Introducing firm foam pads! They change your stamping experience for the better.

We know you’re going to love these new Stampin’ Pads—just look at all the exciting benefits listed below:

  • Provide better ink coverage for your stamps!
  • Light-tap stamping produces flawless images!

In addition, our new Stampin’ Pads

  • Create wonderfully solid images. The Firm Foam releases more ink onto your rubber stamp than the felt pads. When using the Firm Foam pad, your stamp will get an even, solid covering of ink that you may not have been able to achieve with the felt pads. Please note: if you are using the ink pad frequently you may need to re-ink your Firm Foam pad more often.
  • Have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!
  • Come with color name labels in all four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German)–just choose your language, peel it off the back, and add it to the side of the pad for easy identification!
  • Use the same patented flip-top case design that stores the inking surface upside down, so the pad surface stays moist!
  • Are available in all colors, including our exclusive In Colors!


Please note: Five ink colors have undergone formula changes to improve functionality and color stability with the new firm foam pads. These colors are

  • Basic Black
  • Basic Gray
  • Marina Mist
  • Perfect Plum
  • Tempting Turquoise

All five colors of the reformulated inks have been fully tested and approved. While using the new ink formula in the old Stampin’ Pads is fine, we do not recommend using the old ink formula for these five colors in the new firm foam pads. Any refills purchased after April 30, 2012, will contain the new formulated ink.*

This first card uses the Penant Parade Stamp Set #122740 wood, #122742 clear mount). I’ve posted a few more ideas below.

SWAP DETAILS
  • Theme: Summertime
  • Make 5 Full Cards of the same design using a “Summer” Standard Card size is: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″, this is not a required size, just a guide.
  • Current Stampin’ Up! Materials: All supplies: including stamps, ink colors, papers, etc. should be current Stampin’ Up! products.Often we fall in love with a card we received in a swap and want to copy it. Swaps also help us think of new ways to use for our SU products we have. For these reasons the cards should have all current Stampin’ Up products.
    • IMPORTANT: Swaps should only contain stamps and accessories in the NEW Stampin’ Up catalog (no retiring/ed stamps, papers or accessories)
  • Cards must have a minimum 2 layers of card stock or designer paper. Most have more.
  • At least 1 embellishment (Ribbon, brads, etc) Most have more.
  • Please put your name and contact info on a sticky note on the back in case someone has questions, or uses your swap and wants to credit you. Recipes of the supplies/techniques you used are always welcome. Please don’t permanently stick labels to the actual card so we can use them.

    Mail to (or drop off) to Tami (address provided with registration confirmation).NOTE: This is not a postmark date, swaps should be in my hands on June 20. Such a beautiful set, and this card is so beautiful and elegant. The design came from my friend Linda Cullen. She made this for a mother’s day card, I switched up the words for a sympathy card (her photo came out sooo much nicer lol).

The flower is done on Vellum Card Stock, before stamping brayer the vellum in Wisteria Wonder. Flip and use the opposite side (not the inked side) stamp the flower in versamark, 3 times and heat emboss in white. Cut out and layer the flower on top of itself with dimensionals.

CATALOG CHANGES

In a nutshell, starting June 1, 2012, Stampin’ Up! will release one annual catalog, and two seasonal catalogs.

Annual Catalog

    • The annual catalog will run from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013.

Seasonal Catalogs

    • The Occasions, Summer, and Holiday Mini Catalogs will be replaced by two seasonal catalogs called the Holiday Catalog and the Spring Catalog.
      • The first Holiday Catalog will run from August 1, 2012. through the beginning of January, 2013
      • The first Spring Catalog will run from the beginning of January, 2013 through May 31, 2013.
    • The seasonal catalogs will be larger in both size (8 1/2″ x 11″) and page count (about 40 pages) than the current mini catalogs.
