This week both Dottie Lux and Leigh Crow will host individual shows at Red Hots Burlesque at El Rio in San Francisco!

Wednesday, Dottie Lux will emcee a show with Dixie DeLish, Roxy Reve, Uni and her Ukelele, and more!

On Thursday, Leigh Crow will host a show featuring performances by La Chica Boom, Babraham Lincoln, Nomy Lamm, and Pickles Kintaro!

Plus Red Hots Burlesque School of Shimmy will be some new classes! Conquering the stiletto with Truvy Trollop! Bringing Sexy Back! These and other classes start on August 4th. See below for more information.

Dixie DeLish the “Burlesque OutLaw”, is a bright new star of the San Francisco Burlesque scene. She first started in 2009 and has become a regular featured performer in the Bay Area. Among various shows, she is a continuous lead performer at the Hubba Hubba Revue’s monthly show Cabaret Perilous. She just performed at the 2012 Tease O Rama Burlesque Festival, and has also graced the stage multiple times at Red Hots Burlesque, First Friday Follies, Club Delux, and Kinky Salon. Jon Secada, Andrea Marcovicci, Trini Lopez...and Fishnet Follies! Many world famous performers will be at the Rrazz Room at the Nikko Hotel in San Francisco this year, and Fishnet Follies will be there this Friday,, July 20!

Led by Mynx d'Meanor in Northern California and Flame Cynders in Southern California, Fishnet Follies has been providing Hollywood glamour and Las Vegas showgirl sparkle to burlesque shows for years.

This Friday, they'll be bringing some local favorites and some talent from Los Angeles! Vienna La Rouge, Bunny Pistol, bellydancer Shabnam, Mynx d'Meanor, and Fishnet Follies Chorus Girls will be performing, as will Cici Stiletto and Jessabelle Thunder from Los Angeles! Doctor Who tribute at First Friday Follies tonight at Oakland's Stork Club

Fire up your TARDIS and defend against the Daleks! It's Doctor Who tribute night at First Friday Follies at the Stork Club tonight! And it is a free show!

Dottie Lux, Ophelia Coeur de Noir, Shadow Circus Creature Theatre, The Empress, Magnoliah Black, Bella Trixx, Kitty Von Quim, and more will tickle your British sci-fi lovin' heart! Musical guests will be the Horrorscopes!

So get on down to the Stork Club in Oakland, which is located at 2330 Telegraph Avenue (map). The show is scheduled for a 9:30 p.m. start, but get there early to find a good spot to see the show. And it is a free show, but donations are always welcome.

It's the 4th of July holiday, and there will be a Red Hots Burlesque show tonight! And to round out the week, there will be a Go Deep lube wrestling show on Thursday night and the second Red Hots show on Friday evening! All events will be at El Rio in San Francisco!

So celebrate the holiday with Red Hots and their performers this week, including Kiss Me Kate, Reecy Pontiff, Hella Kitty, and Elyse Elaine tonight, and Patricia Misery, Nicki Sparxx, Ada Lavendar, Last Night's Fling, Minnie Cupcakes, and Dixie DeLish on Friday! RHB's Dottie Lux will host both shows, with a special 4th of July co-host Dave Clay tonight!

El Rio is located at 3158 Mission Street in San Francisco (map). Both shows on Wednesday and Friday evenings start at 7:30 p.m., though you may want to get there early to get a seat, or you may reserve a spot by emailing redhotsburlesque@gmail.com so you don't miss out! Entry to the shows is on a sliding scale from $5.00 to $10.00.

About our featured performer:
Dixie DeLish the “Burlesque OutLaw”, is a bright new star of the San Francisco Burlesque scene. She first started in 2009 and has become a regular featured performer in the Bay Area. Among various shows, she is a continuous lead performer at the Hubba Hubba Revue’s monthly show Cabaret Perilous. She just performed at the 2012 Tease O Rama Burlesque Festival, and has also graced the stage multiple times at Red Hots Burlesque, First Friday Follies, Club Delux, and Kinky Salon. She is also an annual performer at the Lagunitas Beer Circus. Dixie DeLish has extensive training by various burlesque artists including Kellita of the Hot Pink Feathers, Molotov, Ava Garter, Alotta Boutte, Dirty Martini, and World Famous Bob just to name a few. Dixie has a deep seated love of Burlesque, and aspires become a major player in the burlesque world though both performance and instruction. Dixie DeLish is “The Down-home Deep-Fried burlesque beauty with with Sass, Class, and an Ass that can’t be missed”!

About our debuts:
Born right here in San Francisco and raised in Oregon, Circus and comedy have always been a driving force in Dave Clay's life. He began performing in high school as a street performer and has never stopped. Gracing stages across the country, he has been featured at the Cleveland Playhouse Square, Comedy Works, The Kennedy Center and The New Victory Theater in New York. Currently Dave tours nationally with the critically acclaimed "Squirm Burpee", produced by the Handsome Little Devils.

A Blond and Brunette, and a Redhead- This triple threat trio will tease you till the end. Known for their Flirtatious, Glamorous, Funky, and sometimes Gruesome Style they’ll make you remember why burlesque Rocks! The original members of Last Night’s Fing; Dixie DeLish, Penny Lux, and Siren Sapphire, will entertain, delight, and shock you with their tantalizing playfulness. Occasionally they have been known to have guest performers join their routines for a surprise cameo. Among these, performers have been Tricky Dicky von Finestein, Johnny Crash, and Cupcake. They are regular performers in the Bay Area for the Hubba Hubba Revue, First Friday Follies, and Kinky Salon.

Reecy Pontiff has been on the stage from a very young age. In her late teens she discovered that if she infused her songs with humor, she could turn angst in audience hilarity, and has spent the past 10 years honing that craft, most recently on the ukulele. She entered into the vibrant New Orleans burlesque scene two years ago, and since then has been involved as MC and musical guest in 30+ burlesque and cabaret shows, such as Slow Burn Burlesque, the Storyville Starlettes, Bella Blue's Burlesque 101, Queerlesque and more. Last summer she earned her beer money by serenading the Germans with "Jailhouse Rock" on the streets of Berlin. She also produced the Cocksure Cabaret -- wherein she portrayed Elvis Presley -- and most recently the Tommygun Wedding, in which a couple were legally married live and on-stage by a dancer as the closing act for the show. Reecy is currently on an extended tour of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Her new album, "The Fabulous Sideshow Apocalypse" is available on iTunes. This month, the hostess will be Alotta Boutté, the burlesque perfomers will include Dottie Lux and Elyse Elaine, and the wrestlers will include participants from The Lusty Lady, Thrillpeddlers, Team in Training, and perhaps you! Giant Creative Services, A-Town Agency, and Bunny Pistol will be bringing a sexy evening of music, dancing, and merriment to the Landmark Ballroom at the San Jose Women's Club this Saturday evening.

There will be performances by Bay Area burlesque luminaries Sid Scenic, Sparkly Devil, Lady Satan, Vienna La Rouge, and Bunny Pistol! In addition to the burlesque, there will be live music from Smiths tribute band This Charming Band! It will be an 80s New Wave and rockabilly-themed night, so dressing appropriately is encouraged!

The Bay Area's own Rubenesque Burlesque have been selected to perform at the Toronto Burlesque Festival this July, but they could use your assistance to for airfare to get the troupe to Toronto and back!

They've set up an Indiegogo site to aid in this effort. Simply go there or to www.rubenesqueburlesque.com to contribute to their fund!

Once there, you'll notice that there are various levels at which you can contribute. For example, for a $10.00 contribution, you may get free entry to a Red Hots Burlesque show at El Rio in San Francisco! That's quite the deal. Not only do you get a show, but you help some performers get to Canada. Other perks include signed photos, baked goods, a date with the troupe, and more at advanced levels.

But any amount will help! They're trying to raise $10,000, so even if you can only contribute a $1, that will put them a buck closer to their goal of getting to Toronto.

But be sure to contribute before the campaign ends this Tuesday, June 26!

Rubenesque Burlesque has been entertaining, insipiring, and informing audiences since 2007. Led by Juicy D. If you're headed out to the SF Pride Parade on Sunday, June 24, be on the lookout for the Hot Pink Feathers! They'll be #143 (processed for the parade with the Berkeley Free Clinic) in the parade, and they'll start out in area K - Beale between Market and Mission Streets.

If you're so inclined, you can say hi and meet the Feathers before the parade. They should be at the aforementioned starting location until about 11 a.m, when they'll think they'll start to move. The parade itself starts at 10:30 a.m., and it'll be on Market Street between Beale and 8th Street. You may find a map of the route at sfpride.org/parade/route.html.

It's the week of SF Pride, and Red Hots Burlesque is celebrating at their two shows and including some RHB debut performances at El Rio on Wednesday and Friday!

This Wednesday, June 20, the show will include RHB debut performances from Mojo DeVille and Sugar Lee! The show will be hosted by Dottie Lux, and will also include featured performer of June Bunny Pistol and the multitalented Alotta Boutté!

On Friday, June 22, the host will be the fantastic and inimitable Scotty the Blue Bunny! The show will include performances from Andi Stardust, Ava Lanche, Oleander Moon, Mistress Marla Spanks, and Pearl E Gates!

Plus, read below for pre-show classes and opportunities for performers. Before Wednesday's show, there will be a self-defense class with Impact Bay Area. And before Friday's show, there will be a workshop where Scotty the Blue Bunny will provide feedback on your act.

If you’ve recently found yourself dazzled by rhinestones, feathers, and skin, then you were probably watching Bunny Pistol. From slow and sensual glove removal to wild gyration, Bunny’s perfect combination of glamour and excitement will have you to the edge of your seat!
Fans flock to Bunny Pistol’s popular monthly show Barbary Coast Burlesque, established and running since 2006 and is currently at the world famous jazz venue Yoshi's, located in San Francisco's historical Fillmore district.
Bunny Pistol has been twirling tassels since 2006 and has continued to captivate audiences all over the US, England, Scotland, and France. She is a natural performer and has been studying dance since the age of 5. She was also a finalist for the Miss Viva Las Vegas Competition in 2008. She has performed in other major shows such as Viva Las Vegas, The Burlesque Hall of Fame, and Tease O' Rama.

From Mojo DeVille:
I originally hail from the bowels of New York City nightlife where I trained with Juilliard alumni, worked as principal dancer and choreographer for Blade Dance Ent., attended The Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory and assisted my mentor's work efforts with the American Ballroom Theater. My family's roots exposed me to various latin dances, breakin' and social dances from many eras. Through all these spheres I became creatively enabled and eventually began working with various private, corporate and non-profit organizations. I had the privilege of working for many years on MTV, PBS, independent and mainstream American, Canadian and Bollywood artists' live stage shows and tours, as well as choreographing for a number of events. I’ve also enjoyed teaching interdisciplinary movement courses whenever requested. I am forever a student still, and many times a teacher again.

AND!
Not only sweet, but full of spice, Sugar Lee launched her burlesque career in 2008 with Bustout Burlesque in New Orleans. Since then, she has moved to Bloomington, Indiana and performed with the Bloomington Burlesque Brigade, Angel Burlesque in Indianapolis, and as a special guest performer at the Jumpin Jupiter in St. Louis. She performed in the 2009 and 2011 New Orleans Burlesque Festivals, the 2011 Dallas Burlesque Festival, the 2011 Best of Midwest Burlesque Festival, and the 2011 Southern Fried Burlesque Festival. Sugar Lee incorporates her classical vocal and dance training into her unique routines.

Donny Vomit is our host and sideshow performer. He spent 6 years hosting the Coney Island Circus Sideshow. He has also worked at Ripely's Believe it or Not in Time Square and has been seen on countless burlesque and sideshow stages arcoss the country. . He is a master of many acts including, but not limited to Humand Blockhead, whip cracking, animal traps, chainsaw juggling, fire eating and more! He has his own "Human Blockhead" blend of beer supplied by the Shmaltz Brewing Company and runs the Annual Coney Island Beard and Moustache Competition which was recently featured in GQ magazine.

GO-GO AMY
go-go Amy is the founder and creator of The Pretty Things Peepshow. This vintage vixen is not only a burlesque bombshell and a sideshow seductress but she is also the driving force behind this vaudevillian adventure. With a brain for business and a body for trouble miss go-go manages, books, promotes and performs her heart out in this one of a kind show. Before her life revolved around the peepshow go-go Amy was a well know solo performer. Appearing on Warped Tour, Ozzfest ad at the West Coast Riot and Metal Town festivals in Sweden with The Brothers Grim Sideshow. She graced the stage a the Chicago and Vancouver international burlesque festivals. She guest stared with Fleur de Tease (New Orleans), Duane Park with The Brian Newman Trio (New York City), The Pink Door (Seattle), Miss Kitty's Parlour (LA, The Trocadero Theater (Philadelphia) and was the featured dancer in The Zephyr Song video for the red Hot Chili Peppers. ALLEY OOOPS (aka Ooops The Clown)

Alley Ooops (a.k.a. Ooops the Clown) is an expansive variety
entertainer. With a kaleidoscope of talents, she brings wit and
sincerity to the stage. Specializing in aerial, burlesque, and
acrobatic hula hooping, she wows crowds and tours nationally as well
as abroad. A Louisiana native, she calls New Orleans home. There she
shines in her many collaborative projects which include several of
New Orleans' favorites, such as: Fleur de Tease Burlesque Review, The
Mystic Ponies Aerial Troupe, Ratty Scurvics and the Black Market
Butchers, and as the artistic director for the Mimes of Terror. She
has performed in multiple New Orleans Fringe Festivals and Voodoo
Festivals. In addition to performing, Ooops relishes in creating her
own costuming, and she loves constructing glamorous headdresses. Keep
