I am a student at turner and i have experienced some paranormal sightings. one night i was laying in bed and i looked up at the top of my locker and saw a man sitting up top. It looked like a male soldier in a fetal position. In the bathroom in my dorm(Harris Hall B-floor) i was leaving and i heard a little girl laughing.( no one was in there with me everyone left the dorm before me). There have been many deaths at the old military base...A few years ago a girl went to take a swim and died in the now closed pool.....A boy had a heart attack in front of the now gymnasium......In the beginners dorm(Reddick hall B-Floor-Not sure of the room number) A boy died of an over dose and every one in the room has had a feeling of someone touch them on the shoulder and have seen strange figures in corners and in the rooms next door or above can hear low soft knocks on walls in late hours of the night. In the night in every dorm you can hear boots on the ceiling or the floor ahead.

So, my home was built in 1896 on old native-american land. The home has been in the family since 1901 when it was bought along with the surrounding land.. The home was moved a half mile from it's original location in 1955 which is when the activity started. The first occurence happened in 1964 when the current residents experienced an orb of light that emerged from the wall, "flew" around the room, went through the wall to outside, then lit up the back yard as bright as if the sun were out, and disappeared. Sometime after this occurence, there was a murder either inside the home, or on the property with rumor that the body is still buried here somewhere. I can personally atest the hotel is haunted. I have stayed there several times and had paranormal expierences every time. None have been previously mentioned in other reports I have seen online.

I think the room I stayed in on the third floor, when I was there for business, use to be a maids room in the day. It was really small, but had a fireplace with a slate hearth. The room had so much static the TV kept making static noices and I could hardly hear the other party when I was making phone calls for all the static eletricity. The first couple of days were pretty quite, other than the static eletricity. On the third day I didn't have to get up early as I had the previous two days. I always have the front desk give me a wake-up call if I need to wake early, so I don't set the alarm clock. The third morning the alarm clock went off at 7:00am although it had not been set. She is likely a former teacher, but as yet has not been identified. We think that she is from the earliest days of the school by her dress and appearance.

The Green Lady is a middle-aged woman with auburn hair done up in a neat hairdo wearing a simple green satin dress. She is most often seen from classrooms passing by the doorways as she moves up and down the halls. Teachers working late have heard her banging in the walls and moving furniture around also.

It has a history of hauntings however the owners, a mother/daughter team just went public in 2009. There has a been a man haunting the place, shadows and a small boy. Michelle, the daughter/owner said her daughter has told her she was playing with the boy yet nobody was in the store at the time. Things have been rearranged, boxs stacked. A customer set her keys down on the counter when making a purchase, she reached for them and they were gone. No one has found them since. I had the opportunity to investigate the house one time in November 09. The team got evp's and a recording of a door slamming, which was one of the other things that happen from time to time. One of the invetgators digital camera went missing. It turned up in the upstairs part of the house. We found it when we went up there for the 1st time that night. Old Roswell Cemetery was originally the burial ground for the Mount Carmel Methodist Church, established in 1846. The church was a wooden structure and when it was expanded and moved, the burial ground opened to the public. It is still an active cemetery to this day. The church itself was situated on the highest point in the cemetery. In 1975, the name of the cemetery was changed to its current name. The earliest marked graves date to the 1840's.

This cemetery is the most active spot we have investigated, and is in fact the site of a portal. Phenomenon includes olfactory smells, touching, cold spots, phantom voices, et cetera. Allatoona was a town located in Bartow County. Built along Allatoona Creek, it was a gold mining area later in the first U.S. gold rush, which occurred in Georgia and North Carolina. Reaching its height in the 1840s, the Georgia Gold Rush continued into the 1850s even while the second gold rush was occurring in California. The Battle of Allatoona Pass took place here just after the fall of Atlanta in 1864. The town was destroyed in the late 1940s when the new Lake Allatoona flooded it, making the creek into its major southern arm.

The Rock City Gardens were first thought of by Frieda Carter in 1928. She then spent four years forging a path through the wilderness among the rock formations with only a string to mark her trail. In 1936 Garnet Carter began his famous barn roof advertising campaign and by the 1950’s Clark Byers had painted “See Rock City” on 900 barn roofs from Michigan to Texas.

Today Rock City Gardens has a variety of oddities like a hanging bridge, a 1,000-Ton Balanced Rock, a Mother Goose village, the Needle’s Eye, Fairyland Caverns and lots more including the Seven States Flag Court where you can see those seven states - Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

An old mansion (now a museum) located at the end of a road off the square in downtown Roswell. Supposedly a young girl (possibly a slave) fell down the well in the backyard and died. The chairs on the porch also have been reported to move frequently and the light in the attic has been on several times after hours. My girlfriend woke up for work and started to check the messages on her phone. She grabbed her cell phone from under her pillow then faced forward and sat up in bed. As she flipped open her cell phone she saw a partial silhouette in the doorway. It was brown-tan-grayish. She definetly said it was not black and too brown to be a smoke color. She said she could see through it slightly. It was a torso-head silhouette with no arms or anything below the waist. It would have been about 5`10" from the ground to the top of the "head". As soon as she saw it, it moved toward her quickly. It then came alongside the bed, about 12 feet from the doorway, and in her description it "ducked down", paused for about a second and then "leaped" over her and dissapated after it was past her and still above the other side of the bed. Lowndes and Brooks County meet along the Withlacoochee River, where an abandoned bridge stands--host to stories of star-crossed lovers, satanic worship and a cold-blooded murder.

The bridge, known as Spook Bridge, was not always such a scary place. According to Charles Arnold, electrical superintendent for Quitman, the bridge was probably built in the late teens or early %9120s. The Cunningham family owned the land, and the Blue Springs resort was located across the bridge at a train stop. The resort was a site that attracted tourists from all around Georgia, complete with Blue Hole, a natural spring, and cabins for the tourists to stay in.

Throughout the years, the bridge has been host to fun times as well as tragedy. According to Larry Cunningham, nephew of late land owner Walter Cunningham, a crash occurred on the bridge.

The house second from the end (with the end being closer to the dorms) is haunted by the spirit of a lady my friends and I call "Belle" because in her lifetime she was a traditional southern belle. These houses are also directly across the street from the Old Governer`s Mansion.

The story goes that Belle attended GCSU and was in the same class as Flannery O`Conner. Their mothers were close friends, but Belle disliked Flannery (I forget whether or not it was mutual). Belle is infamous for having many beaus throughout her time, though she eventually did settle down, get married, and move outside of Milledgeville.

When she was in her fifties her husband died and she moved back into her mother`s house in Milledgeville (the house that she now haunts). On May 3, 1977, the Daily Mirror published this story:

President Jimmy Carter has joined the ranks of UFO spotters. He sent in two written reports stating he had seen a flying saucer when he was the Governor of Georgia.

The President has shrugged off the incident since then, perhaps fearing that electors might be wary of a flying saucer freak.

But he was reported as saying after the "sighting": "I don`t laugh at people any more when they say they`ve seen UFOs because I`ve seen one myself."

Carter described his UFO like this: "Luminous, not solid, at first bluish, then reddish...it seemed to move towards us from a distance, stopped, then moved partially away."

Carter filed two reports on the sighting in 1973, one to the International UFO Bureau and the other to the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena.

Well, they don`t really give you a option of demonic, or evil or possesed so, I guess it`s haunted. The place I speak of used to belong to my family. An ancestor got several hundred acres of property from an old Cherokee chief for a pony. Kinda like getting Manhattan Island for a song huh? Well, the reason he picked it up so cheap, the old chief couldn`t hunt with the hunting party due to the fact that his wife refused to stay there in their home alone.

There were 3 houses that were initially affected. The "grandaddy house" as we affectionatley (yeah right) deemed it that sat about a football field or less up Cherry Grove Rd from Conn`s Creek Rd, then there was my great grandmother`s home that stood at the corner of Conns Crk and Cherry Grove Rd, and finally there was the house my grandmother and grandfather lived in the next lot to the east on Conn`s Crk. It had the least activity.
