One of my favorite tools is the Big Shot!  I especially enjoy our exclusive Embossing Folders.  The following card was made with our Finial Press Folder.  I simply cut my Eggplant card stock to my desired sized and placed it inside the folder.  Then, I insert it between cutting plates and place on the platform (both platform and cutting plates are included with the Big Shot) and roll them thru the Big Shot.  Presto! Instant texture!

One of my favorite stamp sets is the Fifth Avenue Floral.  At last Card of the Month class, we made this card.  First, I stamped the flowers in Versamark ink and embossed with White Embossing powder.  Then, I used the Versamarker pen to color the petals of the flower.  This a very subtle look to make the flowers appear darker than the background.  Then, we colored the center of the flowers using the Dusty Durango * Stampin' Write marker.  The greeting was stamped on white card stock and punched with the Wide Oval punch.  Then we punched out two (2) Scallop Circles and attached them behind the oval to frame the greeting.  The ribbon is Dusty Durango * also.

Summer just doesn't get any better than an ice cream cone.  You will enjoy stamping this card for someone sweet with the new Sweet Scoops stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalog. 

I cut the circles from the Circle # 2 die for the Big Shot machine.  I stamped the cone in Soft Suede ink and then stamped the scoop in pink on a scrap of white card stock.  After applying 2 way glue and glitter, I cut it out and adhered it to the cone with dimensionals.  I used Bermuda Bay * card stock and polka dot ribbon, too.  For the greeting, I stamped on a strip of White card stock and curled it using a bone folder so it rippled.  Then I attached it with mini glue dots.
