Much of the initial tracking was done at Scott’s studio in L.A.  Then bringing it back home, Alela decided to utilize some of our great local talent here in Nevada County. The sessions were highly productive and Scott is now in the middle of mixing. Alela plans to release her new album in February 2011. We recorded basics and overdubs in about two weeks, then Ted finished the remainder of the production work on the East coast.
