KLIMS 2026: Ticket Packages, Public Transportation

KLIMS 2026 have structured the ticketing system to ensure the event is highly accessible to all Malaysians, featuring complimentary weekday entries and highly flexible bundle options. If you are planning to visit, it is recommended to pre-purchase the tickets through the KLIMS official website.

The ticket for KLIMS 2026 is priced at RM30 per day for visitors above 12 years old, while it is free for children aged 12 and below. There is a discount of 50% for Senior Citizens (above 60 years old), students, and OKU visitors, provided that they present a valid identification document during wristband collection.

KLIMS 2026 have also provided value-for-money packages, including the 5-Pax Bundle Pass, which costs RM100 – equivalent to just RM20 per person. There is also the Ultimate Access Pass that allows visitors unlimited entries to the entire event for RM80 – further cutting the cost of the ticket to an average of just RM11.40 per day.

As noted earlier, KLIMS 2026 will offer complimentary weekday entries, which will be on 15, 16, and 18 June. The paid entry days will be on 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 20, and 21 June.

The recognition was given during the #JanganKenaScam Bank Heroes Recognition Event 2026, which honours frontline bank staff who identified suspicious transactions, intervened in potential scam cases and safeguarding customers from financial losses.

According to the banking industry, banks collectively prevented RM1.19 billion in fraudulent and suspicious transactions in 2025. This represents a three-fold increase compared to the previous year, while the number of blocked fraudulent transaction attempts increased by 46% year-on-year.

The Bank Heroes Recognition Event is now in its second year under the #JanganKenaScam campaign, This a nationwide scam awareness initiative launched in 2023 by The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) and The Association of Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM). The initiative is organised in collaboration with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

Syed Ahmad Taufik Albar, Chairman of the National Taskforce to Combat Fraud and Group CEO of Community Financial Services, Maybank, commends the dedication and vigilance of bank staff across the industry who continue to play a critical role in protecting customers against financial scams.

He said, “As personnel on the ground against financial crime, their swift actions and commitment have been instrumental in detecting suspicious activities and preventing fraudulent transactions before further losses can occur.”

“Their efforts, alongside the various security measures implemented by banks and financial institutions, contributed to a 46% increase in fraudulent transaction attempts successfully blocked in 2025 as compared to 2024. The total value of prevented fraudulent transactions also rose to RM1.19 billion, representing a three-fold increase year-on-year and reflecting the industry’s continued commitment to strengthening fraud prevention amid an increasingly sophisticated scam landscape,” he added.

Over RM600 million secured through Money Vault and Money Lock features

The banking industry also shared updates on the effectiveness of several anti-scam measures introduced by banks and financial institutions.

Some of the interesting stats include:

• More than 38,000 customers are using Money Vault or Money Lock features, with over RM600 million secured in protected accounts.
• Malware shielding capabilities helped prevent over 60,000 malware-related scam attempts involving approximately RM22 million in potential losses.
• Kill Switch functions have been activated by around 300,000 users, helping prevent close to RM7 million in potential losses.
• Banks have also introduced online security self-service check facilities that allow customers to perform account security health checks and take corrective action.

In addition, some banks have rolled out self-service security tools that enable customers to monitor devices, sessions and login activity to improve account safety and awareness. These measures are complemented by cybersecurity education programmes, particularly for SMEs, to help them better recognise and defend against evolving phishing and scam attacks.

Commissioner of Police Dato’ Rusdi Mohd Isa, Director of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), said, “The Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) values the strong collaboration and continued support from the banking industry in combating commercial crimes and scams. Through close cooperation and information sharing, banks and law enforcement agencies have strengthened efforts to better protect the public against evolving scam threats.”

The banking industry said it will continue to run awareness programmes under the #JanganKenaScam campaign to raise fraud literacy and encourage Malaysians to remain vigilant against financial scams.

The 68 recipients recognised this year came from 14 banks which include Agrobank, Alliance Bank, AmBank, Bank of China, Bank Islam, Bank Muamalat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, CIMB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Public Bank, RHB and UOB.

If you’re a potential victim of a financial scam, do report it immediately by calling the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) number 997. The earlier you report, the higher the chances of recovering your lost funds.

The premium crossover SUV receives several notable upgrades across both the Premium RWD and Flagship AWD variants with more performance, improved practicality, faster AC charging and additional features.

Among the biggest upgrades are the addition of automatic front doors, a built-in fridge and an intelligent interactive B-pillar, which are among the first to be seen in an EV in its class. These features are said to be included as standard across both variants.

2026 Zeekr X Malaysia pricing and availability

The refreshed Zeekr X for 2026 is expected to be priced between RM160,000 and RM180,000 in Malaysia.

Besides the newly updated crossover SUV, Zeekr is also showcasing the Zeekr 9X and the Zeekr 009 Grand at KLIMS 2026.

2026 Zeekr X: What’s new?

The 2026 Zeekr X is more than just a cosmetic facelift. Both the Premium RWD and Flagship AWD variants now come with automatic front doors, a built-in fridge, an intelligent interactive B-pillar, a multifunction steering wheel with touch bar controls, as well as a larger 404-litre boot (up from 362 litres).

The updated Zeekr X Flagship AWD now produces 365kW (489hp) and 573Nm of torque, providing a 0-100km/h sprint time of just 3.7 seconds.

AC onboard charging has been upgraded from 11kW to 22kW, which Zeekr says can charge the battery from 0% to 100% in four hours. WLTP-rated range is listed at up to 445km.

The range-topping model also gets additional front ventilated and massage seats, a black interior with red seatbelts, new 20-inch black forged wheels, and two exclusive exterior colours: Onyx Black and Matte Khaki Green.

Meanwhile, the Zeekr X Premium RWD now delivers 250kW (335hp) and 373Nm. It comes with 11kW AC onboard charging (previously 7kW), which Zeekr claims can recharge the battery from 0% to 100% in 7.5 hours. On a full charge, it offers up to 415km of WLTP-rated range.

Other upgrades for the Premium variant include a new white-and-black dual-tone interior, new 19-inch wheels and a head-up display (HUD). It also gets an exclusive new exterior colour option called Porcelain Pink.

The Zeekr X will comes with a comprehensive safety equipment list which includes 7-airbags and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), supported by 5 HD cameras, 5 millimetre-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors.

XPeng X9 2026 Facelift Malaysia Pricing, Colourway, Warranty

Officially called the XPeng New X9, the 2026 Facelift model is available in 3 variants. Here is the pricing:

• 2026 XPeng X9 FWD Standard Range: RM279,888
• 2026 XPeng X9 FWD Long Range: RM297,888
• 2026 XPeng X9 AWD Performance: RM333,888

Do note that the pricing mentioned above is the selling price and not inclusive of related fees such as handling, inspection, registration, ownership claim, road tax, and EV number plate.

Exterior colours Midnight Black, Arctic White, Matte Gray, and Lambent Cyan, while the X9 AWD Performance customers can also opt for Polar Violet (shown above). As for the interior colours, available options include Coffee, Meteorite Black, and Rose Brown, although this depends on the respective variants and exterior colours.

The X9 2026 facelift is covered with a 5-year / 120,000km manufacturer warranty alongside an 8-year / 160,000km warranty specifically for its high-voltage battery pack. Customers will receive free service and maintenance for 5 years or 100,000km, whichever comes first.

XPeng X9 2026 Facelift: Upgraded Performance, Battery, Range, DC Charging

One of the biggest changes that XPeng has implemented on the X9 2026 facelift model for the Malaysian market is the inclusion of an all-wheel drive (AWD) variant.

The X9 2026 AWD Performance features a dual-motor setup that has a combined power output of 370kW (496hp) alongside 640Nm of torque. This allows the variant to hit 0-100km/h in just 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 200km/h.

On the other hand, the front-wheel drive (FWD) variant comes with a 235kW (315hp) motor that also produces 450Nm of torque. While the X9 FWD still has the same top speed of 200km/h, the FWD Long Range (LR) has a century sprint timing of 7.75 seconds –  slightly quicker than the FWD Standard Range (SR) version, which takes 8.2 seconds to hit 0-100km/h.

Another major upgrade that XPeng has implemented on the X9 2026 facelift is a larger capacity battery. Specifically, the X9 FWD LR and AWD Performance come with a 110kWh NMC battery, while the X9 FWD SR receives a 94.8kWh LFP battery.

The new battery has also increased the MPV’s range – XPeng claimed that the FWD LR variant can deliver up to 615km of WLTP-rated range. As for the FWD SR and AWD Performance, their WLTP range is listed as 535km and 580km, respectively.

The newly facelifted X9 also offers improved DC charging speed. While the pre-facelift version is already quite fast at up to 317kW, the 2026 model pushes it further up to 537kW (FWD SR) / 542kW (FWD LR and AWD).

The improved DC charging speed helps reduce the X9’s 10% – 80% charging duration from 20 minutes to 12 minutes. That being said, there is no DC charger in Malaysia that can hit such a high speed at the moment.

Meanwhile, the 2026 X9’s AC charging speed still maxes out at 11kW, which is similar to its predecessor. It takes around 11 hours to fully charge the FWD LR and AWD Performance variants, while the FWD SR’s AC charging time is 9.5 hours.

XPeng X9 2026 Facelift: Changes to Exterior, Interiors, Tech

While X9’s futuristic physical outline remained the same, XPeng has made some changes to the MPV’s exterior aesthetics. This includes a more streamlined front fascia together with a minor design tweak for its rear bumper.

The facelifted X9 also comes with new soft-close front doors, “ultra fiber” steering wheel, and a 27-speaker X-Opera audio system. The 2026 edition is also the first XPeng model in Malaysia to feature the company’s Turing AI chipset, which is powering the MPV’s XPilot Assist ADAS suite, while there is also a separate Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip for the Xmart OS infotainment system.

The Zeekr 9X is the brand’s first Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) which aims to complete against the likes of the Rolls Royce Cullinan. Meanwhile, the Zeekr 009 Grand is the more upmarket version of the 009 MPV which features two individual lounge seats in a private rear cabin.

This is the first time the duo will be making their public debut in Malaysia and it is an opportunity for visitors to take a closer look.

You can check out both Zeekr models during KLIMS 2026 which is happening at Level 2 of MITEC from 12th to 21st June 2026. Besides these two models, we expect Zeekr to showcase its existing lineup which include the Zeekr 009, Zeekr 7X and the updated Zeekr X for 2026.

Zeekr 9X Specs and Features

To recap, the Zeekr 9X aka “Hangzhou Bay Cullinan”, is the brand’s flagship SUV and it is their first model to come with an internal combustion engine. The 2.0L turbocharged “Super Hybrid Dedicated Engine” produces 205kW (275), and the SUV can be opted with either dual-motor or triple-motor AWD setup.

The dual-motor version delivers 660kW (885hp) and 935Nm of torque, while the triple-motor version offers an insane 1030kW (1381hp) and 1,410Nm of torque. The triple-motor variant is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 3.1 seconds.

Available with either 55kWh or 70kWh battery packs, the Zeekr 9X boasts a CLTC-rated pure EV range of 355km or up to 1,165km for combined range. With a 900V architecture, the Zeekr 9X supports ultra-fast 6C charging, capable of charging up its 70kWh battery from 20-80% in just 9 minutes.

The Zeekr 9X is also equipped with sliding 17″ OLED display for rear occupants, built-in smart fridge with heating function and a 32-speaker 3868W Naim sound system. The second row features two powered captain seats that offer massage, heated and ventilated function. Even the third row comes with powered seats with its own physical adjustment buttons. The second row seats can also rotate 180 degrees to face the third row for a lounge configuration, similar to the Zeekr MIX.

Zeekr 009 Grand Specs and Features

Meanwhile, the Zeekr 009 Grand is Geely’s direct answer to Toyota Alphard Royal Lounge. This VIP transporter gets a 2+2 seating configuration with individual recliner seats for the rear along with a private wall separating the driver and rear cabin. It comes with a large 43″ smart screen, a built-in fridge with food heating function and a 31-speaker 3000W Yamaha Surround Sound system with 7.1.6 channel Dolby Atmos.

The Zeekr 009 features an 800V architecture with dual-motor delivering 580kW (778hp). It can do 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds up to a top speed of 230km/h.

Equipped with a 108kWh Qilin battery, it has a CLTC-rated range of 702km. Thanks to its 800V platform, it can do 10-80% charge in just 11.5 minutes.

The new tools are designed to give parents more control over who their children can communicate with, what content they can access and how apps provide age-appropriate experiences.

Apple says the new updates build upon existing Screen Time and family safety features already available across its ecosystem.

Parents can approve new contacts

One of the biggest changes is a new permission system for communications. The feature allows parents to manage who their children can connect with over Messages, FaceTime and Phone.

With iOS 27, parents can approve or decline requests when their children want to communicate with a new phone number. This adds an extra layer of control before kids can start messaging or contacting someone they have not interacted with before.

Stronger protections against sensitive content

Apple is also expanding Communication Safety, which is designed to help protect children from viewing or sharing sensitive images.

According to Apple, children will receive warnings when they receive or attempt to send images or videos containing nudity and it uses on-device machine learning. These protections extend across Messages, AirDrop, Contact Posters in the Phone app and other supported experiences.

The Communication Safety feature will blur detected sensitive content and provide guidance before a child chooses to view the image.

Apple is also expanding communication safety interventions to FaceTime video calls, where nudity can be detected and blurred during calls.

More age-appropriate app experiences

Apple is introducing a new Declared Age Range API which allows parents to reveal their child’s age range to apps without revealing their actual date of birth.

According to Apple, developers can use this information to provide age-appropriate content and experiences while minimising the amount of personal information collected from children.

The company is also updating age ratings on the App Store with additional age categories, allowing parents to make more informed decisions when choosing apps for their children.

Meanwhile, developers can also integrate the feature into their apps using a new PermissionKit framework, This allows children to send requests to their parents when they want to chat, follow or add new users within supported apps.

Easier child account setup

Apple is also making it easier for parents to create and manage Child Accounts.

When setting up a new device, parents can now more easily configure age-appropriate settings and protections. If a child has not yet been added to a family group, Apple says default child safety protections can still be enabled on the device.

A child account is required for children under 16 and is available for children up to 18.

Screen Time and family controls continue to expand

The latest updates also introduces a redesigned Screen Time which provides parents a quick glance view of their kids’ average device usage and most popular apps.

Parents can quickly make immediate changes to their kids’ access to apps and web browsing access immediately with a single tap. For important family moments such as meal time, parents can simply limit their usage with Device Pause.

If their children requires more time to complete something within an app, parents can also easily extend access.

Apple says the new child safety features are designed to give parents more tools to manage their children’s digital experiences while maintaining privacy and security. The new features will roll out alongside Apple’s latest software updates, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27 and tvOS 27.

This new enhanced parental controls comes at a time where governments are pushing tech companies to provide stronger protections for children online. In the UK, online safety regulations are placing greater emphasis on age-appropriate experiences and protections for minors.

In Malaysia, the MCMC has introduced measures aimed at banning social media access for users under 16 years old which requires users to verify their age using MyKad and official identity documents.

Apple says the delay is due to requirements under the EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA). This is a law designed to make digital markets more competitive and tackle dominance of large tech companies.

The DMA primarily targets tech giants such as Apple, Google, Meta and Microsoft, requiring them to open up parts of their platforms and provide users with more choice.

According to Apple, the DMA would require third-party AI assistants to gain access to the same system capabilities used by Siri AI. Apple argues this could create privacy and security risks, as AI systems may potentially access messages, files and actions across apps.

To address these concerns, Apple says it proposed a solution called Trusted System Agent, which would act as an intermediary layer between AI assistants and the operating system. The company also proposed launching Siri AI in the EU while gradually rolling out the new framework over an 18-month period.

Unfortunately, Apple says the European Commission did not agree to any of its proposals.

As a result, Siri AI will not be available at launch for iPhone and iPad users in the EU.

Apple SVP of Software Engineering Craig Federighi said, “We’re deeply disappointed that our EU users won’t have Siri AI on iPhone or iPad when we share our new software releases later this year.”

He added, “Our hope is to eventually bring Siri AI to the EU, and we will continue to engage with EU regulators on a path forward. However, their refusal to engage constructively on solutions that preserve privacy and security means we do not currently have a timeline for Siri AI’s availability on iOS and iPadOS in the EU.”

However, this isn’t an all out ban. Apple says Siri AI will still be available in the EU on supported Mac devices running macOS 27 and on Apple Vision Pro running visionOS 27.

While last year’s iOS 26 focused on a major visual redesign with Liquid Glass and Apple Intelligence enhancements, iOS 27 is doubling down on artificial intelligence.

The key headline feature is the all-new Siri AI, which can understand what’s on your screen, work across apps and answer questions using information from the web.

Apple is also introducing new AI-powered photo editing tools, AirPods Custom EQ, updates to Image Playground, smarter parental controls and several improvements across its apps and services.

Siri gets its biggest upgrade yet

Apple says Siri has been rebuilt from the ground up with next-generation Apple Foundation Models (AFM) which is custom built in partnership with Google and its Gemini models for deeply integrated Apple Intelligence experiences.

The new Siri is designed to be more conversational and can understand follow-up questions more naturally. It is also capable of understanding what’s currently displayed on your screen and can take actions across apps.

For example, Siri can find information from your messages, emails, photos and apps using personal context. If you need further action, Siri can answer questions using current information from the web and perform more complex multi-step tasks.

Beyond answering questions, Siri can now perform actions across apps such as finding information from conversations, creating reminders from messages, editing photos and organising content between apps using natural language commands.

Apple is also introducing a dedicated Siri app that keeps a history of conversations across Apple devices that’s synced privately via iCloud. Unlike the traditional Siri experience where interactions are largely temporary, users can revisit previous conversations, continue ongoing discussions and access past requests from their iPhone, iPad or Mac.

The app also acts as a personal memory bank for Siri, allowing it to reference previous requests and conversations to provide more contextual responses over time.

In addition, Siri now gains Visual Intelligence capabilities which is Apple’s take on Google Lens. Users can point their iPhone camera at objects, landmarks or items and ask Siri questions about what it sees.

Photos gets AI-powered editing tools

Apple is also adding several new AI editing features to the Photos app to fix bad shots.

One of the biggest additions is Extend, which can generate additional image content beyond the original photo frame.

Another new feature called Spatial Reframing allows users to adjust the perspective of a photo after it has been taken.

Apple has also improved its Clean Up tool for removing unwanted objects and distractions from images, while photo search is now powered by more advanced AI capabilities.

Apple Intelligence expands across more apps

Apple Intelligence is now even integrated even deeper into iOS 27. Safari can automatically organise tabs and monitor webpages for updates, while Shortcuts can be created using natural language commands instead of manually building automations.

Notes and Reminders gain smarter list creation and organisation features, while Messages receives additional AI-assisted suggestions.

Apple is also updating Image Playground with enhanced AI image generation capabilities, giving users more ways to create custom visuals using Apple Intelligence.

Apple Intelligence is still offered for free with their latest software releases however, Apple did mentioned that some features including image generation have daily usage limits as they rely on powerful server models.

Increased access is available with most iCloud+ subscription plans which also includes Apple Intelligence support for compatible home cameras.

AirPods finally get Custom EQ

For AirPods users, Apple is finally bringing a long-requested feature with the introduction of Custom EQ.

Users can now adjust low, mid and high frequencies to personalise how their AirPods sound. The controls are available directly within AirPods settings, providing greater flexibility over Apple’s default sound tuning.

More parental controls and Screen Time enhancements

Apple is also expanding parental controls in iOS 27 which is essential to create a safe digital environment for kids.

Parents can approve new contacts before children communicate with them, while Screen Time now provides more granular controls for categories such as social media, games and entertainment apps.

Apple is also introducing a new device pause feature, allowing parents to temporarily restrict device usage when needed as part of their redesigned Screen Time interface.

Communication Safety protections have also been expanded for younger users. The feature blocks harmful content such as nudity, gore and violent in shared images or videos for users under 18 years old.

Liquid Glass gets more customisation

Following feedback from users, Apple is making Liquid Glass more customisable in iOS 27.

A new opacity slider allows users to adjust the level of transparency across the interface, while Apple says readability has also been improved. So now you can adjust your preferred Liquid Glass levels from ultra clear to fully tinted.

iOS 27 also promises faster performance

Apart from new AI features, Apple says iOS 27 also delivers performance improvements across the operating system. It added that even older iPhones including iPhone 11 will feel more responsive thanks to better management of CPU resources.

According to Apple, app launches are up to 30% faster, new photos load in the Photos app up to 70% faster, while AirDrop transfers can be up to 80% faster compared to before.

However, there is a catch. While iOS 27 can run on iPhones dating back to the iPhone 11 series, some of its headline AI features have higher hardware requirements.

Apple says the next-generation Siri AI experience requires an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or newer supported models. This includes Siri’s ability to understand on-screen content, access personal context and take actions across apps.

As with previous Apple Intelligence features, availability may vary depending on device model and feature support.

Apple is also expanding language support for Apple Intelligence with additional languages and regional variants, including Singapore English. However, Apple has yet to announce support for Bahasa Melayu.

Developer beta for iOS 27 is available starting today, while a public beta is expected next month. The final release is expected later this year alongside Apple’s next-generation iPhone 18 lineup.

The CKD operation will start with current Kia models, which include Sportage and Carnival, that are currently being assembled at Sime Motors’ Inokom plant in Kulim. Future Kia models will be assembled in Gurun too, as the Korean giant will be leveraging the plant’s capability to support multiple types of powertrains.

With an annual capacity of 60,000 units, the 140-acre Stellantis Gurun plant currently employs over 400 personnel and has its own paint and body shop as well as an on-site test track. The facility also has dedicated zones for vendors and suppliers.

The latest cooperation with Kia came right after Stellantis announced the start of CKD operation for Leapmotor EVs at the Gurun plant. In a way, one may see this as a full circle moment for the Gurun plant, as Kia vehicles have been assembled there before, when it still belonged to the Naza Group.
