My husband and I couldn't wait to receive and start using this stroller. We currently own the Free Wheeler single version, so we felt confident ordering the Free Wheeler Double. The product specifications states that the stroller supports 50 pounds per child.
When the stroller arrived, we quickly started putting it together. Our two year old immediately jumped in and wanted to go for a ride. My husband started pushing our two year old and four month old around the kitchen. I couldn't help but notice a HUGE problem right away. Our two year old's head was well over the steel frame of the seat back. It was resting, quite uncomfortably, at the base of his skull.
Our son's height is very average, not tall for his age at all, so this left us scratching our heads. Could the seat backs be raised? Nope. We turned and looked at our four month old. His head already reaches the very top of the seat back. If this stroller is designed for up to two 50 pound children, they must be very short and quite pudgy.
There was one other problem as well. Notice the really nice shoulder support pads sewn into the harness system? They are no longer a feature. This feature was important to us since our baby would need the extra support and padding. The packaging still displays this as an option as well.
I called the manufacturer of this stroller, Pacific Cycle, and spoke with Brenda regarding our findings. She was very unhelpful, rude, and pretty condescending. She stated that there had been a design change, and that we were out of luck with the shoulder harness. She also stated that all of their strollers, Schwinn, InStep...etc. have a standard 17.5 inch seat back. 17.5 inches? Is that a joke? They don't offer a stroller that has higher seats.
I measured the seat back on our year 2007 single model, and it measures a good 20 inches. A pretty significant difference. So, design changes have been made, but for the worse. The company is charging more, while saving money by cheapening their strollers. Bad move.
So now we are stuck trying to return the stroller, but nobody wants to claim responsibility for the problem. So, we are filing a report with American Express.
The good news? Yes, there is some. We found and purchased a GREAT stroller from REI. The staff at REI were all extremely helpful. We purchased a BOB Revolution Duallie Double Jogging stroller and we couldn't be happier. It is considerably more expensive but worth every penny. Our sons can actually use it for years to come. If you want a stroller for a child older than 6 months old, you will need to buy a BOB. Good Luck!!!

I have two strollers and this is by far the best one. The fabric is not as luxurious as the Bugaboo, but it is easy to fold and unfold and maneuvers beautifully. I have yet to go jogging in it but for hoping around town I stopped using the Bugaboo. Just way less hassle to lug it around.

I purchased the 'Bob' because of my pregnant daughter-in-law's wish to have one. She analyzed several strollers and decided this was one of the very best. It is easy to fold down and put in the car as well as easy to pop up for use. The only thing I don't like is that you have to buy every accessory--and it's amazing how many accessories one needs!

I bought this stroller for my second child and wish I would have invested in it sooner. It is a wonderful stroller that lasts until your child is 70 lbs! Both my 3 yr old and 5 yr old can ride in it. This stroller has it all and does it all. The best on the market. I have had Dreamer Design (Ditto), Kolocraft, and Schwinn jogging strollers. The front swivel wheel is wonderful. I would recommend this stroller to all my friends.

It is a very easy to push and maneuver. The only complaint so far is that the joint between the hadlebar and the frame of the stroller is a bit weak and tends to wobble. Other than that a very good stroller for the price.

I just got this stroller, it is much better than my 2 other tandem double strollers! It turns much easier, and also folds up nice and compact. Compact enough to fit in the trunk of my Neon! My twin boys love it and fit in it nicely, they like to be beside each other. I would recomend this stroller to anyone with two little kids!

I bought this stroller after my second child was born. I had the In-step single jogger before that. Now my kids are 3 and 5 years old and I am still using it. When the kids were younger, I could use it in most stores and malls. Not all though, because it is a wide stroller, but even for it's size it manenuvers very well. Now that they are older I use it just when I go running. Both of my kids are big for their age, but still within the weight limit. If this product has survived almost three years of my kids, it has to be well built. I don't know how the more expensive strollers are, but it's hard to believe they are better than this one...just more expensive. Great buy!!

If you are interested in a stroller that folds easily this is the one. Just pull up on the strap and you are good to go. It is also one of the lightest strollers I have seen. Overall this is a great stroller. Some additional features that are notable are: HUGE canopy, VERY easy quick release wheels, simple design, and smooth rolling action. I highly recommend this.

I spent months reading reviews and examining in person all the major brands of strollers in preparation for my daughter's birth. Now that she's six months old, I wanted to share my thoughts about the ol' City Mini.

First, we live on the third floor of a walk up apartment, so we were looking for a stroller that was easy to carry, and not super expensive. The easy fold-up action is as advertised, incredibly simple and easier than any other stroller out there. But, it still feels somewhat heavy, and it's basically impossible to carry the baby and the stroller at the same time, which we had hoped would be possible when we purchased it.

Second, it's a little flimsy. Not as bad as the Combi or lighter McClaren models, but a far cry from the Bugaboo. Within a couple of months the wheels started to squeak, and it's just not as solid as you'd like your baby's stroller to be. We were worried about how the seat sways back and forth and doesn't have a hard back, which is still an issue, but we bought a Snuzzler, which has helped a lot. Also, as other reviewers have pointed out, the seat is a little awkward, forcing our baby to sit at an angle, and even when it's up all the way, she's still not perfectly upright and tries to move forward more. For some reason the shoulder straps are also nearly incomprehensible to everyone in my family, and we've had trouble adjusting them.

Finally, the positive things: I think it looks pretty sleek, it's very maneuverable, it is relatively light, and the canopy is awesome, better than any other stroller.

So overall, if you're looking for a relatively affordable and light stroller, go for it, but for a longer term investment you might want to shell out the extra cash (...four times as much!?) for a Bugaboo. If I could go it over again, I might do that, and hope that the Bugaboo could survive the stairs going up to my apartment!

Bought the BJCM a couple months ago when my son was 3 months old. We didn't register for a stroller because I wanted to use the Snap N Go for awhile and see what features were important to me before I bought another stroller. I fully anticipated buying two strollers - one lightweight and one "standard" size, but with the BJCM I think I only need one stroller - it has the heart of a standard stroller with the design and versatility of an umbrella stroller. Assembly was a snap - pop the wheels on and it was really to go! The construction is GREAT - super lightweight, aluminum frame. The one-handed close was the deal-maker - absolutely PERFECT! The sun shade is HUGE. The wheels/shocks are great - perfect for walking in the neighborhood (this is where we use the stroller 90% of the time). Handle height is great - seems to accomodate both me and my husband. Basket is a little small, but functional and acceptable for such a lightweight stroller. We bought the snack tray and rain cover as add-ons - I'm a little upset these things don't come with the stroller - especially the snack tray. I really didn't want to spend more than $200 on a stroller, but I made the sacrifice because of all the other features. Overall, I'm very impressed with BJCM in the short time we've used it!

NOTE: I bought this stroller at a B&M store - got it home and the front wheel didn't lock. Called BJ and they said the locking front wheel was an "in-line running change" for the 2008 models. Strollers made before 4/25/08 DO NOT have the locking front wheel - there is no model# difference or anyway to know other than the manfacture date. So, I had to call the store where I purchased the stroller and exchange it for a newer 2008 model. I think it is a little unreasonable of BJ to make this type of change without any indication or notification to retailers or consumers - especially because the locking front wheel is such an important feature for three-wheel strollers.

Lets start with this: I am not a jogger. But I do have a bit of baby weight to lose. So I tried pushing my son around in our regular stroller. The terrain in our neighborhood is less than desirable and it was pure torture. So I decided I had to get a jogging stroller, but didn't want to spend 300 for it. I read umpteen review and landed on this one as the winner. It came today. My husband put it together quickly and easily (I could have done it too) I am sooo happy with this purchase. For the money it is great. It does the job. The clasp is a little tricky, and the shade is a little short, but overall its perfect for my needs! The key is the pivoting front wheel..I read many many reviews before I buy and I learned from other peoples mistakes. MY walk today was so much easier.

I received this stroller in less than a week with free shipping which was great and it took me less than 10 minutes to assemble it. However, when I put my 9 month old son in it to go for a stroll, I was so disappointed. The front wheel was loose AND wobbled which caused the parent tray and the child tray to make this annoying sound. I called "In Step" customer service and I was advised to take the fender off, tighten the nut under the fender and that should take of these problems. After doing so (it only took about 10 minutes total) I took my son out AGAIN for a walk/jog and it worked perfect!! The stroller feels so light when jogging and it is so comfortable that my son fell asleep even with bumps and turns. The stroller is very basic but for the price, it's a good deal. I do wish it had a see through piece on the canopy so I could see my son at all times but it's not a big deal. The basket underneath the seat is pretty large and both parent/child trays are perfect in size too. Overall, after fixing the tire problem, I really like this stroller.

the product does not turn right for a jogging stroller. very disappointed in the way it handles. It is very sturdy, but would not recommened it for jogging

Tike Tech represents to retailers that this stroller is 26 pounds. When I received it, I couldn't believe the beast I unpacked. Took both tots out twice in it, once to the beach and once on a neighborhood walk. The beach area was fairly flat, so not terrible to push, but the buckles were so cheap and difficult to adjust, that I gave up on buckling my tots in and relied on the safety bar instead. Found out soon that the safety bar is a major chore to remove, so couldn't let my children climb up themselves, though they tried to slide down and out under bar to get out but got stuck. The sunshades were so stiff that they continually detached from stroller frame when adjusting. Both tots complained of being uncomfortable in seats. My son said he wanted to use the yellow stroller next time instead (the Bob Duallie Ironman that we also have). On our second outing in the Trax360, we took a walk in neighborhood to the gym. I was shocked at how hard it was to push up one of the small hills nearby where we live (granted, we live in San Francisco). But I knew something was wrong, because my Ironman and my Phil & Teds is not the same chore on the same hill. Sure enough, I put the stroller on the scale, and it's a 40 pounder! It's advertised at 26 pounds, and that's over 10 pounds of unethical advertising discrepancy. I had also previously purchased for my first tot when a small baby, a Schwinn Everyday Stroller (made and distributed by Instep), that was also mis-advertised at 16 lbs, when in fact it was 28 lbs - wow! Very disappointed in ethics of company (the way they do this is by omitting the weight of the wheels and all removable accessories, and just provide weight of the stroller frame). At least I knew to get mine through Target, just in case, so was able to just return to local store (even though customer service complained about it looking "used"). Sorry, if it's defective, it's defective, and also it's not as advertised. For $400, I expect to get something I can use. Lately I've just been using the Phil & Teds Buggy to tote both tots around on my own. Didn't think they would like being tandem, but they love it. Avoid the Tike Tech brand.

As the owner of an independant baby gear and crib rental company I have the chance to try out alot of baby gear. I have had both the regular duoglider and the LX. The LX is a nicer quality, however it is quite heavy when loading in and out of the car. I don't seem to notice it feels heavier when walking with it. this is my second Graco stroller. I believe Graco to be a normally reputable brand overall, and purchasing from this seller was easy, fast and hassle free. the stroller arrived in original packaging and was easy to put together. it is still new and hasn't logged much usage yet, but so far no problems at all. now having said that, the last large Graco stoller I owned was a single stroller and the collapsing mechanism failed less than a year of ownership. it was a gift and therefore no receipt, and Graco would only entertain the possibility of a refund if I would ship the stoller back to them, which of course is an extremely pricey gamble especially considering I couldn't collapse it! None of this reflects on this buyer, however, and my experience was a good one. it was nice to be able to find exactly what I wanted online and have it shipped for free right to my doorstep.

We have an 8 month old and a 2 week old infant and after doing extensive research, we determined that this was the best stroller for us. We needed our 8 month old to be able to sit in front and the back seat to hold an infant carrier. We are very happy with the design and style of the stroller and their is a large basket underneath for storage. It meets all of our needs and was the most reasonably priced of the double strollers. Now, after using it on several different occasions, we can't imagine how you would get around easily with a side by side double stroller. It is also very easy to fold up and unfold.
