I recently had the honor of photographing Daniel’s Bar Mitzvah and cannot thank his family enough for allowing me the privilege to capture such precious memories of this special day. I photographed Daniel’s big brother, Jacob’s, bar mitzvah several years ago. The ceremony was performed by Rabbi Steven Engel at the Congregation of Reform Judaism. Later that evening everyone gathered at the Interlachen Country Club for quite the party! The kids had a tattoo artist, a photo booth, great food, games, and lots and lots of dancing! The fabulous entertainment was provided by J&R Productions. Happy Happy Birthday, Daniel!

I had the honor of photographing this gorgeous family for the first time recently. Gracie, their precious dog, was so good for me! I am not a pet photographer, but I love animals so much and it was such a joy to get to photograph such a cutie pie. Thank you again and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

I had the honor of photographing these three handsome young men recently; I have such an awesome job! These 3 brothers grew up in Hawaii so mom and dad thought a lush, tropical setting would be great for our shoot and Disney’s Polynesian Resort was absolutely perfection! The grounds are stunning and for a moment, you forget that you are in Florida. I had such a great time with this wonderful family. Thank you for spending some time with me and letting me capture some memories for you!

Oh how I love toddlers! This is one of my favorite ages to photograph. Baby Martin is 14 months and I had the honor of photographing him and his beautiful parents recently. Look at his eyes and cheeks, is he not the cutest?! This is such a fun age to capture, when they’re still a little wobbly and everything is new and exciting! And he will be welcoming a new baby sister OR brother in the fall, so what a wonderful time to capture some precious memories for this family. Here are a few of my favorites of the session. Enjoy!

My Child Photography Workshop with Harmon’s School of Photography was such a blast this weekend! Friday night we did a classroom session going over camera settings, how I shoot children, using natural light, etc. Then on Saturday morning we did a live photo shoot at The Peabody hotel with about 10 babies and kids and it was so much fun! I cannot thank all the attendees enough for coming! It was such a pleasure to meet each and every one of you. And also a huge thank you to the parents who allowed us to photograph their gorgeous children. And a huge shout out to The Lens Depot for graciously donating a bunch of Nikon and Canon lenses for all the attendees to try out and use during the workshop. Trying something other than their kit lens that came with the camera made a huge difference. The Lens Depot is a local business that rents camera bodies, lenses, flashes, etc, so if you are ever in need or just want to try out a different lens, they have local pickup and drop off availability.
