Although I haven’t been active with blog updates, I have been lurking on my fave ladies’ blogs. By the way, thanks to miss Nu for pushing me to update my blog. Thanks girlfriend hehe =D

Ok so, what have I been up to you ask? Well, nothing that’s interesting and exciting. I have just been occupied with my little one, and watching a whole bunch of YouTube makeup tutorials and such. Yep it doesn’t sound much does it but I kind of like the break it gave me.

For this blog post I just want to share with you about the past weekend. Share some hauls and random bits.

So last Sunday the 6th was my baby daddy’s birthday. Woohoo! We ate at Todai for lunch. It was awesome! Me and him starved ourselves the night before just to have more room to indulge in. But what do you know, after one plate full of goodies my stomach couldn’t take anymore. Such a bummer. I even forgot to take pictures cause I was too excited about eating at that place for the first time. haha I’m such a dork. Anyway,I didn’t plan any surprise this time, I just gave him a card and gave him 100 bucks and said, “Dad I want you to pick your birthday gift/s this time around since I’ve always picked something out for you”. And what does he buy? A video game! LOL I’m not complaining it’s just that it amazes me every time he does that. And the rest he spent on snacks etc. His eldest sister bought him clothes from Macy’s because she has a reward card (I think that’s what it’s called) there and they had pretty good discounts. She saved $80 on everything such a good deal I say.

We live in Portland, OR and we’re known for our flowers. We are “The City of Roses” for something I guess hehe These were a few weeks ago. It’s sort of like our last look of the summer season lol The weather was changing at this point.

Yes I got extensions. I miss my long hair. =/ $46.99

The brush is a must have. It makes my hair look shiny and smooth. Also good for brushing your hair extensions. I don’t remember the price exactly but I believe it’s around 6 bucks.

These two are a perfect combination. I got a good deal on it too. Buy a base coat and get a free top coat. $4.95

AVON haul

One of my local malls has an AVON store. I never really knew about it until last Thursday we were cruising through different stores. And so I did a bit of damage. They had a sale going on so I splurged. O.O

This is a cream eye shadow in aquamarine. It’s not as pigmented as a paint pot but it works. $6.00

Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Facial Peel

This is my Holy Grail for skin care. It is amaaaaaaaaaaazing. Okay, one of my major skin dilemma is my uber large pores. I have tried a couple products that claim to tighten and make my pores smaller, but they just never ever worked for me. Until I found this! It is such a heaven sent. I have been using this for 2 weeks and I can testify that it really made my pores a lot smaller and almost invisible.

I apply this at night right after I cleanse my face with Loreal Face Wash. I keep it on my face for 15 minutes or longer ;D and wash it off. When applying this, it has little beads of mint that gives a tingling effect. It is so refreshing and you can feel that it’s working. Unlike other masks, when it dries it doesn’t feel tight on your skin to the point where you can’t even smile. But this you can laugh your heart out without a single ouch. So after washing my face and pat it dry, when I look into the mirror my face would have this instant glow. The very first night I used it I was like wow I never really knew how my face would look like without gigantic pores catching my attention. It seemed to have even out my skin tone. I think that’s what they mean by ‘facial peel.’ I then proceed to toning my face with Biore facial toner and moisturize with Olay moisturizer. This is a very promising product. My next buy would be their Eye serum. Thanks Soap & Glory! =D

Painful Hair Dye Experience

OMGoodness!! So 3 days ago I dyed my hair. I was going for a blondy orange look. I had a tight budget so I chose a hair dye that was on sale for 2 for 5 bucks at Fred Meyer. The other one is for my boyfriend and he chose a red/burgundy color. I asked my sister to do my hair and while she brushes on the dye I started feeling burns and it was just painful. It lasted for 10 minutes but I left dye on my hair for about 1 hour and 1/2. I was able to endure the pain because I just really wanted to get my hair re-colored and get it over with and not waste money. LOL I know it’s probably bad and not the healthiest but I was desperate. But I tell ya, I’m never buying any cheap branded hair dye again. >_<

Once upon a time there was a princess named Nu, who was so god damn beautiful. she had everything an ordinary girl could only dream of. she has the body, beauty, and brains. she’s an independent woman and needs no guy to complete her, although she has quite a few suitors. she had opened her life and shared her beauty escapades through what we call a “blog”. but there was something missing. What else could a princess ask for? well when another beauty blogger (that’s me = ] ) sensed her dilemma, she offered to help and hopefully cheer her up in replace of the inspiration she brings at no cost. the princess was willingly enough to make it possible. they worked together to achieve the fulfillment the princess deserves. after all the back and forth “email” convos, the princess was pleased. and as nice as the princess was, she insisted to give her helper a thank you present. and as humble as the helper was, she accepted because she felt the gratitude the princess showed her. The end.

i know that’s a rough ending, but some times it’s hard to end things. lol and so here is the package the lovely nu had sent me.

as a 20 year old mother, time has fast-forwarded and

brought me to living the responsibilities of a 30 year old

and older. this is hard for me. I am missing on the good

times the world can offer me. going out to bars, eating

sushi, shopping nonstop, traveling, and all things that a

single woman should be rewarding herself. i am limited to

doing those things because i have a child to worry and think

about now. there’s someone depending on me and needs my

attention day and night; all week.forever. i can’t just leave

my son to anyone, even if they’re willing, and go out and

have some fun. these were my worries at first. come on, i

was just ending my teenage years and really itching for

adulthood. but then again, yes I’m not a girl, not yet a

woman. I’m still in between. i can still have fun and be able

to take care of my son and give him his needs. i owe it to

myself. if I’m not happy, how can i have the energy to put up

with the hardships of motherhood? the key is balance. yes I

made a mistake for not waiting (and not using protection!

lol) but i believe that’s my fate. i just have to deal with it

now and move on. =D

I love my son. He means the world to me. i can’t imagine my

life without him anymore. <333

Ok. So on Thursday I went to IKEA knowing that I would buy a set of anordna organizers. Well, once I found them I saw that a few of them were on sale. So I was like "Heck Yes!" haha Seriously it was a good day for me. So I bought more than I had planned but it was such a pretty good deal I couldn't pass. So here it goes.

I had originally planned on getting this Anordna Lyx. I really wanted a black one though. =/

Well I received my packages from Eyeko a month or so ago. It took a good whole week to receive them which I think is a decent period of time considering they're located in the UK. Very Exciting. If I may also say, customer service is amazing. When I ordered from them during a promotional time, I had forgotten to put the promotion code. I went ahead and e-mailed customer service, and within hours they replied back telling me that they added the promotion code to my order. That saved me a whopping $11.00 yo!! HAHA

EYEKO NAIL POLISH

These polishes have larger bottle opening so for those who are on the clumsy side..BE CAREFUL! =D But besides that, let your creativity lead its way. OR keep it simple. ;D

Pretty Polish
This color is so cute it makes me want to bite my nails. LOL I like the baby pink color.
Punk Polish
HOT! You can make this a really hot pink by applying thicker coats or neon pink with lighter coats.
Pastel Polish
I have never worn this kind of color before. It's kind of like wearing a white colored polish. I think I like it. It has like this shimmery effects on the nails and it looks so much better in person.

Vamp Polish
I love black nail polish period. With this one, only 1 coat will do. But I did 2 coats coz I like the look of thick nails (?).

Red Nail Polish
Fire gorgeous. This is the type of color you wear for an intimate dinner. Smexy!

Disco Polish
The name speaks for itself. This polish is very flashy. Also, this screams MY FAVORITE! I love love love this color.

*I applied 2 coats for every color.

Now to sum everything up, this collection of polishes are a must have for Eyeko fans. This stuff is great and worth the money. Try them out yourself and have fun with the colors.

I hope Eyeko comes out with more colors though. I'm hoping for purple, gold, and blue!!

I actually ordered these on Friday the 13th on line but chose to pick it up in store. I ended up picking up my merchandise in two different places coz a few of the items were not available where I wanted to initially pick them up. But oh wells they're totally worth it! haha Yikes I'm pretty broke right now. I'm waiting for more of my on line purchases hehe MAKEUP is my anti drug.

OH yes more HUGE hauls on the wayyyy...I'm ecstatic!! wooohoooo!!!!

Oh goodie! Here's another attempt to blog. I've started a few blogs in the past but failed to update them a lot..I'm hoping this one should last as my life has gotten pretty interesting and will be a bit challenging since I am faced with a new role in my life. I am now a mother. My son was born January 14, 2009. Best day ever! I love him to death..but as I've said life is more challenging and so to keep sane I want to be able to journal the happenings in my life. Oh and I will also be blogging about my latest raves and wants since I still am a young adult.

Let's see well, right now I'm so into makeup. I love MAC cosmetics, although I've stopped buying since the neo sci fi collection and I only bought like one blush. hehe I'm totally looking forward to purchasing more makeup especially the Hello Kitty collection. I've seen videos on Youtube about the unveiling event. Totally jealous!! haha Yepperz!! I need a phone. I want the Samsung Tocco in coral pink but too expensive to buy it unlocked and the closest I can get to it is the Samsung Behold from T-mobile. Last thing I want is a macbook so that I can have my own laptop and not have to kick out my boyfriend from his pc. I guess that's it!! It's not like I can afford these stuff all at once.

I know I shouldn't be spending too much money and that I have a son to take care of. But I don't think I'm that bad. I am taking good care of him and he has everything he needs. I think I deserve a little something something. hehe
