I would like to present the newest member to our little family; Amazing Tails Sing for the Moment, or Felix as we shall be calling him on a daily basis. Felix was born on March 12th in a litter with three other males, and he's a long coat chihuahua in the color cream. I've wished for a dog from this specific breeder for a little more than three years now, but there's always been something in the way of adopting one of her pups - until now! His sire is the infamous Multi CH Guichon's My Name Is No No Bad Boy, and his dam the lovely Lilleengels Born for Amazing Tails. So I'm anxious to see how he'll turn out as he develops into a full-grown male, although I hope he'll stay a pup for a long time.

Felix hasn't been her for a whole day yet, so I don't know him very well yet. He's immensely trusting, confident and pretty courageous! It didn't take long before he settled in, drinking and eating, sleeping and playing with our two other ones. At first I was a little afraid of what Theo would say about this new little creature in his pack, but oddly he seems to have taken the role of some kind of father figure? He checks on him while he sleeps, and as we speak he's whining because Felix has turned in for the night.

Thank you so much, Heidi, for trusting us with this little baby boy! It means the world to me.

If you follow me on Twitter you might recall a certain tweet saying something about a bank account full of money, and no plan whatsoever on how to spend them as quickly as possible? I never plan on spending my money, it just happens. This month is completely different though. I don't have anything special on my must-have list of materialistic bullshit, and I don't really feel like going on an online shopping rampage. You'd think I'd be sick, but strangely enough I feel perfectly fine. Must have been my luxury haul from last month, it fulfilled my needs alright! But then I had this genius idea; why not take a spontaneous trip to Make Up Store? Uh-oh.

As I might have mentioned before, I know I have on Twitter, I haven't been a very big fan of MUS eyeshadows. No particular reason really, I have just preferred other brands. I've now come to realize that I've been trying the wrong colors! I purchased «Brown Sugar» when I had a gift card to spend at KICKS, and I've used it pretty much every day since. I use it as an all over lid color, a transition color, or a highlight - and I adore it, it's perfect on my skin tone. I remembered having some MUS eyeshadows in a box somewhere, and as I went through it I found a brand new cybershadow in the color «Rumble». A hideous color in the pan, but when I swatched it I couldn't believe my eyes! Why on Earth had I put this shade in a box to forget? And the texture? Hello! I also have a few microshadows in «Choco d'Or» and «Jubilee», which I love with all my heart - in addition to «Pollution», a matte black. With this sudden epiphany I decided to take a quick trip to Make Up Store to see if I could maybe brighten my day with something colorful.

The Haul

Buzzer · Starfish · Aquarius · Varieté · Metallic Wave

Even though I still have to bring my own ramp to be able to access Make Up Store (while I wait for the final decision to be made by the bosses), I have to praise them for their setup in-store. All their testers are attached to the shelves with velcro, making it easy enough to have someone hand me whatever shade I'd like to swatch before making up my mind on which colors to choose. On Tuesday I went in with one agenda: to purchase something blue, and.. mission accomplished! I picked out two cybershadows in «Buzzer» and «Metallic Wave», and three microshadows in «Starfish», «Aquarius» and «Varieté».

«Starfish» isn't a shade I'd typically choose, but anything reminding me of either a sunrise or a sunset is a winner in my opinion. It's a.. light orange with a beautiful golden sheen. Warm, but yet citrusy and refreshing. I have no idea what I'm doing when I'm describing colors, I'm just trying to put my thoughts into words. Unfortunately I don't have the faintest idea to what I'd pair it with, but it was too damn gorgeous to leave behind. And believe me when I say it looks a lot less boring swatched than it does in the pan! The rest of the bunch all made me think of the ocean, mermaids and most things wet, and they totally put me in the mood for summer.

Awesome Performance · Violet Storm · Romantic Garden

I've been having this steamy love affair with these pencils since I bought my first one earlier this year, and I've managed to accumulate 17 of them already. Oh dear, that's 3.4 pencils a month. I guess it's safe to say that I have every color I could ever desire, but I was really missing a purple liner. I have been wearing these pencils in some way or another almost every single day for the last couple of months, and I love them. Did I say that I love them? I love them! As said I was lacking a purple one, if you disregard «Go Wild», which is too light to use for anything else than highlighting the inner corner and tear duct. So I swatched all four available purple shades on the back of my hand, and chose two; «Awesome Performance» and «Violet Storm». The first one is a matt, but I would call it anything but. Granted it might look a little dull when you first see it, but when the light hits this liner it's plain out gorgeous! A perfect alternative to the regular black eyeliner. The latter is a lighter, more vibrant purple. Equally gorgeous. The third new addition was «Romantic Garden», a bright metallic lime green! In the sunlight it seems to have multicolored sparkles, but I don't think it'll be visible on the eye. A seriously fresh color, which actually makes my mouth a little watery!

Treatment Toner

Lastly I finally bought myself a toner, the Treatment Toner. I'm turning 32 this late summer, and I've never had a skin care routine. Ever. Too much hassle. I've finally found a moisturizer which suits me, and works for my skin, so I figured I'd add a toner to my non-existing routine!

I've developed this nasty habit of forgetting something when I go shopping at Make Up Store, and this time I totally forgot about the microshadow in «Velvet». I've been meaning to buy this color for a while now, but there's always something else capturing my interest, making me forget what I originally had my heart set on. Frustrating. Oh well, next time it is then. And I finally got my tube of MUS Multi Lash Mascara!

Would you look at that, I've done another look! The truth is that I've done several looks since the last one I posted, but they haven't been all that special - or I haven't managed to get a decent photo. Lighting sucks! I know I'm super critical of my own work, but I'm not very pleased with the lighting in this photo, or my brows for that matter. I think I might have been experiencing a 'bad brow day', if there's even such a thing. Since I've been a bit overly enthusiastic when plucking them lately, I've been trying to let them grow back a little. Hence the messiness. The photo is taken outside in daylight, no flash. And as you might notice I've decided to try out a new kind of layout for my EOTD posts, so please let me know what you think of it.

Products

→ MUS Eye Primer in Clear
→ RBR Bohemian Waxwing (all over lid)
→ RBR Abyssinian Catbird (outer corner, crease and lower lash line)
→ MUS Wooden Metal (waterline)
→ Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner in Black (tightline)
→ Max Factor Xperience Volumizing Mascara
→ M·A·C Eye Brows in Spiked
→ Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush
→ M·A·C 239 Eye Shader Brush

Walkthrough

I started off by filling in my eyebrows as usual. I've been using M·A·C Eye Brows in «Lingering» for a week now (for a softer look), so when I went back to «Spiked» I felt a little out of practice and I wasn't really pleased with the outcome. Trying to ignore my brows I then primed both my eyelids with my MUS Eye Primer, all over the lid and up to the brow. I also applied a little bit below my eye since I was planning on wearing one of my precious MUS pencils. I wanted to try out my new «Bohemian Waxwing» and applied it all over my lid using a Real Techniques Deluxe Crease brush, before adding «Abyssinian Catbird» to the outer third of the lid, blending it slightly into the crease with the same brush. To venture a few steps out of my comfort zone I decided to apply a little bit of Abyssinian Catbird under the lower lash line with a M·A·C 239 brush, and then MUS Wooden Metal to my waterline (smudged slightly into the lower lashes). Since I'm a huge fan of tightlining I used my black Avon SuperShock for the illusion of fuller lashes, and finished it off by curling my lashes and adding a coat of my favorite mascara.

The funny thing about these eyeshadows from Rouge Bunny Rouge is that at least one of them seem to be duochrome? Swatched they both appear somewhat brown to me. «Bohemian Waxwing» is a bronzed champagne, while «Abyssinian Catbird» is a metallic bronze according to their official descriptions. «Abyssinian Catbird» looks both brown and green on my skin, so it's actually quite hard to describe it - and the complete look actually changed into purple in a certain light! So odd, and quite awesome. These shades were so soft and easy to work with, and I'm contemplating getting a few more despite of the price tag of £16 a piece (refill).

What do you think of the new setup?

Speaking of IsaDora and their #wonderfulwednesday; I was actually one of the winners in their twitter contest last Wednesday! Mr. Postman dropped it off yesterday, and when I ripped open the bubble mailer I found a lipstick, a gloss and a lip liner inside - one of the two lip sets from their new upcoming summer 2012 collection Papagayo.

Perfect Moisture Lipstick in 163 Coral Glow

Moisturizing Lip Gloss in 14 Coral Glow

Perfect Lipliner in 32 Mandarine

I love the colors of these three products, and I'm so grateful that they sent me the Coral Glow as opposed to Tropical Pink! I'm not too big on pink, but corals on the other hand are usually love at first sight with me, and this was no exception. Now if only the sun could come out from behind the clouds and grant us with some warmth, and spring would decide come along and stick around before magically transforming into summer!

A great big thanks to @isadoraglobal for having these contest for their followers!

Want to see swatches?
Sanna over at Purity has some awesome swatches of the lipstick, gloss and lipliner - and what Sanna does so good, I'm not going to attempt to recreate.

And if you're keen on exploring the rest of this collection, well then.. take a look here.

In the beginning of May I participated in @isadoraglobal's #wonderfulwednesday Twitter contest, where the main prize was a blush. Unfortunately I didn't win, but they were super nice and sent me a little surprise anyway - which arrived in my mailbox today. I eagerly ripped open the bubble mailer, and inside I found this gorgeous nail polish: 731 Silver Sky. I'm not overly skilled in describing colors, but I'd say it's a dusty pastel grayish blue bursting with silver sparkles. I don't know how to explain it, but to me it's such a dreamy color and just looking at it makes me smile. 731 Silver Sky was released with Pearls of Passion this spring, and is one of IsaDora's new colors.

I haven't gotten around to trying it out yet, but I do really like IsaDora Wonder Nails and have quite a few in my collection already. I'll add a photo when I've found myself a functioning base coat (and a good portion of patience), I promise! Gorgeous color, don't you think?

The last couple of weeks I've almost been constantly refreshing my wonderful little dashboard app called "Delivery Status" by Junecloud. It's an app where I can add tracking for everything I've ordered, and it'll instantly show me where my packages are, and sometimes also when they'll arrive (depending on the courier). This app works best for any courier service like UPS, DHL, FedEx - but I use it for anything traceable from USPS, Posten Norge, Royal Mail and which ever else postal service I'm expecting a delivery from. Anyway, let's get back on track, shall we? I've been loving this app lately because I've been shopping vigorously at Nordstrom, one of my all-time favorite online stores in the US (and a phenomenal substitute now that Sephora's being ridiculous).

As I recently wrote in a comment for a fellow blogger, I don't know what has happened to me! I used to be someone who couldn't give a rat's ass about brands and designers, who would leave home without any makeup on and not be self-conscious about it at all. Now I have these odd cravings for expensive and exclusive bits and bobs, I suddenly prefer some designers over others, and I cannot leave the apartment without at least doing my eyebrows first. Dior has become one of my favorites among the more luxurious brands, from which I have accumulated a nice little collection of products. When the new Summer 2012 collection Croisette was released it strangely didn't appeal to me at all. Had I been a little intelligent I would have stayed away, but I had to watch a video by RAEview that really sparked an interest. Or more like an obsession.. I think the main reason might have been that Rae's colors are similar to mine, and all the products she used in her tutorial looked amazing on her.

'Le Croisette' 654 Aurora reviewed and swatched here, courtesy of FruityLashes.

I don't really like the relief in these Croisette quints, but the colors in «Aurora» was too pretty to pass up. Maybe it's because I'm a Leo, a late summer child, or maybe it's simply because it makes me think of fire. I knew I had to have it, and I'm quite sure it'll look smashing on me - as it did on Rae. With this collection Dior also released new editions of the Diorskin Nude Tan powders, some of you might already know «Aurora» and «Sunset» from Summer 2011. Now, I have no idea what to call them. Dior.com has one name (Diorskin Nude Tan Natural Radiance Colour & Glow Powder), Nordstrom has another name for them (Diorskin 'Healthy Glow' Enhancing Powder Bronzer), and in Sweden they have a third name (Diorskin Nude Tan Bloom Powder). Frustrating much? I chose 002 «Sunlight» because it looked most suiting for me, to be used as both a light bronzer and a blush.

The two last items I chose from this collection was the Diorshow Waterproof Liner, which I've never tried before, and another Addict lipstick. Both colors perfect for summer! The liner is the same robin's egg blue as the gorgeous Dior Vernis 401 St. Tropez, which I hunted down in Paris last summer - rereleased with Dior Croisette. I'm a little unsure of how I feel about the Diorshow Liner as I've heard both good and bad things about these liners, but Rae mentioned it was different from the older ones, a new formulation. And the lipstick? Just another gorgeous orange coral. I was a little bit sad to find that mine had a nick from production, but it'll be gone after a few uses.

Guerlain by Emilio Pucci Terra Azzurra

'Terra Azzurra' Powder Bronzer and Blush

'Terra Azzurra Terracotta' Khôl Kajal Eyeliner: 02 Blu Acqua

'Terra Azzurra' Powder Brush

Now here's where you can picture me looking into the ground while I stir my foot around in the gravel. Yes, I am ashamed. I'm ashamed for getting myself tricked into this collection. I have no one to blame but myself, but when I saw Karla mention this collection on Twitter I was completely and utterly sold. Instantly! The main piece in the Guerlain by Emilio Pucci is said to be the Terra Azzurra bronzer/blush, and I have no problem understanding why. It's immensely gorgeous! So sophisticated, and yet another piece I can't see myself using - just admiring, swooning over, every once in a while. Insane, I know. The colors of the blush are meant to be used together, as the stripes are too narrow to use alone, and the compact is made of dark wood. It feels heavy in my hand, it was a pleasant scent to it (tahitian Tiare flower, a sub-sort of Gardenia) - a truly luxurious item, a crown jewel to any collection.

Terra Azzurra Bronzer/Blush reviewed and swatched here, courtesy of Temptalia.

The Terra Azzurra Powder Brush is a special, limited edition of the Guerlain 'Meteorites' Brush with pink bristles, only colored to match the rest of the collection - a gorgeous midnight blue kabuki-style brush. It feels a bit stiff, so I'm not sure whether or not I'll be using it on my face, and I saw someone mentioning that it bled quite a bit of dye even after a few washes. I didn't purchase the Terra Azzurra Pearls d'Azur Meteorites, which this brush is meant to be used with, but I thought I'd use it with my 'Meteorites' compact instead. After reading a lot of reviews I've come to understand that most people have a love/hate relationship with the Guerlain 'Meteorites' Pearls due to their shimmery effect. I'm shiny enough as it is, and don't want to add additional shimmer to my face.

The Khôl Kajal Eyeliner has tickled my curiosity ever since I first saw it, and it's meant to be worn on the waterline. The one thing that sold me on this kajal was how Karla said she's heard it goes on indigo blue on some, and blue-purple on others. I'm so intrigued! Seeing as it's Guerlain it has a pretty stiff price tag, and is available in two colors: the original black, and this limited edition Blu Acqua.

.. and everything else!

Guerlain 'Meteorites' Illuminating & Mattifying Pressed Powder: 03 Teint Doré

Chanel Poudre Univerelle Libre Natural Finish Loose Powder: 040 Doré

Along with my sudden urge for luxury and exclusivity I've developed an unhealthy interest for face powders, and I've been researching different brands for a while now to find something suitable for my skin. I ended up with two interesting powders on my list. One was the Guerlain 'Meteorites' Illumination & Mattifying Pressed Powder, which has received good reviews as far as I have found. The main reason why I ended up choosing this powder was the fact that it's pressed, but also because I wanted to try out the Meteorites concept without having to choose the actual (shimmery) pearls. It has a rather interesting floral scent, of violets apparently, which might turn out to be sickening. We'll just have to see, I don't really feel like walking around smelling like an old lady just yet. The Guerlain 'Meteorites' Illumination & Mattifying Pressed Powder comes in three different shades, and after going back and forth for a while I went with 03 Teint Doré for golden complexions. From reviews I've seen people experiencing oxidation with 02 Teint Beige, I have no idea if it's an issue with all three shades. The only thing I found a little disappointing was how this compact feels really light and cheap. It's clearly made of plastic as opposed to metal, and while I understand it's a somewhat cheaper edition of the original 'Meteorites' I still feel a little cheated.

The second powder was the Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish Loose Powder, recommended to me by several people. I'm curious about this powder indeed, but I feel a little turned off by the fact that it's loose. We'll see, the way people speak of this powder it must be something angelic about it. There are four shades available in the US, even though it's said to be transparent, so I chose 03 Doré - again for golden complexions. I've never been a sucker for Chanel packaging, but I really like the heavy feel of the frosted jar this product comes in - I do wish it would have been glass instead of plastic, but that's just a matter of personal preference. It contains the stunning amount of 30 grams, so it'll last me a lifetime for sure. I've heard it's supposed to be rose-scented, but I'm unable detect any scent at all.

I'm in (or possibly at) Sunndalsøra as we speak, where we're attending our first dog show of 2012. It feels so good to be showing, and seeing all our dog friends again! Since Cuda has been degraded to family mascot, he's just along for the ride and the social training of the whole ordeal.

Day 1

Theo, our little star, proved himself in the show ring today - despite the cold, wet and windy weather. I didn't sleep very well last night, so it was quite painful to be up and about before 10 AM. But who on Earth cares when my little fuzzball made me so proud? He received EXL1 CK BHK4, which basically means that he was awarded a red ribbon for excellent quality and placed first in his class, received CK or «champion quality» - and the CK let him compete for the Best Male title, where he came in fourth. An experienced shower might not be too pleased with results like these, but I'm still an amateur and I was smiling from ear to ear when I saw the judge handing him the EXL ribbon. I would have been pleased with nothing more! In addition, his critique was really nice.

Maskulin hann. Meget god type. Herlig hode + uttrykk. God hals og overlinje. Velansatt hale. Normalt vinklet. Velkroppet, utmerket pels. Beveger seg bra.

April 28th, 2012 · Judge: Anne-Mari Haugsten, Norway

I've added a photo taken today, and a photo from the same period last year. You see? Spring is late, and the weather is awful, almost like in fall. Anyway, Trædal Hotell & Turistsenter is a wonderful place to stay, and it's even better now that we have our own «little» caravan to live in. I brought my trustworthy MacBook Air, the dogs are peaceful and my fiancé is making dinner by my side. Seriously cosy! Speaking of the caravan.. you know how I told you it needed a few adjustments? Well, our dealer was supposed to fix a couple of things for us, like «making» a bench where I can take a shower and wash my hair while on a camping trip and everything seemed to be working out fine. Unfortunately he was unable to meet our requirements, and we had to start looking for someone else to do the job. I seriously can't go on a longer trip without being able to clean myself up? It seemed quite an impossible task, but after a few phone calls and thanks to a good tip Øyvind found a place called Berg Karosserifabrikk, right here in Trondheim. He spoke with the manager, who sounded very optimistic, and our caravan was driven up from Ålesund (where it's been since November 2011) last Wednesday. Øyvind went there to meet with Berg Karosserifabrikk, explained what we were looking for, what we needed, and the manager was going to look into it. We made arrangements to come pick up the caravan on Friday - only two days later - before leaving for Sunndalsøra, and when Øyvind unlocked the door he was taken completely by surprise. Berg Karosserifabrikk had already finished the job! And done such an excellent job too! It's certainly more than I could have hoped for, and I finally feel like the caravan is really ours - and perfect, just perfect. So an enormous thanks to Berg Karosserifabrikk, you guys are awesome!

We spent the evening with most of the others, having dinner, talking and just enjoying ourselves. Spending time with everyone is one of my favorite things with these weekends, and I have to admit I'm really looking forward to our next dog show. It's so much more social now that we have a caravan, and don't have to drive back and forth on the same day - or check into some expensive hotel if we want to stay with the others. Next show is in the end of June!

Day 2

As you might understand I'm not in Sunndalsøra anymore, but since a portion of this post was written while it was pouring down outside and I had nothing else to do, I decided to finish it off now that I'm back home. So here goes! On Sunday we had to meet at the show ring at 9 AM, and thankfully the weather gods had decided to grant us some blue skies and the sun! It was still a little chilly, but so much better than the day before, and Theo seemed to be thriving. We stood before a new judge, Siv Jernhake, and I was nervous like crazy just like I always am when I don't know how the judge will like my little fuzzball. I almost squealed out loud (I definitely squealed on the inside) when Theo received a red ribbon for excellent quality, and it was some nerve wrecking minutes before she ended up awarding the other male with a second red ribbon, placing him 1st. When Øyvind left the show ring he told me what the judge had said, and she was really going back and forth between the two males before deciding. She praised Theo up and beyond, but since he's lacking a little on the roundness of the skull, and also might be considered to have a longer nose than desired (to me a longer nose equals a healthy dog without any issues with its eyes or teeth), she chose the other male - which is quite OK as we know these are a few of his weaknesses. I was really happy with the EXC, as well as with the positive feedback from the judge! And honestly? This weekend couldn't have been any better!

En trivelig hanne av utmerket størrelse. Kunne hatt mere rund skalle og noe kortere nese. Bra bitt. Fine ører. Bra rygg og brystkasse. Velvinklet. Vakker hale og gode bevegelser.

April 29th, 2012 · Judge: Siv Jernhake, Sweden

I kinda wish we could have stayed one more day, but Øyvind was supposed to work on Monday. Not only because of the beautiful weather, but also so we could have socialized a little more with the others who stayed behind for a few more days (since May 1st is a holiday in Norway). We had a wonderful time with everyone, and I cannot explain how much I appreciate these social gatherings. They kinda make my.. month(s).

Yesterday Mr. Postman stopped by with another package from Britique, my fourth order from them, this one ordered during Easter. It contained a gorgeous blush, M·A·C Modern Mandarin from Trés Cheek, which was a gift from my sweet fiancé! During Easter Britique offered a coupon code for a goodie bag worth 179,- NOK or about $30 with any order over 100,- NOK, which I chose to take advantage of since I was already placing the order. And I'm very pleased indeed with the two items I received for free: M·A·C Vestral White Nail Polish from Hello Kitty, and Dermalogica® Clean Start™ Smart Mouth Lip Shine.

I had somehow «forgotten» about the one item I purchased from The Swatchaholic when she had her blog sale a few weeks back. It also arrived yesterday as a super exciting surprise, and I can finally call myself a proud (and very happy) owner of M·A·C Rose Blanc eyeshadow, a shade I've been wanting since I started collecting M·A·C in 2009. Such a gorgeous highlight! And once again I've added a little gem to my collection. A big thanks to Jeanette!

Since I didn't have too much money to spend on superficial pleasures as makeup this month, my Make Up Store splurge was enough, I'm not expecting much more in the mail the following weeks. I have no idea how I'll survive, these visits from Mr. Postman make my day so much brighter, but I guess I'll have to make do. Not to lie, I will be receiving three more packages: some magnets ordered off eBay for depotting the rest of my M·A·C eyeshadows, a brush from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, and two of the eyeshadows from M·A·C In Extra Dimension, namely Grand Galaxy (dirty mid-tone violet) and Modern Pewter (dirty olive gold). I wasn't planning on getting any of these new powder-liquid formula products, but after realizing how much praise this collection received upon launching I changed my mind. At least I didn't give in to any of the other «special» products from M·A·C Big Bounce, Metal-X or even the Mega Metal ones I really wanted, so I don't really feel bad for caving in this time.

Here are my swatches of all the MUS Eyepencils that I own (so far), as promised. I'm no champ when it comes to swatching, so bear with me - and just pretend like my tattoo isn't even there. These are quite heavy swatches, and are photographed under artificial lighting. To me some of the colors look different in real life, but my fiancé disagrees? I'm also unable to capture the sparkles in «Czar», «Duchess» and «Golden Days», but it's there alright! These three are the only ones in the bunch that aren't safe for use inside the eye.

1. Czar
2. Gold Digger
3. Golden Days
4. Wooden Metal
5. Emerald
6. Duchess
7. Copacabana
8. Water Spring
9. Wave
10. Deep Blue Sea
11. Seduced by the Night
12. Dusty Smoke
13. Darkest Shadow
14. Go Wild

In my swatches «Wooden Metal» and «Emerald» look pretty much the same (yet different) to me, but they look quite different on my hand. I don't think they are too much alike to skip either, especially not if you love greens like I do. «Duchess», «Copacabana» and «Water Spring» also look very similar in the photo, but in addition to the sparkle in Duchess they all have different finishes. If it's enough to skip one or two would have to be up to you, «Duchess» is an obvious choice, while «Copacabana» and «Water Spring» are different shades of the same color. I think all three are gorgeous! «Go Wild» looks a lot lighter in real life, but I picked it up to use it as a tear duct highlight (for whenever I do one of my purple looks).

«Seduced by the Night» is a gorgeous brown with quite a lot of life to it, «Darkest Shadow» is a matte black, and «Dusty Smoke» is a very nice grey with a tiny little hint of purple to it? I love using it just below my lower lashes. «Deep Blue Sea» is another one of my newest additions, and the color is simply to die for. I'll be using this one instead of a black liner whenever I feel the need to change things up a bit.

My favorites?
I absolutely love them all.

As I've mentioned before I'm currently having a passionate love affair with these gorgeous pencils from Make Up Store. I love them. With all my heart and all my soul. And I have this urge to own them all. So when I went to Make Up Store today, originally to pick up the foundation Maria used for my makeup lesson in March, I just had to take another look at their wonderful selection of pencils - with the three new ones Maria mentioned especially in mind. I swatched eight pencils, fell in love with quite a few, and ended up bringing five new pencils with me home. I wish I would have purchased one of the purple ones as well - I've been eyeing it every time I've been to Make Up Store - but somehow it manages to escape me every time. And I cannot, for the life of me, remember its name. Bah! «Emerald», «Wave» and «Water Spring» are all brand new colors, not even mentioned on their website yet. «Emerald» is quite similar to my beloved «Wooden Metal» (used here), but deeper, darker and a little cooler in color. I might not have needed both, but to me they look too different to be able to choose one over the other. «Wave» is what I would call a true blue, reminding me of the ocean, while «Water Spring» is a lighter version of «Duchess» and «Copacabana». «Deep Blue Sea» is another pencil I've been eyeing for a while, and I have no idea how to even explain this color. It's a dark blurple, soft matt. So gorgeous! For some reason it makes me think of a starry night. Like that soft, dark embrace that night is. «Seduced by the Night» was recommended to me by the amazing and talented KillerColours, and it's the perfect substitute for an ordinary black. I don't own M·A·C Teddy Eye Kohl myself, but I can imagine MUS «Seduced by the Night» being its equivalent. It's a matt, but it's not a flat brown and boring brown. An excellent addition to my collection of colorful pencils.

Now, I didn't get the two base products mentioned earlier, but the Matt Foundation - still in the color Olive (perfect match) - and the transparent Blothing Powder, for those warm summer days when my face goes ridiculously shiny within minutes. The reason why I didn't get the one I originally wanted, was that it's oil-based and I felt like I went shiny a little too quickly when I had it on. I loved how it looked though, topped with the Dual Foundation as a setting powder, but I'm fairly sure the Matt Foundation will do the same job. It doesn't need setting, which means less hassle for me, and it's water-based. I'm really looking forward to trying it out, and I hope this will make me ease into wearing foundation every once in a while.
