been added in the n-gage 2.0 (2nd generation) version by its developer team 17. Worms world party is a turn based n-gage game with funny story line in which you have to pick a team and fight enemy teams. Up to 4 teams can be chosen and all of them will get equal share of turn to fight and eliminate enemy teams. To proceed to the next levels and destroy enemy worms you will be given 33 different types of weaponries and tools including some GPS navigation based weapons. Ammunition however are not same for all weapons; some comes with unlimited ammo and some with limited. Those weapons that have limited ammo are more powerful and do greater damage to enemy worms. While playing the game, crates (boxes) of random weapons are dropped from the sky from time to time. Collecting these crates will give a team new weapons or extra ammo for existing weapons. Like I said this smartphone game is a turn by turn based game, that means in each turn a team should kill or do as much damage as possible to enemy worms teams. Each turn is however limited to specific time like 20, 45, 60 seconds depending on the difficulty levels and/or different terrains. Within these time frame players can move and use one of the weapons to wipe out enemy teams. Worms die when they lose all their energy or when they drown in the murky depths. Winning team is the one that manages to destroy all enemy worms and survives with at least one worm. If there is no remaining worm left in the game then the match is declared as tie.

Worms World Party for nokia n-gage 2.0 smartphones has different game modes like quick game mode, custom game mode and n-gage arena or multiplayer mode. Quick game mode allows user to instantly battle against a AI enemy team in which landscape terrain, graphical theme and worms placement are randomly generated. In this particular mode, player will have access to all kind of weapons and tools except some rare ones like Donkey, Homing Pigeon, Old Woman and Ming Vase. The custom game mode allows users to create a game exactly how they want by customizing game settings like water levels, terrain graphics theme, level terrain, random objects, bridge probability, object probability, difficulty scheme, game settings and weapon settings. Single player mode can be played through either quick game or custom game mode where player can play against a number of AI teams in a battle for the next level.

Multiplayer mode of Worms World Party is what forced me to give this mobile game a 5 star rating. For me, there is no fun in playing a strategy game if you can’t play against human brain. This outstanding ngage game supports both Hot Seat Multiplayer and Online Multiplayer through N-Gage Arena, in both cases with up to four players maximum. You can either set up a game room urself to be the host or you can also chose to join a game created by someone else. From lobby chat in the n-gage arena, all players can chat with each other which I think is an excellent feature to create new friends.

Game controls of this n-gage game for nokia s60 3rd edition and 5th edition smartphones is really simple. Worm’s movement can be controlled with Nokia Navigation Keys. To Fire or Select Items you will need the Gaming Key A or Key 5, and to Jump or use Alternate Fire you will need Gaming Key B or Key 0. Pause the game or go to options with the nokia left selection key and get back to action with the right selection key. That’s all, can’t get much easier right? Total recall allows nokia handset users to record all or some calls depending on the call type selected by the user. For auto recording, users can chose between all, incoming, outgoing, manual and list.
