Rob,

Thanks for the comment. There is an interesting study that was done over at www.forcedregistration.com. These guys tried to determine which style was more effective. It seems that it works out to be about the same. Our goal was to change the game with registration by allowing agents to connect with people coming to their site that didn't register. We call it Anonymous Lead Capture. Not to be cliche, but we hope it will change the way agents connect with their website visitors.

I think the fact that people even debate about the topic of registration at all proves that there needs to be a shift in technology to allow agents to be more effective with their online lead capture. This is just one of the ways we have tried to help agents do that.

We would love to hear your feedback after you try out unforced and see if it matches what the guys at forcedregistration.com found. This type of feedback can be used to help make our products better.

For five years I have always required forced registrations. I've even argued the side for forced registration on various blogs, back in the day when those arguments were hot.

I just watched your eBook and it now has me seriously thinking about a trial run of NO registration, maybe a few months, to see what happens.

I can tell you that forced reg does work and I've build a great business from it. But I'm curious about how many more I get in the end if I let all visitors search with no registration.

Also, wondering about the quality of the leads that I will get with unforced, since presumably, right from the get go, they are not on the defense.

I'm sure I will need to add some other non-forced registration bait to the site, but this a project I've had in my head for two years and it's time to do it.

David- I really enjoyed your presentations at RETSO, and am looking forward to working with the Creative Roof team. One Q: for the end user, do your IDX search result give a specific URL for each MLS listing?

Thanks!
