These foods were heated in microwave ovens only for the amount of time needed to cook, thaw, or heat the food to ensure sanitation. A summary of the results follows:

* in meats, it caused formation of d-Nitrosodiethanolamines, a carcinogen
* in milk and cereal grains, some amino acids were converted into carcinogens
* thawing frozen fruits caused their glucoside & galactoside to be converted into carcinogens.
* cooked or frozen vegetables with only short exposure converted their plant alkaloids into carcinogens.
* plants, and especially root vegetables formed carcinogenic free radicals.

In another short term study of 8 people, significant changes in the blood of people consuming microwaved milk and vegetables was discovered. The same combination of foods were cooked by different methods, and in all of the foods cooked in a microwave oven, blood changes were noted in the volunteers, such as decreased hemoglobin, white cell, and lymphocytes levels, and increased cholesterol levels.

Dr. Lita Lee's book "Health Effects of Microwave Radiation-Microwave Ovens," as well as in the March and September 1991 issues of Earthletter, stated that every microwave oven leaks electromagnetic radiation, harms foods, and converts substances cooked in them to dangerous organ-toxic and carcinogenic products. So why are microwave ovens still being sold and haven't been banned by the FDA?

It's guys like you who keep women like me from being respected at work and in the community, and from reaching our full potential as a person. It's because you and your kind continue to perpetuate discrimination against not only blondes, but women in general... and all in the name of humor!'

The embarrassed ventriloquist begins to apologize, and the blonde yells: 'You stay the hell out of this, mister! He said released memo's create a 'moral imperative' for a congressional investigation, or a criminal probe that could involve former vice president Dick Cheney's staff, or Cheney himself.

One question for Dodd, the public servant. Why not ask for an investigation into the Obama administration for using drone's to bomb terrorist's and in the process, kill innocent women and children in Pakistan?

Obama has given the OK for a couple of recent bombings, INSIDE ANOTHER COUNTRY THAT WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH!! The reasoning is that intel said they could kill top ranking terrorists.............now, follow me here.......in the past, we waterboarded people to find out info to keep Americans safe....Obama is bombing terrorists to keep Americans safe......

Waterboarding does not kill anyone, or if it did, it would only kill the terrorist!

Bombing may or may not kill the terrorist, if the terrorist left before the bombing, although for a fact, it KILLS INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN!!

Why is there no outcry about this? Where is Obama's minister, Rev. Wright? Why isn't he using the media and talking about the terrible, satan America, bombing innocent women and children? Won't the chickens come home to roost because of Obama killing innocent people? Wright said we deserved 9/11 because our 'chickens came home to roost' because we were such a terrible country in the past. Is it OK now, because its Obama, to kill innocent people??

Is this just a ploy by Dodd to get attention away from HIS CRIMES? Unfortunately, it always seems to work, get the attention on another subject and the rest just goes away. Rotten, disgusting, criminal politicians win again.

They keep reporting that 36,000 people die every year due to the regular flu (whatever that is). Right.

As reported by Michele Cagan, Health Sciences Institute, the virus has nothing to do with swine. In fact, it hasn't been seen in a single animal, and you can't possibly get it from eating pork. She claims that it doesn't seem to have come on naturally and according to the World Health Organization this particular strain has never before been seen in pigs or people. According to Reuters, the strain is a 'genetic mix' of swine, avian and human flu. Was it created in a lab? They don't know yet.

The media is fixated on the 100 or so people who have died in Mexico from the swine flu, however, the health care in Mexico is terrible, no comparison with America. Mexico has large area's that lack clean water and basic sanitation. Sure, Mexico has had some bad cases of Swine Flu, but they've also had lots of Dengue Fever and Chagas, too. Any news on those items? Of course not.

Bottom line......just like with any type of flu, wash your hands, stay away from crowds if you can, get plenty of rest and fluids if you start getting sick, and try to keep your immune system charged up.

They're not really interested in reducing violent crime, they just want to BAN GUNS from law-abiding citizens. They lie and say that 90% of the guns in Mexico come from America. Its an outright lie!

Fanatical anti-gunner, Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ)introduced bill S-843, essentially, a re-introduction of the same bill he introduced in the 110th congress -- S.2577. And as before, this bill calls for massive new government powers to register gun show customers, register gun owners, retain info on people who PASS criminal records checks when buying firearms, heavily tax both gun collectors and gun sales and require gun show promoters to 'police' gun show customers, as if they were agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Paul Helmke, President of the Brady Campaign, said "we can do this. It will have no impact on any law-abiding gun owner in the country." OF COURSE IT WILL!! It will ONLY impact law-abiding gun owners. Does this idiot think that criminals, drug cartel members and violent gangs thugs are going to start legally purchasing firearms and submitting to a background check?? Of course not, and he knows that.

Bottom line...........in 1994, under Clinton and the Democratically controlled congress, the assault gun ban started, and guess what?? Shortly after that, the Republicans were elected to a majority in congress for the first time in 40 years. Do you think that's not in the back of Obama's mind? He talked big during the campaign to ban assault weapons, and now he's backing down......but his minions, like the Brady Campaign and other power hungry people, want to keep pushing it. We'll see how it plays out.

The key is that they are 'supplements' to the diet, not in place of real food. In the past few years I've taken Co-enzyme Q10 (COQ10) and really didn't notice much of a difference in my energy. 40 some years ago, red meat used to furnish us with plenty of COQ10, however, store bought meat is seriously deficient now, so the need to supplement.

As an experiment, I stopped taking COQ10 about a month ago, and I really feel the difference---in a bad way. Not as much energy as I used to have and when I exercise, I don't seem to be able to go as long as I did even a few weeks ago, so I've decided to start back on COQ10. I'll let you know if or when I notice a difference.

The reason I wanted to experiment is because my father-in-law, who has had heart by-pass, and takes numerous medications, was told by his doctor (quack?) that COQ10 won't hurt him, but it won't help him. With all the research out that statin drugs, which he is on, deplete your COQ10, this doctor is either stupid or ignorant of the facts. I lean toward stupid.

As with most things in life, supplemental vitamins, exercise, eating, drinking and even investing, should all be done in moderation. As I get older, I try to experiment more with what works for me and what doesn't and adjust where needed. I'm not so concerned with living to be 120 yrs old, but for as long as I live, I would like it to be in decent health, if I have a choice in the matter. Unfortunately, we can only control certain things in our lives, although to some extent, how much you weigh and how you feel are under your control.

One last example of weight: our one dog and a few of our cats were getting a little over weight in the past, so their food rations were cut back, and guess what?? They LOST WEIGHT!! What a novel idea, cutting back on food and losing weight. I guess the old adage works: 'Eat less, and exercise.'

The very blonde wife picked up the phone, listened a moment and said 'How should I know, that's 200 miles from here!' and hung up. The husband said, 'Who was that?' The wife answered, 'I don't know, some woman wanting to know if the coast is clear.'

SECOND DEGREE
Two blondes are walking down the street. One notices a compact on the sidewalk and leans down to pick it up. She opens it, looks in the mirror and says, 'Hmm, this person looks familiar.'

The second blonde says, 'Here, let me see!' So, the first blonde hands her the compact. The second blonde looks in the mirror and says, 'You dummy, it's me!'

THIRD DEGREE
A blonde suspects her boyfriend of cheating on her, so she goes out and buys a gun. She goes to his apartment unexpectedly and when she opens the door she finds him in the arms of a redhead. Well, the blonde is really angry. She opens her purse to take out the gun, and as she does so, she is overcome with grief. She takes the gun and puts it to her head.

The boyfriend yells, 'No, honey, don't do it!!!' The blonde replies, 'Shut up, you're next!'

FOURTH DEGREE
A blonde was bragging about her knowledge of state capitals.
She proudly says, 'Go ahead, ask me, ... I know 'em all.'

A friend says, 'OK, what's the capital of Wisconsin ?'

The blonde replies, 'Oh, that's easy ... it's W.'

FIFTH DEGREE
Q: What did the blonde ask her doctor when he told her she was pregnant?
A: 'Is it mine?'

SIXTH DEGREE
Bambi, a blonde in her fourth year as a UCLA Freshman, sat in her US Government class. The professor asked Bambi if she knew what Roe vs. Wade was about.

Bambi pondered the question; then, finally, said, 'That was the decision
George Washington had to make before he crossed the Delaware.'

SEVENTH DEGREE
Returning home from work, a blonde was shocked to find her house ransacked and burglarized. She telephoned the police at once and reported the crime. The police dispatcher broadcast the call on the radio, and a K-9 unit, patrolling nearby, was the first to respond.

As the K-9 officer approached the house with his dog on a leash, the blonde ran out on the porch, shuddered at the sight of the cop and his dog, then sat down on the steps. Putting her face in her hands, she moaned, 'I come home to find all my possessions stolen. I call the police for help, and what do they do? They send me a BLIND policeman!'

Then it says eating red meat and processed meat. One thing I would like to know is, what type of red meat are they eating? Is it processed? Is it store bought from processing farms that use steroids and antibiotics? Do they feed the animals corn?

I would like to see a study of people eating red meat from grass fed animals that are not injected with drugs. I guess that will never happen though.

When the mainstream media publishes reports about red meat causing cancer, they really need to point out what type of meat! I try to stay away from 'store bought, grain fed meat' as much as possible. People need to know that they NEED SATURATED FAT. Eating grains, low-fat anything, soy and many types of fish (especially farm raised fish--another food that is pumped with drugs and antibiotics) will make and keep you sick your whole lifetime. Just look around and you'll see what I mean.

I'm fortunate enough to have found a small-time local farmer that avoids drugs and lets his cattle graze on grass. Combined with eggs from a local farmer, I avoid 'store bought' as much as possible. Add good quality protein to your diet, cut back on the grains and see how much better you feel.

Of course, it was, but it was helped along TREMENDOUSLY by the government intervention over the years.

All of the news people are ranting about the fact that GM built big vehicles when the public wanted small ones. Does anyone remember that a few years ago, the government SUBSIDIZED the sales of those vehicles?? I knew a few business owners back then that purchased the big GMC Tahoe's with terrible gas mileage and price around $50,000 and it was a complete write-off!! They were allowed to write-off up to $50,000!! Why would the government subsidize those large vehicles? Isn't subsidizing encouraging people to buy that product?

GM used to have 60% of the market share in America back in the 1970's. Now they barely have 20%. This, in my opinion, is a combination of poor management and once again, government intervention. Because of the size of GM, waste and all, they basically could not compete with the cheap foreign vehicles entering America back then, and the cost disadvantage was overcome through careful lobbying to provide barriers against excessive imports. Eventually the foreign car makers got around that by opening plants here in America.

Do you remember the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards instituted by the government? Since the American car companies tried to get around this by producing SUV's, which at the time were immune from the CAFE standards, they never really got into producing the more fuel efficient vehicles. Then in 2007, the government changed the CAFE standards that now included SUV's. If you regulate an industry, for whatever reason, and they don't follow the regulations and work out ways around it, then why regulate? And then, in the future, you BAIL THEM OUT, rewarding them for not following the rules and regulations.

Bottom line, the companies screwed up and maybe they deserve to go out of business. Once again, though, WORKERS ARE THE ONES TO SUFFER. The waste in the auto industry was downright criminal. I heard stories of Union workers being paid to sit at work and NOT DO ANY WORK! The waste of managers having vehicles for free, with free gasoline and insurance. There are probably thousands of such stories. Maybe a company like Ford, that as of this point has not taken any government money, can become a stronger, more efficient company and provide a good living wage for their workers. Maybe the 'weak and stupid' companies can be weeded out and stronger better run companies take over.

Neil Smith titled 'The Menace of Solved Problems' from the October 2008 Concealed Carry Magazine.

He makes many good points that the last thing politicians are interested in is solving the Country's problems. To bureaucrats and politicians, solved problems represent the direst threat imaginable to them -- permanent unemployment, an end to their ride on the government gravy train. What they want is LOTS OF PROBLEMS that they can promise to solve, and when they inevitably fail, they'll blame everybody but themselves, so we'll keep electing them.

Many of today's problems were carefully crafted by bureaucrats and politicians themselves. If, for instance, the city of Chicago (where the president started his political life) remains the danger-filled, crime-ridden sinkhole it is today, then its Mayor, Richard Daley has an excuse to keep tens of thousands of cops on the street. Having a private army like that must make a man feel like Napoleon. He can use the situation he helped create to acquire even more money and even more power every year. And he can generally lord it over the helpless, disarmed serfs and peons.

The same evil racket is being operated in many large cities. Thousands of innocent men, women and children go on being terrorized, injured and killed every year, cruelly sacrificed to feed the insatiable political ambitions of these people in charge, 'elected' to the office through bribery and lies. Concealed Carry brings down the crime rate because the criminal does not know who is carrying a gun. But if you limit access to guns, they know the law abiding citizen will follow the law and they'll be sitting ducks for the criminal to rob, terrorize or kill.

Now I see that Obama's minions are out to 'solve' the Mexico problem, by banning assault weapons in the U.S., because the terror and blood shed going on in Mexico today IS OUR FAULT! We are shipping illegal guns and money to Mexico to bolster the drug cartels! HOW CAN THEY SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE??? It's just one more way to try and get guns out of the hands of law-abiding Americans, using this lie.

Remember, POLITICIANS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PUBLIC SERVANTS!! They are supposed to work for our best interest, not theirs. But creating problems and pretending to solve them seems to work, as they keep getting re-elected, so they keep doing it. He promised 'change we can believe in' and the people responded and voted him in. But what kind of change are we to expect? I thought it would be a good change, such as keeping lobbyists out of the White House and keeping pork out of the bills he signs into law. Didn't happen.

Instead, he has 5 or 6 lobbyist's in the White House and he just signed a bill with close to or over 9,000 pork items.

Now comes the story of Obama hosting his first foreign leader, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. According to Arthur Herman, in an opinion piece published in the New York Post, it was a 'diplomatic disaster'. Many of our previous Presidents actually treated the foreign leaders with respect. CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.

Obama did not hold a joint press conference in the Rose Garden, which is the normal protocol when a President and British Prime Minister first meet. CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.

Instead of citing the decades old "special relationship" between the two countries, a White House spokesperson referred to a 'special partnership'. CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.

In the traditional gift exchange between the two leaders, Brown gave Obama a pen holder made from the timber of the first British ship to fight the slave trade, and a signed first edition of the classic 8-volume biography of Winston Churchill by Randolph Churchill and Sir Martin Gilbert. Obama's gift to Brown was a collection of DVD's of classic American films, including "Psycho," which are all available in British stores. CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.

Obama had earlier demonstrated his disdain for Churchill, ordering that the bust of Churchill that Prime Minister Tony Blair had presented to the United States after 9/11 be returned to the British Embassy. CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.

Also, author James Humes cited a report that when Obama first entered the Oval Office and saw the Churchill bust, he said "Get that goddam thing out of here." CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.

Arthur Herman wrote in the Post: "This was a stunning posthumous attack on the memory of a man who was not only the living embodiment of the Anglo-American special relationship (Churchill was half American), but of its ideological foundations. CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN.

Obama promised to change the world's perception of the United States, because according to Obama, Bush had the whole world hating us. The London Daily Telegraph stated: "Obama has been rudeness personified toward Britain." CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN???

Feeling 'young' , we try to conform to current fashions and present a youthful image.

Contrary to what you may have seen on the streets, the following combinations DO NOT go together and should be avoided:

1. A nose ring and bifocals
2. Spiked hair and bald spots
3. A pierced tongue and dentures
4. Miniskirts and support hose
5. Ankle bracelets and corn pads
6. Speedos and cellulite
7. A belly button ring and a gall bladder surgery scar
8. Unbuttoned disco shirts and a heart monitor
9. Midriff shirts and a midriff bulge
10. Bikinis and liver spots
11. Mini skirts and varicose veins
12. Inline skates and a zimmer

And, most importantly...at some point you have to give up the “DAISY DUKE” Shorts.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 226px; height: 149px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_GRYyqNwZCqo/SZcm2fEDb1I/AAAAAAAAAGw/QwhUs1SzOg0/s320/daisy+duke.com" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5302749803745341266" />

Or you may have a recurring sinus problem that appears to clear up, only to rear it's ugly head a few weeks or months later. There's a reason why it never really goes away and why over-the-counter decongestants and even antibiotics don't help long term. They tend to mask or suppress the problem, but the bacteria remains in your sinus cavities waiting for another incident such as a cold or allergies to set off the process all over again.

And with the overuse of antibiotics, super bugs such as the MRSA virus are becoming resistant or immune to antibiotics. If you take antibiotics when not necessary they may not work when you really need them. So it's a good idea to look into other alternatives for sinus problems, such as natural treatments.

If you have recurring colds, allergies and sinus problems, I recommend you read the following information on natural sinus treatment. In the upper left of the page you can register for their free course on sinus treatment.
