Tattoo Mini Sessions!

Do you have a tattoo or 20? Want to get some photos taken but you are always tight for cash? A mini-session is just what you need!

I will be doing photo mini-sessions on October 7th and 8th at the National Harbor just for you!

Your mini photo session will be 20 minutes in length and it will cost just $35 (a $75 value). I’m only going to offer 5 of these per day for a total of 10 people.

What do you get??

You have up to 10 different poses and receive 1 – 5 x 7 for $35.

(You can always buy bigger sizes in the future if you want, I keep my photos for up to three years.)

If you have never been to the National Harbor you should definitely join me down there for some photos! I have a few really cool places to take photos and make you look your best!

Paperwork and other details can be worked out through email. Cash at the time of photo session will be needed or you can pay in advance.

There are just a few dates left available for 2011. Schedule your holiday photos soon! It would benefit you, as those appointments go pretty quickly! Usually holiday photos are in the Fall, that way they are printed in plenty of time for the holidays!

New addition!!

My maternity client, Z, had her baby girlie yesterday morning! Congratulations to you and the proud daddy! 9 lb 2 oz and 21 inches long, red hair and blue eyes. I cannot wait to meet her on the 26th of July for her first photo session! Try to get some sleep and I will see you guys soon!

New Assistant!

Just found a great new assistant to help me out with photo sessions, paperwork and other things. I’m so grateful that I have Stephanie to help me out. She starts next week!

Assistant Wanted

My old assistant moved to NC in late April and I’m swamped without someone to keep me on track. A great assistant for myself is someone that is either in college or a just graduated college, no kids, an eye and/or passion for photography and the ability to help out without always being asked. Also I would prefer a non-smoker! I need someone with a reliable car and cell phone as well as being reliable and stable. I will rely on you to make the photo sessions as scheduled and I will also need someone to bounce ideas off of. You need to be a team player with an ability to be comfortable around children and families.

This is a paid position, it’s just not a steady, daily job. I work on Saturday’s when photo sessions are scheduled, paperwork and other tasks weekly. If you or someone you know seems to fit the bill, please let me know, thanks!

Mini-Session Availability

Sara Nelson Photography is now scheduling photo appointments for mini-sessions on Saturday, June 18, 2011. This is a great time to get a family reunion or family photo!

The location for these mini-sessions is at Laurel Springs Park, LaPlata. There’s a lot of great trees and an open area that is perfect for photos whether it’s a group, a family, toddlers, couples.

A mini-session is usually 20-30 minutes in length, two will be offered each hour. Families, children, couples, friends, anyone that would like to have their photo taken. This isn’t limited to only high school students or families, this is open to anyone!

The following prints will be offered with the mini-session. A consultation will be needed to guarantee your appointment. No photos will be taken without an appointment. Consultations take about 20 minutes and these cannot be done the day of the session.

1 – 5″ x 7″
OR 2 – 4″ x 6″
OR 4 – 3.5″ x 5″
AND 8 wallets

$75

Larger sizes will be available for purchase. Smaller sizes (4 x 6 and under) are usually not offered in regular sessions. If you would like to combine sizes listed, please let me know.

The following times are available for June 18, 2011. This date is subject to change according to the weather. If the bad weather presents itself, you will be contacted with alternate dates and times for your session. There’s only 4 open slots, contact me as soon as possible, to secure the time you would like.

Z – Maternity Photos

You can see the results of a recent maternity session, here. This was a really fun session as the mom-to-be was really cool and we were on the same wavelength! Some photos will not be added until after the baby arrives. I will also be taking baby photos in the near future! The baby plan I offer is a photo at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and one year. Each session includes 1- 5 x 7 and a smash cake on the baby’s first birthday.

Vacation Schedule

Chance Senior Photos Part 3

Chance was in front of my lens again this year. You can see some of his photos here. You can see all of his photos, from all of his sessions, here. His sessions were included in the package that was purchased along with prints. There were three sessions of about an hour each as well as prints. We’re reserving a few minutes this month sometime for cap and gown photos.
