Telestream Offers First Fully Integrated Solution for YouTube Fingerprinting

Telestream, a leading provider of digital video workflow solutions, has announced the first solution which offers YouTube fingerprinting for both live and file-based workflows. Digital fingerprinting is a process that uniquely identifies video, making it easier for media companies to discover and track their video content which is uploaded to YouTube. Media companies are increasingly opting to partner with YouTube by claiming videos as their own, which results in the ability to share revenues with YouTube for advertising placed around their videos.

Matrox Announces Windows Drivers for Products Featuring Matrox MAX

E-on Software Releases Snow Leopard Compatibility for Vue Line

e-on software, the leader in Digital Nature solutions, has confirmed that it is actively developing Cocoa 64 bit versions of its key applications and announced that it will be releasing a Cocoa 64 bit beta version of Vue 8 in 2010.

"We are very happy with the release of Apple?s Snow Leopard. It?s a fantastic OS that already benefits our applications, even in 32 bit mode", said Nicholas Phelps, president of e-on software. "We are currently putting the finishing touches to our Cocoa 64 bit implementation of Vue, and are excited by the prospect of offering true 64 bit processing power to our Mac users! "

Vue 8 Infinite and Vue 8 xStream, the highly anticipated new versions of e-on software?s flagship solutions for the creation, animation and rendering of professional 3D environments, are scheduled for release during Q4, 2009.

Apple and e-on software?s engineers are working together to port and optimize Vue 8 for Cocoa 64 bit. E-on software will offer a beta version of Vue 8 for Cocoa 64 bit to all registered users of Vue 8 Infinite and xStream. Adobe Story Now Available on Adobe Labs

Blackmagic Design today announced DeckLink Studio, a new model capture card designed as a replacement for standard definition cards, with increased analog connectivity for older analog equipment as well as SDI/HD-SDI and HDMI connections for the latest cutting edge digital equipment. DeckLink Studio 2 replaces current model DeckLink Studio and adds 10 bit HDMI capture and playback for the same low price of $695.

DeckLink Studio features independent connections for SDI, HDMI, analog component, S-Video and composite video, so all types of external video equipment can remain connected without re-cabling. DeckLink Studio also includes SDI and HDMI connections that switch between SD and HD, as well as an SD only output that always outputs via a built in hardware down converter even when running in HD. The SD down converted output is great when you need to monitor your work in both SD and HD at the same time. No other product has a built in high quality hardware down converter at this low price point.

The built in 10 bit hardware down converter is selectable between letterbox, anamorphic 16:9 and center cut 4:3 modes, and operates when running in all HD video formats as well as in capture and playback modes. Embedded SDI audio is supported via the hardware down converter and output on the SDI output. When running HD video formats, both S-Video and composite video are output from the down converter so video is always present, independent of what video standard is used.

Because DeckLink Studio is designed for creative professionals who have many generations of broadcast video equipment, it includes greater audio connectivity for when customers need to use older broadcast decks such as Betacam SP. DeckLink Studio 2 includes 4 channels of balanced analog audio, as well as 2 channels of AES/EBU digital audio. Blackmagic Design Releases Support for Mac OS X Snow Leopard

Blackmagic Design Inc. has released a new software installer for its Multibridge, DeckLink and Intensity products that adds full support for the new Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. This new software release also includes support for the highly popular editing solution, Final Cut Studio 3.

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard enables Blackmagic Design customers to migrate to the next generation of 64-bit processing for the Mac. This new software provides a smoother and more fluid experience that editors and compositors using Blackmagic Design products will love.
