Hey All,

As you know after each episode we post polls so that fans can vote and discuss the episode. We've decided that for our most popular shows to collate the poll ratings and to display the poll rating average for each episode so that you can can compare how readers rate episode.

We rate the episode by giving each rating a points system eg Awesome = 5, Great = 4, OK = 3, Poor = 2 and Awful = 1. We then work out the average rating.

We might extend this to more shows in the future if we find time.

We hope you enjoy this feature and we'll update it each week.

It’s week 24 and since it’s the time of many finales, today I’m changing the form of the article a bit. Let me in the comments what do you think about it.

The Scenes: Tommy’s death & Malcolm and Oliver fight
”That was so heartbreaking because Olivier knew Tommy was going to die and wished he died instead of his best friend.” Sylvie C
“I did not think they would kill him off, but I'm glad he died as a hero. This scene was so heartbreaking.” Jamie Coudeville
“The entire scene where the building collapses on Laurel to Tommy's death. I really loved how Tommy also came to Laurel's rescue. Laurel's piercing screams, urging her father to let her save Tommy, and then for someone to help Tommy. Oliver's reaction to seeing his "best friend in life" die in front of him and not being able to do anything about it was brilliant. I admit, it did make me cry.” Bradley Adams

“Though not my overall favorite scene of the episode, Castle's proposal to Beckett is the one I want to talk about because it’s the biggest game-changer in the history of the series. It opens up a brand new set of doors, but closes just as many. We will have to wait until the next season to see the repercussions from this, but I'm pretty confident Castle fans will be happy with the outcome.” Jimmy Ryan

“This is my honorable mention. To see Kiera falling apart like that was just incredibly sad. The way she says “I see him all the time” talking about her son and starts crying – very moving scene that definitely deserves to be mentioned here. Great performance by Rachel Nichols.” Justyna Kubica

The Scene: Blake and her husband reunion
“For the second week running I'm picking a scene from Criminal Minds. Last week it was JJ and her husband, this week it's Dr. Blake and her husband. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention if it was mentioned in previous episodes of Blake's marital status, but nevertheless, it was a really good opening scene of this week's episode where we saw Blake's husband arrive home for the first time in months.” Jimmy Ryan

DOCTOR WHO, “The Name Of The Doctor”, May 18, 2013, Actor: Jenna Louise Coleman, Matt Smith, Alex Kingston
The Scene: Clara in the Doctor’s timeline & Doctor says goodbye to River
“There are so many things I could say about this episode. It was stunning, very emotional and memorable. Feels like we’re already starting to celebrate 50th anniversary of the show here. And of course, there are many great scenes in the episode that I could mention in the article but I’ve decided to pick Clara falling apart into the million pieces in the Doctor’s timeline. It was both, incredibly crazy and brave, to sacrifice herself like that. She couldn’t have known what’s gonna happen with her exactly, still, she didn’t really hesitate to go through with this plan. She just went there and saved her friend (many, many times, apparently). And the most beautiful and very moving part of this scene is the fact that we can see her next to so many previous versions of the Doctor. I’m not one of the lucky ones who had a chance to watch the old series, but it still meant so much to me to see them all. Amazing way to start the celebration, not to mention the cliffhanger at the end.” Justyna Kubica

“While I enjoyed the Calzona scene it came in a very close 2nd. I give the edge to Dr. Miranda Bailey going incredible Hulk on that medicine cabinet! If there is anything to snap Bailey out of her funk it’s hearing one of her "children" is badly hurt. Bailey totally sprung into action. I also like that we know she is still timid and unsure because she doubles her gloves. Chandra Wilson was amazing once again in her portrayal of Bailey. Then when she has trouble telling Derek and Cristina about Mer’s condition it was icing on the cake.” Spartigus15

The Scene: Michael comes back to life
“What a wonderful job the entire cast and crew did in this episode! Headed by the always fantastic Maggie Q (easily one of my favorite performances this week… and this season to be honest). But everyone’s reactions when they are trying to save their friend’s life and Michael’s not waking up – perfect. The moment when they lose hope and start crying only to start laughing with tears in their eyes the second he finally comes back to life - priceless. I know, it’s such a miracle he did wake up. Probably not possible in the real life, but I don’t care about the logic here. I would not be able to stand it if Michael died. And I don’t think Nikita would survive that. It was such a heartbreaking scene but with the absolutely amazing ending, so it’s definitely one of my very favorites.” Justyna Kubica

“Scandal's finale on Thursday broke records on and off the screen, with more than 571,000 tweets shared during the finale, making it ABC's most social program. I wasn’t the author of any of them, however, because I was perched on the edge of my seat the entire time! There were numerous scenes I could choose from but I'm picking the closing scene, where we see Olivia Pope open a door to a swarm of media before being hustled into a limo, where the mystery man who has been seen conversing with Cyrus and Jake, among others, sits on the opposite seat, and Pope says the word "Dad." This is a typical Shonda Rhimes twist that took me completely by surprise, and will no doubt be a game-changer for the show. I can't wait to see what comes of this revelation next season.” Jimmy Ryan

The Scene: The ending sequence (Dean and Sam talk & “Angels are falling”)
“I want to talk about the entire ending scene here, from the moment Sam talks about his confession to the very last second of the episode. It was absolutely brilliant. First, poor boys! It’s hard to believe that after all this time Sam still wasn’t sure that his brother would always choose him, no matter what. I mean, of course, there were some trust issues between them, it’s not so easy to forget what happened in season 4, not easy to forgive too but I can’t imagine anyone ever thinking that Sam isn’t Dean’s number 1 priority, especially Sam himself. But it’s always good to hear it, so I loved how Dean made sure his little brother knows it now, just like we all do. Beautiful dialogue here and amazing performances by Jensen and Jared (!). “Let it go” – and he did, thanks to his big bro standing next to him. Not that the effect the trials had on Sam completely disappeared but I’m sure these two together will be just fine. And once the guys are outside the church, we can see that angels are falling. The entire sequence is just stunning. Visually, it’s absolutely gorgeous. And in terms of the storyline, looks like a game changer to me!” Justyna Kubica

How I Met Your Mother - Season 9 - Confirmed to cover entire wedding weekend

CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler has now confirmed for TVLine that Season 9′s entire run will, in fact, span the wedding weekend and just the wedding weekend, as the comedy details “how each character, before Ted, meets the mother. So, they each meet her independently before he does.”

-Ratings Breakdown:
In typical Monday fashion, ABC topped the overnights courtesy of “Dancing With the Stars.” NBC is the network to beat demographically thanks to “The Voice,” which is expected to feature the returns of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green next season. And CBS has lost considerable steam.

Two-hours of “Dancing With the Stars” finished first overall for the evening with a 9.4 rating/15 share from 8-10 p.m., which was a loss of 17 percent year-to-year (versus an 11.4/17 on 5/14/12). Competing “The Voice” on NBC (#2: 7.1/11), of course, will clearly dominate among adults 18-49. And “The Voice” is the hot singing competition heading into next season.

“Dancing With the Stars” led into a dominant 7.3/13 for “Castle” at 10 p.m., while “Revolution” out of “The Voice,” which could have the advantage among adults 18-49, scored a third-place 3.6/ 6. Minus the lead-in support from “The Voice” next season, don’t anticipate all that much when “Revolution” anchors Wednesday at 8 p.m. Personally, I think that is too early in the evening for “Revolution.”

There were two season finales on CBS last night: “How I Met Your Mother” and “2 Broke Girls.” “How I Met Your Mother,” which finally revealed the identity of the mother, closed season eight with a 5.6/ 9 at 8 p.m. Comparably, that was right on par from one year earlier. Next was an encore of “The Big Bang Theory” at a 4.9/ 8 at 8:30 p.m. (#3), followed by the sophomore season-ender of “2 Broke Girls” at a third-place 5.7/ 9 at 9 p.m. While “2 Broke Girls” will certainly resonate demography, one-year earlier former time period occupant “Two and a Half Men” was notably stronger at a 7.5/11 (on 5/14/12).

Next on CBS was compatible “Mike & Molly” (#3: 5.6/ 8 at 9:30 p.m.), which featured a clever reference to classic sitcom “McHale’s Navy” courtesy of guest star Tim Conway, followed by “Hawaii Five-O” at a second-place 5.2/ 9 at 10 p.m.

In series-finale news, the two-hour sendoff of “90210” on The CW barely registered with a 0.6/ 1 in the overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that was 50 percent, on average, below year-ago occupants “Gossip Girl” (1.1/ 2 on 5/14/12) and “Hart of Dixie” (#5: 1.3/ 2). And it proves that this five-year old “Beverly Hills, 90210” revival never should have made it past season two.

Fox capped off the night with two episodes of demo friendly “Hell’s Kitchen” at an average 3.0/ 5 from 8-10 p.m.

Cristin Milioti (“Once”) is Cast as “The Mother”

In the very last scene of last night’s eighth season finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, viewers finally got to meet the titular “Mother” as she purchases her train ticket to Farhampton where she will eventually meet Ted. Broadway star Cristin Milioti (“Once”) plays “The Mother.”

Shot on March 27 at the Twentieth Century Fox lot in Los Angeles, Milioti’s casting and filming of her scene was kept in strict secrecy in order to preserve the surprise for the audience.

“It was a pretty big umbrella to fill, casting the title role in a series that's been on the air for eight years,” says Carter Bays, Executive Producer and Co-Creator of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. “And yet Cristin Milioti is, against all odds, exactly what we were looking for. She made us laugh on “30 Rock,” she made us swoon in “Once,” and her ukulele skills are no joke. Cristin Milioti just concluded her star turn as “Girl” in the Broadway smash hit musical “Once,” for which she received a Grammy Award as well as a Tony Award nomination for Lead Actress. Milioti will soon be seen playing opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in the upcoming Martin Scorsese feature film, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” due out later this year. Her previous television credits include “30 Rock,” “The Sopranos,” “The Good Wife” and “Nurse Jackie.”

How I Met Your Mother - Episode 8.24 - Something New - Review

People have always been saying that we will get see The Mother when Ted meets her for the first time, which would probably take place in the series finale. Although, I am one of those who wanted to see the mother before the series finale, I didn't expect that we would see her before Ted. However, I really like it this way. I see many people complaining that Cristin Milioti is not the right pick for the mother and this is not what the had expected, however, I am one of those who never had anyone pictured as the mother. Whenever I imagined her, she had a blank face (like Slender Woman). And I have to say that Cristin Milioti makes the perfect Mother for me.

Back to the episode, I have to so this episode was great; classic HIMYM. I liked that the brought some previous gags like , "Where's the poop" and "Teddy Westside". I always love Ted and Lily moments, and episodes with them are one of my favorites. Lily realizing the real reason why Ted is moving to Chicago shows how great their friendship is.

Meanwhile, Jason Segel is a comedy machine, all his jokes hit a home run for me, especially this one:

"I'm not good at making big decisions"

"... You sure you wanna be a judge?"

I am also glad that they brought back Marshall becoming a judge. Since they never gave us a time frame to when the flashforward to Marshall standing before the New York State Judiciary took place (from 8x08: Twelve Horny Women), I was worried that it would be addressed very late in Season 9, but I am glad they addressed it sooner than later.

The Barney and Robin storyline was cute and shows how great they are together. Although I haven't been a Barney/Robin shipper and constantly opposed them being together prior to the season 7 finale (where Robin is revealed as the bride), I have started to like them. They kisses the shared were really cute, especially the one before they leave for their wedding. Also Barney getting hit by the kitchen door in the restaurant made me laugh out loud every time.

The scene with everyone heading to Farhampton was my second favorite scene from the episode. The looks on everyone face is what I like the best from the scene (Ted has a determined look on his face, while Lily is wondering about her life in Italy etc). Also the song playing during this (Simple Song - The Shins) was prefect for this scene, and the mother reveal.

And then THE MOTHER REVEAL. I knew this was coming from all the hints the cast and the execs dropped, and then there was the "Mother of All Secrets" teaser promo, but I still got goosebumps when I realized that we were actually about to see The Mother.

One thing I am worried about though is the "56 hours to the wedding". That seems really specific and I wonder if Season 9 will entirely take place in those 56 hours and the wedding, like the fans have been speculating. I don't know if I'll actually like that, but I guess we'll have to wait for September to see if that actually happens, and if I (and other fans) like it or not.

Overall, I would say this episode was perfect, one of the best in the series.

But how did Milioti get cast? How’d they keep her casting a secret? How did it feel to watch her shoot her first scene? EW exclusively talked to How I Met Your Mother co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas about bringing the actress into the fold.

CASTING A SECRET “It was exciting,” says Bays about choosing the actress to play the much buzzed about role. “Part of what helped us is our casting director Marisa [Ross], she sort of has been talking about Cristin for two years now. It helped that she turned us onto her and then the more we got to know Cristin and see her work, the more we realized, Yeah, she’s the right choice. So that definitely helped, because we didn’t want to do a big casting cattle call — we were going to make it ‘come audition for Barney’s cousin’ or something.”

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: It’s already been announced that next season will be your last. With another year to go, why introduce the mother now?

CARTER BAYS: One of our hard and fast rules [when we thought we were doing eight seasons] was that we didn’t want to meet her until the very end. We felt like, now that we’re doing another year, let’s find an interesting new twist.
CRAIG THOMAS: We’ve talked here and there about letting the audience see the mother before Ted. Would that be fascinating or let some air out of the balloon? We were scared of it for a long time, but this past season, it came up, and it just fit in so well. Ultimately we view it like we’ve been honing in on this mother mystery for so long. In season one, it was like a shot of planet earth from outer space. And we’ve honed in and honed in and honed in, and we look at season nine as like now we’re down to Google street view. We’ve gone from a super-wide shot to super-microscopic-tight, and it just felt right to see the mother’s face and to give the audience that gift and that knowledge. There was something exciting about getting a little bit of her before Ted ever does. There was something that we felt like this audience who has stuck with us for all of these years we wanted to reward them with that.

BAYS: And to give ourselves the gift of having something. We didn’t want to do season 9 unless we had something that just got us really excited to write it. This concept got us very excited to write it and lent itself to a lot of great ideas that came out. The tipping point was when you have enough ideas that you’re going to be bummed if you don’t get to try these ideas, that’s when it became worth it for us to do season 9, and part of that is revealing the mother. The idea of getting to know her, getting to know where she’s coming from, it became too tantalizing to pass up. We always liked the poetic ending of you never really get to know her, you just see her face or something.

Truly, this is pay-off for the fans.

THOMAS: The thing we’re proud about in this series, we were able to pack some real surprises into the conventional sitcom form. A lot of viewers have given up on meeting the mother prior to the final episode. There are a lot of people who think that’s true. I think this will count as a genuine surprise for a lot of people. A lot of people think, “Oh, they got another year; we’re never going to see her face this year.” I think the way that the season ends, I’m hoping it will blow some people’s minds and surprise them and make them want to tune in and see what the hell we’re going to do with that.

Is it finally happening? Will How I Met Your Mother actually reveal Ted's future wife on Monday's Season 8 finale?

That's what a new promo would have you believe (watch below), which urges you to "get ready for the mother of all secrets." Naturally, co-creator and executive producer Carter Bays remains typically coy about the episode's possible unveiling. But with one more season left and two big finale reveals the past two years — Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) getting married and Robin (Cobie Smulders) being his bride, respectively — surely they have something major up their sleeves, right?

"There's a few cliff-hangers for a few different characters actually," Bays tells TVGuide.com. "It's kind of a crowded cliff."

Season 8 of How I Met Your Mother started with Ted sitting at the Farhampton train station “a little ways down the road” on the day of Barney and Robin’s wedding day. An elderly woman asks him what about the wedding he came from. He starts telling her about it and the scene flashes back to 10 hours earlier to the scene where we find out Robin is the bride. She tells Ted she is having a crisis and he tries to calm her down.

Cue to the present where Season 7 left off: Barney and Quinn getting engaged. Quinn quickly asks Robin and Lily to her bridesmaids, which Robin finds weird as she used to date Barney. She talks to Barney about this and he tells her that Quinn has no idea that they used to date. Quinn finds out about it and threatens to leave but Robin tells her that she doesn’t have feeling for Barney as she is dating Nick (her “Secret Crush” seen in Season 6). Meanwhile, Ted is happily driving off with Victoria, who left her fiancé Klaus at the altar. Ted finds out that she didn’t leave a note for him, which he asks her to write so he can leave it in her dressing room, at the same church where Barney and Robin’s wedding is in the future. During this process, Ted meets Klaus who has also gotten cold feet, and Ted makes sure that the blame comes on him, instead of&Victoria. As Victoria and Ted take off again, he stops at the Farhampton train station where Klaus is and asks him why he doesn’t want to marry Victoria. Klaus tells him that Victoria just wasn’t “The One” for him and makes a big speech, which is one of the best in the series, about how we shouldn’t settle for someone and wait for “The One”, which everyone finds eventually. Cue to the scene at the train station on the day of the wedding, where it’s raining. The Mother gets off a cab, walks to the train station and stands a few feet away from Ted, holding her Yellow Umbrella in one hand and a guitar in the other, revealing that this is the place where Ted and The Mother meet.

The season then jumps to September of 2012 in the next episode. The Autumn of Break-ups has begun, by the end of which, the three new couples (leaving out Marshall and Lily) will have broken up.

First to break-up are Barney and Quinn. Barney designs a pre-nup with preposterous terms for Quinn to sign, and she retaliates by designing her own pre-nup. This makes them realize that they don’t trust each other, and they break up.

Next couple to take a hit is Ted and Victoria. When Ted proposes to Victoria after she gives him numerous hints that she wants a deeper commitment, she gives him and ultimatum: He must stop being friends with Robin. After a lot of thought, Ted tells her that Robin is like family to him and he can’t do it, which results in Victoria breaking up with him.

The final couple to split up is Robin and Nick. When Nick injures his groin and can’t have sex with Robin anymore for a while, she realizes he is really thick, and can’t stand him anymore. However, she is reluctant to break up with him, but Barney helps her by falsely confessing his Robin (as he tells her) in front of Nick.

Marshall and Lily need a nanny for their son Marvin, and choose Lily’s dad Mickey, after he assures them that he won’t disappoint Marvin, like he disappointed Lily in her childhood. They also have to decide on a guardian for Marvin and after a game show in their apartment to decide which one of their friends to choose, during which the others make them realize that they haven’t been there for them ever since Marvin was born, they choose all three as guardians for Marvin.

Marshall has to fight a case for his environmental law firm against Gruber Pharmaceuticals, who have his longtime friend Brad as their lawyer. Although he wins the case, he fails to get the claimed 25 million dollars from Gruber, which disappoints him. During this arc, we learn that Marshall applies for judgeship in the future.

When Barney kisses Robin after a drunken night at a strip club, she pushes him away. Barney later tells her that he is done chasing her, which drives Robin nuts. She plans on sleeping with him one more time to get him out of her system, but is shocked to find out that he has started dating her arch nemesis from work, Patrice. She tries to break them up by showing Patrice the Playbook to tell her who Barney really is. Patrice then confronts Barney but he burns the Playbook to show her that he has given up his old ways. Robin then decides to fire Patrice to make her go away, but ends up breaking down in front of her and tells Patrice that it is really hard for her to see her with Barney.

Meanwhile, Ted’s building in construction; The New GNB Headquarters is finished. During a trip to Wesleyan to get his old architecture professor to come to the opening, Barney tells Ted his plan to propose to Patrice, and makes him swear he won’t tell anyone. Ted then deliberates if he should tell Robin. He tries to tell her at MacLaren’s but ends up asking her to be his date to his building’s opening. However, on their way to the opening he tells Robin about Barney’s plans to propose to Patrice on the roof of the World Wide News building (where Robin and Patrice both work). After much convincing from Ted, Robin is ready to tell Barney about her feelings for him. She heads to the roof of the WWN building, and finds it decorated with roses. She sees a piece of paper on the floor, torn from The Playbook. It explains how everything Barney did, from confessing his love to Robin in front of Nick, to dating Patrice and his plan to propose to her was all part of a play, titled “The Robin”, to get Robin back. Robin is furious at Barney for lying to her, but when he proposes to her, she becomes teary eyed and accepts his proposal.

Three days later, Ted has absorbed himself in planning Robin and Barney’s wedding which is taking place on May 25th, 2013, and he suggests that they get a DJ, instead of a band. However, Robin insists on getting a band. When Ted hires the band for the day of the wedding, so that they can’t appear at the wedding, Lily realizes something is up. She takes Ted aside and he tells her he is not OK with Barney marrying Robin as he STILL thinks she should be with him. Lily also admits to Ted that being a mother is getting to her. Although she loves Marvin, sometimes she wants to pack a bag and leave and that being a mom has stopped her from pursuing her dream in art. Meanwhile, Barney is busy convincing Robin’s dad that he is the right guy for her, which he achieves. At the bar, Ted tries to convince Robin to get a DJ again, but she doesn’t agree. Future Ted then says that getting a band was monumental in him meeting the mother. Cue to the future with a week to the wedding. Ted is at a train telling his former girlfriend Cindy and her lesbian partner that the band cancelled right before the wedding. She tells him that her former roommate (The Mother) and her band are available to play at the wedding, as their gig for that weekend got cancelled. Cue to the wedding, where Robin is dancing happily with her dad. The Mother is playing the bass, and Ted sees her and smiles.

After dating many a women, Ted is dating a young girl, but realizes that they have nothing in common and is about to break up with her, but Barney stops him. He tells him that he has to sleep with that girl as Barney is living through Ted after his engagement and is detoxing from his old lifestyle. Ted does sleep with her and when he shows her picture to Barney, he is shocked to see that it is his half-sister Carly. When Barney arranges a shotgun wedding for them, Ted makes him realize that his detox is done. This arc debunks the popular theory of Carly being The Mother.

Ted meets a girl, named Jeannette, at the train, but before he can talk to her, she gets off. He tries to look her up, and runs into her at the university where he teaches. He gradually finds out that she was stalking him for over a year, and started a fire at the university to meet him. However, Ted finds this endearing, and while discussing this with the gang, Robin lets it slip that she was also obsessed with a guy during her teens. While trying to find out who the guy was, Barney is informed that Robin wrote and sang a song, titled “P.S. I Love You”, about the guy she was obsessed with. With this song, she quit being Robin Sparkles, and became Robin Daggers, a darker side of her. It is later revealed that the guy Robin was obsessed with was Paul Shaffer.

Ted continues seeing Jeanette who we find out is the last woman he dated before he met The Mother. However, she turns out to be crazy. He tries to break-up with her, but she stops him from doing so. However, later on, she breaks up with him, and when Ted tries to get her back, Barney stops him and tries to find a new girl for him to be his plus one for the wedding, using the Playbook. He tells Ted that he didn’t burn the real Playbook earlier, and that Robin should never find out about this. Later Jeanette gets back together with Ted, and she and Robin both see the Playbook. Robin gets mad at Barney for lying to her, and tells him that he can never lie to her again. However, Barney tells her that lying is the reason they are together, and although he can’t stop lying to her, the one thing that isn’t a lie is his love for her.

Jeanette’s reaction to seeing the Playbook is totally different. She throws a tantrum and starts destroying Ted’s apartment. She then blows up the Playbook with fireworks. Ted then says that after this relationship, he is done with dating, and is ready to settle down.

Lily gets a job offer from The Captain, Zoey’s ex-husband, to be his art consultant, which she accepts. Although Marshall is supportive at first, he soon feels neglected due to Lily always being busy. However, Lily apologizes for ignoring him. Sometime later, The Captain tells Lily that he is moving to Rome for a year and he wants Lily to accompany him as his art consultant. Lily rejects his offer, as she thinks the Marshall loves his job, but soon finds out that they firm Marshall is working at is dead after the Gruber case, and he lied to her about being busy at his job. She tells him that this cost her the job offer from The Captain. Marshall then convinces The Captain to offer her the job again. However, Lily rejects the offer again, as she terrified to move away. Marshall assures him that everything will be fine, and they decide to move to Rome for a year.

With 45 days to the wedding, Ted is all alone as his friends are busy in with their lives. He then imagines an evening involving future versions of himself and Barney and plays out a night that happened five years ago. We also learn that 45 days before Ted met The Mother, she was dating a finance guy named Louis.

The gang plan Barney's bachelor party. For someone who makes every night of his life the best night ever, they give him the worst night of his life, which involves the return of Quinn as the stripper for his bachelor party, Ralph Macchio, Marshall’s life being endangered by Chinese mobsters after an evening at the casino, and Robin breaking up with him when she sees him with Quinn. When Barney finds out that this was all a hoax planned by Robin, he is blown away. He then meets his hero, the “real” Karate Kid, William Zabka.

With the wedding being so close, Robin tries to get her “something old” for the wedding, a locket she buried years ago when she first came to Central Park with her father. When she calls Barney for help after not being able to find it, he is busy, and she tells him that it’s not important. She then calls Ted, who after telling her that he is at a meeting, shows up at Central Park to help her when he realizes that this must be really important to Robin. They find the box in which Robin put the locket and Robin tells him that she has beenhaving doubts about the wedding, and finding the locket is a sign form the universe that she should get married to Barney. However, when the box turns out to be empty, she freaks out, and thinks that this is a sign from the universe that she shouldn’t get married. Ted then tells her that he has learned that there is no such thing as “a sign form the universe” and deep down we already know what we want. As Robin holds Ted's hand, they both affectionately look at each other as the camera backs away.

So this is everything important that has happened so far in the Season 8 of How I Met Your Mother. With the season finale airing this Monday, what do you think will happen?
