Books here are offered in English, French, German, Swedish, and Lao. The price of books range from 10,000 to 50,000 for novels and 80,000 to 100,000 for guidebooks. As well, there are books on Lao history, geography, travel, and culture. Buy a book, exchange a used one, or simply sell one. What’s more green than that?  The sign outside states that they are open 365 days a year; thus far they’ve lived up to their claim as we haven’t caught them being closed. Amazing dedication for a book shop!

This noodle restaurant opened in opened in early 2013 and serves up all sorts of noodle-y goodness in generous portions. The soups are as good as you can expect to taste in Laos, and you get to enjoy it in a climate controlled environment instead of sweating over a spicy noodle dish in a Night Market stall along the Mekong (though, we recommend you try both!).

Pho, kao piak and kao pun are the popular soups here, and you’ll have to decide between the thin or thick noodles. All in all, a great addition to the Inthira Group’s growing list of well managed places in Laos.
