Oh my goodness. That sounds so wonderful. I’ve been dying to go on a winery too FOREVER. My Mom did Napa a couple years ago and raved about it!

My heart stopped because I read “banana island” and at a very quick glance the shrimp in the first picture looked like bananas and I thought, “NO WAY, bananas in a SOUP?”

Yay! Glad to hear your progress!

Oh man, a few years ago, I was on liquid foods for a few weeks cuz I had my tonsils taken out. And yeah, I couldn’t talk during that time too (~3 weeks). And I already know I talk a LOT. It was pretty painful for me to stay mostly at home cuz I knew if I went out with friends I’d be chit-chatting away. T_T I mostly chatted on the interwebz the whole time, hah

Monterey/Carmel would be fun too! :) I’ll have to ask you for a list. Have you gone tasting in Livermore? There’s a barrel tasting in a week or so! Still debating about whether to go or not. I would rather save money this month…

Sounds like you had a great time! I LOVE Russian River Valley!!! Let me know if you’re ever wanting to go for a tasting in Monterey/Carmel … I’ll tell you some really great places to go.
