The Nike Vandal sure has seen a spike in popularity as of late, which we really like because it is a design that we have always really enjoyed. The Vandal has been seeing many colorways as of late, both very colorful and very subtle ones as well. This one however happens to fall somewhere a bit in the middle as it is not too wild but it isn’t too subtle either.

The shoe will feature a predominantly red upper but will be accented nicely by both black and white colors as well. The shoe gives off a definite Chicago Bulls colorway and should appeal to any Air Jordan fan that has a bit of an empty wallet problem. The shoe also features a removable velcro strap as well, so you can wear it whichever way you like it. These are available at your local Nike retailer as of right now.

Jordan Icons Joe Johnson PE

The Jordan Brand sure has a knack for scooping up the hottest players of the moment and helping to bring them into fruition as basketball greats by sponsoring them and giving them their very own PE sneakers. The latest player to get his very own Player Edition sneaker is the Arkansas native by the name of Joe Johnson. The shoe will come in the form of the Jordan Icon and we are fairly sure that you will be able to appreciate these ones much more than the all green Ray Allen pair that we looked at before.

This shoe will match the navy blue away uniforms of the Atlanta Hawks and be accented by white all over, but with the most interesting part definitely being the pattern that is featured on the midfoot. These shoes will be releasing on March 20th at House of Hoops locations all over the world.

Ray Allen’s Jordan Hallowed Ground St. Patrick’s Day PE

Just when you thought that you had seen all of the cool St. Patrick’s Day themed sneakers that you could possibly see, a new pair comes a long to teach you to never underestimate the Jordan Brand. We have already seen a multitude of St. Patrick’s Day shoes from companies like Nike and Supra, but we might be digging this new Jordan Hallowed Groung Ray Allen St. Patrick’s Day PE the best of all.

While most St. Patrick’s Day shoes feature a predominantly green colorway with gold coming in as a secondary color, these ones will do exactly the opposite. They will feature a predominantly gold upper that is accented by white throughout the rest of the upper. A green clover logo can be found on the outside ankle area to let you know that these are indeed a pair of St. Patrick’s Day sneakers. Pretty cool if you ask us.

Nike Hyperdunk – University of Kentucky PE

From the Hyperdunk series, Nike finally completes the university edition lineup which includes a player exclusive for the Kentucky Wildcats. This particular PE has been expected to be one of the hot shoes on the court in the 2010 March Madness NCAA Tournament that just commenced.

The Nike Hyperdunk – University of Kentucky PE boasts a gradient Blue mid-panel that fades to White on the heel. The Flywire design crossed from different directions, thus giving the panel a new look. It possesses a Wildcat graphics on the toe panel and a University of Kentucky logo on the tongue.

A Blue mesh construction was employed on the tongue and the ankle window frame also comes in the same shade. As for the Swoosh, it appears in Blue with White border. The rear plastic panel lets the Nike branding be embossed in large font. Finally, a traditional Hyperdunk sole makes the whole pack of Blue and White appear remarkable.

Supra NS Collection

For most sneakerheads Supra is known as one of the dominating brands in the industry for fashion and cutting edge design, but the company is still, at it’s core, a skateboarding company. With a lineup featuring great skaters like Chad Muska and Terry Kennedy there is always something for skaters to be pleased with from Supra. For those of you who don’t know a kickflip from a heelflip though, they have just announced this new Supra NS Collection, with the NS standing for No Skate.

The Collection will feature Supra sneakers like the Assault, Cuttler and Strapped 2. They will all come in predominantly black colorways, although there will be an additional gray colorway for the Assault. All of the pairs are made from full grain leather and look so good that you wouldn’t dare skate in them even if you could. These shoes are available in stores right now.

Size? x New Balance 577

You may not have ever heard of them before especially if you are living in the states, but Size? is actually a very well established UK retailer with a long history of working on collaborations with sneaker companies like Reebok and now here with this New Balance 577. They will be releasing two different versions of the 577 that we are going to take a bit of a closer look at right now.

The first pair in the pack will make use of an olive upper with suede, mesh and leather all coming together to make up one definitely fantastic shoe. The N logo on the midfoot will come in orange to add some color. The second pair will feature a black upper, but in the toe box cross stitched nylon will replace the mesh from the previous pair. Both will feature gum bottoms and should release later this year.

Air Jordan V Eddie Jones PE – Grizzlies Away

Being one of the top NBA talents, Eddie Jones who once played for Memphis Grizzlies deserves another round of applause and another pair of Jordans. As a pro, he played good in different teams while he received basketball shoes from Air Jordan. Today’s pick is an Air Jordan V which was inspired by the Grizzlies Away uniform.

The Air Jordan V Eddie Jones PE – Grizzlies Away has Black nubuck as the dominating color on the upper. As its original structure, this Jordan owns a perforated plastic panel, padded tongue displaying a Blue embroidered Jumpman logo, Jones’ jersey number, “6″ on the heel area, and a Black-speckled shark teeth-like design on the midsole. Underneath is a translucent outsole depicting the Jumpman silhouette on the forefoot.

This simple Air Jordan V colorway pays tribute to Eddie Jones’ stay with the Grizzlies. And for Jones, this is a pair that reminds him of his Memphis moments for two years.

Reebok Freestyle Greek Mythology

Reebok seldom configures its design but only applies new colors on certain models that often create interesting combos. Like any other shoe brands, uniqueness is the key to a successful sneaker promotion that is why Reebok referenced to the well-known story of all time that originated in the land of gods and goddesses or should we call it the Greek Mythology.

In three Reebok Freestyle designs, varying characters from the myth generates the so-called X-factor on each shoe. The first pair was dubbed as “Athena”, the Greek god, Zeus’ daughter who stood to be the goddess of wisdom, weaving, and arts and who in particular loves to carry her owl. And Athena’s owl was the center of inspiration that the shoe adopted, thus showing up a feather-printed upper on Beige base with Brown overlay and Gold woven-designed ankle and straps.

Goddess Medusa comes next to motivate the second Reebok Freestyle pair by allowing a snake-printed upper and snakeskin concept on the ankle with accent of metallic tone. For the third inspiration, concept was taken from Callisto, or constellation that draws the Black upper with the constellation images.

This is your chance to recall your Greek Mythology as well as to put them on in the form of these creative designs.

Nike Vandal High – Black/Grey/Red/Safari

Originally, the Nike Vandal High do not use leather but thick canvas or nylon. From its first production in 1984, this basketball shoe has dropped in different colorways with some special editions. To add another spanking new look, Nike has unleashed the pair where in Black, Grey, Red, and Safari were associated.

With this next Vandal High color-up, the ever so popular Safari print takes the biggest role as it takes the most prominent place in this model. Nike chose the heel area to be the most ideal spot for this animal-inspired print. As we can see now, from the collar to the quarter panel down to the heel is a Safari-dominated area. This makes the real attraction.

Going through the next attribute, a Black Swoosh with Red border appears just across the printed part. The Red eyelets even made a hotter scene as Red Nike branding appears on both heel and tongue. Set as overlay is the Grey strip laid on the most obvious contours that separate each panel.

A White midsole with visible stitching gives this Vandal High a neutral look. Dr. Jays and other Nike retailers are now offering this release.

Nike Hyperdunk Gonzaga University PE

With all of the new Hyperdunks that have been releasing over the past few weeks it can be certainly very hard to keep them all straight. Part of this may be due to March Madness and the NCAA tournament and part of it may be because Nike knows that their fans like variety and options. Fans of the Gonzaga University team should be very pleased with this new shoe and the new Player Edition colorway.

This new Gonzaga PE features a navy blue upper that is accented very nicely by a navy to white gradient midpanel as well as a red swoosh, a red outsole and a red inner lining. The Gonzaga bulldog can be spotted here on the tongue of the sneaker, while the inside of the tongue will reveal the founding year of Gonzaga University, which was in 1887. The bad news is that these won’t be available at retailers.
