Maybe this writing is in the style of Rumi or not – who cares I say – it’s just that something wanted to be spoken, to be written, to be communicated, shared, cherished … and released.

I woke from sleep, thought about someone that I’ve known forever … and then the muse was stirred.

We cleave together you and I

Two inseparable Suns

That together burn fiercely, brightly,

Illuminating the Sky, the Cosmic All,

Where Life is born forever.

What words can describe our meetings

Our coming together

In seemingly impossible ways?

To see what we mean to each other

To ourselves

Endless partings, meetings, joinings …

A recognition in Each Other”s Eyes

Yet again?

You pulled me from sleep

To hear what I had to say

When I could form the words

Find the form

Fire the passion

Discern the meaning

Of this Eternal Joy that we seem to share

Together

Forever.

The above words were made by the UK’s BBC Channel 4 TV station, in an introduction to the 2012 Paralympic Games. Their coverage of the Games is presaged with a stunning invitation for the world to “meet the Superhumans” and, from what has been broadcast so far, there have been amazing, superlative, super heroic feats. Here are a few of them …

• a swimmer with no arms, who won her race with core body strength and phenomenal leg thrust
• a cyclist with no hands, using the stubs of his arms to steer his bike
• a one legged cyclist, powering along at a speed comparable to ‘normal’ race standards
• a double amputee running on prosthetic legs at superlative track speeds

The commentators on Channel 4 TV said that the Paralympics is an entity in itself, quite distinct from the London Olympics that preceded it earlier in August. The point is made that disabled athletes are only that in name only. The super human consciousness becomes a reality when an athlete sees their world, with all its challenges and apparent setbacks, as a dream that beckons and must be followed. A disability is only held as a perception. Decide what perception you are willing to live and fully embody, and you can have the determination to win against all predictable odds.

So perhaps it is only the power of these special stories, told on the Paralympic stage, that distinguish these athletes from their ‘more full-bodied’ counterparts. If you watch these Games you will be witnessing a different Olympics, possibly made more exciting and heroic from understanding what it takes for each athlete to be there.

What excites me is that there is a more public, powerful demonstration of what can be achieved by humans who have decided to devote their energies to the pursuit of excellence – and not feel diminished by what is said by those who do not understand what it means to strive for something beyond themselves.

There is a coming together of worlds that perhaps have never been so close together as now … the meeting of the perceptions … of what is seen as able bodied and what is viewed as disabled. Recognise that these perceptions are changing and you get a new appreciation of what it means to be in physical form. Blessed with the ability to express in any way possible, what seeks to be expressed, what desires to be seen and relished.

There is a refashioning of the human race taking place right now. You might be aware of it, you might be able to language what it looks like for you. But be assured that every one of us is super human in some way … if only we could all appreciate the truth of it.

Below is an interview with Soleira Green, in which we talk about the ’Super Humans’: part of which is about the paralympics and part of it is about the evolution of us into a new source race.

(Since January of this year I have been struggling with what I may describe as an asthmatic condition: often experiencing shortness of breath that is alleviated by using a prescribed inhaler.

This night I had to get out of bed and use the inhaler, to calm a feeling of being choked, after which I sat at a table and felt my energy settle into me, as if suggesting that my physicality needed to experience a simple truth about breath, beyond the use of the inhaler. I then observed my need for breath dissolve, to the point where I was almost not aware of breathing. There was a stillness where previously there had been a struggle. So, pencil and paper to hand, here is what I learned anew.)

BREATH

You measure Time with your breathing,

but there is no Time to measure;

Just an observation

of what flows invisible Indivisible.

I showed my conscious awareness that I struggled to breathe – fully, deeply – and it showed me that I was capable of being this flow, this ripple of the Cosmos, that wanted to be breathed as me, to be that which I sought to breathe. And so, I became it in the same moment that it became me.

My body relaxed and no longer sought to control my breath. For this action of breathing, this gift of this experience, reminds me of what is always so …

… this breath … this flowing motion of myself … beyond all boundaries that can be conceived.

There seemed to be something about magic buttons that attracted my attention recently. I was probably thinking about them as I drifted off to sleep, for when I work up very early in the morning I was aware of having a Facebook conversation with several people. And part of the conversation was centred around pressing buttons.

I hastily grabbed pencil and paper to jot down the last line of the conversation that I could remember, and then more lines came pouring through. On reading back what I’d written, it seemed to say that we are becoming more conscious of what we are sending each other. Sending so quick, so seamless, that there is no need to think about what to say, and no need to think about what we receive.

This conversation (in my inner world reality) lasted no more time than it takes to press a SEND button. Several people joined in the conversation. Each person posting their words, microseconds apart, with no possibility of knowing what arrives on the screen immediately before or after their post. What dictates what will be said and in what order it will be posted?



 …    by the power of the button of each precious moment

 …    you are fired into life

 …    wondering, trying to relate this moment

 …    to what has just passed, and realising

 …    that you can never stop

 …    long enough

 …    to find the dividing line

 …    which signifies that which is

 …    from that which is not

 …    for only what is vivid can alert you

 …    to a past moment of expression

 …    in which

 …    you found yourself alive -

 …    one more moment

 …     more potent than

 …    the rest of your life.



I got a clear answer to this dilemma of amazing synchronicity (which I have experienced lucidly, in real-time, on a couple of occasions). Once we acknowledge that we are a super-fast linked consciousness that operates in unimaginable ways then that becomes the sleeping and waking reality of how we be together. What will come next I wonder!!

“God is in the Blood”, I said, during a teleclass recently. It was one of those remarks that just pops out of your mouth. Now admittedly I had been reading ‘Magic in the Blood’ by Devon Monk, and the phrase was still lingering in my consciousness, but still, God in the Blood is something else.

Have you ever been so sure of something that you cannot be swayed from it? That your knowing of  that something is so strong, it becomes a foundation from which your whole existence is created.

That nothing can separate you from this awareness.

You know that ‘God is in the Blood’ when nothing disturbs the flow of your blood, of your breathing, of the rhythm of your life. And with the recognition that you are eternal and infinite, then it becomes easy to see how God is created with a thought.

God, Magic, Eternal Creation – you can drift in the slipstream of your thoughts, wondering where the revelations of life will take you, until you come to rest upon the sandbank of your physicality.

Ah the physical! So often we test our thoughts against our experiences of the physical.

So I pull upon my lines of thoughts to clarify what I’m seeking to express – and I feel the magnitude of what I’m seeking to embody.

It’s like I can hear myself speaking to me, saying that there is so much to claim in this embodiment, and that I must continue to discard the thoughts that no longer fit this body of mine. That I should take time to explore … to exercise my awareness … to claim that which previously I did not dare claim.

“Anything you consider and contemplate, now has a life of its own, because you birth it and nourish it with the threads of your wonderment.

Immortality is seeping through the consciousness of the cells that consider and contemplate the possibilities of immortality.

And your body is being shaped from what you are willing to experience next. So choose wisely.”

 Something is stirring in the blood and it is wonderful.

Read through this blog and you will know that I have an affinity with magic. For me, magic is the weave that seamlessly assists us to create stories that, in turn, help us to create this world in the most wondrous of ways.

Not everyone is aware of the power at their fingertips. Not everyone, apparently, knows the truth about Aladdin and the Genie.  

So here’s an extract from a recent teleclass, in which magic tells that story.

You are working together, as Aladdin and as the genie, to see what it is that really wants to come through, and to be able to completely and successfully enable that in your experience.

 So you could say – “Genie, I wish in the super-consciousness of my experience to have the greatest presence and effect of magic, in me, around me and through me, and to be shown in every possible way in the experience of life that I wish to engage in right now.”

 So the Genie bows. “It is your wish, my command – done!”

As Aladdin you feel that the commitment is enabled in you to experience the magic, the flow of it, the effortless continuity of it running through you. You feel you are floating on this magic carpet of energy. You are already experiencing the effect of it. You already have an awareness of some facet of what you are really looking for, but then you connect the dots … to see … I am the source of this too, I am the power of the effect, and now I am more able to create my reality of it and bring it alive, so that everywhere I look I see the magic is being fulfilled.

You literally create the circumstances for magic to be. 

This past weekend Soleira and I took part in a visionary entrepreneurs event in London. There were hundreds of business represented. The purpose of the event was to get funding to get your business more widely known and take it (and yourself) to the next level.

I can’t disclose details about the event, because of a confidentiality agreement, but I can attest to its spirit as personified by one of the business owners that we met there. That business is called One Life Ceremonies. They help co-create personal and contemporary ceremonies across the UK according to your wishes. Those ceremonies reflect every part of life; whether births, deaths, weddings, or anything in between.

Of their weddings they say -

“We write your wedding ceremony around you, the words you use, the stories you tell us and the commitments and promises you want to make to one another.”

This got me thinking though about the many life ceremonies that we enact every day. One of the more publicised ceremonial events taking place right now is Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee. Today is the final day of the Jubilee weekend and is marked by a national service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-16598483 for particulars. It’s an opportunity for the whole of the UK to join in a national celebration in any way that they choose.

That I think is the whole point of life – that we select special ways to celebrate our being together and that we openly declare our love for whatever moves us. Look to the spirit of any event to see what is moving you.

I recall when I first consciously connected with the spirit of an event. It was after seeing an Irish rugby match on TV. To me it was just another rugby match but to my friend, who was Irish, it represented something so much more. She was so upset at seeing the Irish side lose that I couldn’t help but show her that the seeds for celebration are deeply sown in us, as gifts for how we feel about life. It really doesn’t matter about winning or losing, the seeming triumphs and defeats – it’s all in the memorable magical weave … that we are able to share together this One Life Experience that is made from all of us.

So here is the open invitation … feel this moment and really get that every moment is a cause for celebration, and it is up to every one of us to decide what we wish to celebrate.

Have you noticed a deepening sense of  love for life (or life for love), growing within you almost moment by moment?

Do you find yourself thinking about people, warming to them, and then inexplicably noticing a relationship that isn’t built on any sort of desire at all – and yet has an irresistable attraction to something wondrously profound?

A relationship that is not the traditional human experience of seeking reciprocity from others.

Instead there is an encompassing feeling of balance and rightness and order. And this feeling is sourced from an awareness that says … no matter if we view ourselves as individuals … we are all a unified force, co-existing in a myriad of forms and expressions, devoted to exploring LIFE.

This Love Affair is very tangible. We’ve seen evidence of the bonds that exist between species in the animal kingdom, but what’s not been so apparent is the bond between Earth and Cosmos.

Yet wait … our consciousness has become inquisitive and wants to explore; wants to know more about everything; and wants to have the experience of being earthly and Cosmic at the same time.

It says that this Love Affair is our next logical step.

And so we extend our feelings for life into every part of the Cosmos; looking into the hearts of stars and examining our relationship to what we find. We must allow that we can communicate with life on other planets and receive messages from other races, whose existence we can now concede to be as real and true as our earthly kin. For once we affirm that such communications exist then we are no longer separate from that reality.  And a desire for the exploration and expression of our union starts to emerge in us.

This Cosmic Love Affair is a declaration that we no longer hold to vows, beliefs, or anything that would keep us tethered to erratic emotional feelings about people – or feel that Life exists only in a small speck of space. Something vast has stirred and we can own it. We can embrace this vastness and become it totally ~ realising the potential of this untamed flow of energy that simply is and wishes to be whatever we breathe into Life from this moment on.

Gayle creates wall hangings that depict Merlin, dragons, and other fantastical creatures. She makes dragon and phoenix brooches, and also works the designs on scarves and bags. Each piece is handmade and unique.

The Chinese New Year - The Year of the Dragon – is under way

Dragons are wonderful mystical creatures that seem to lurk in the shadows of our consciousness until we dare look them in the eyes and tell them that we are ready to play.

What you say? Play with dragons? Isn’t that like playing with fire? Well to answer that, it seems that dragons have many qualities and that there are many types of dragon. My friend Sue Couch tells me that this is the Year of the Water Dragon – one of the 9 major types of Chinese dragons.

But to get to know what dragons really mean to us, we must leave aside stories of tradition and speculation,  and be open to what we might say about these mythical, mystical, and magical creatures.

So let’s walk in unknown territory, with nothing to guide us except what we feel about the landscape through which we are walking, and allow ourselves to become dragons. Stop breathing the air for a moment, telling yourself with each breath that you are only a human. Be aware that you can take on any form that you choose and have any experience that you desire.

Reach into your deep knowing of what a dragon is – and  become it. Embody it. What do you notice? What is different? What are you so filled with, that you perhaps sit in silence for awhile, in order to appreciate the fullness of the moment?

Yes, this year is most definitely under way – and with every dragon breath that we take we can create the living reality of our world to be something super-special. Let this year be filled with exuberance, brilliance, mystery, colour, movement, jaw-dropping amazement and wondrous enchantment … and whatever else the dragon might whisper in your ear!
