Senko Advanced Components, Inc has conducted a third party GR-910 testing program on its SC APC Attenuator and LC UPC Attenuator to insure it’s highest quality and long term reliability.
The GR-910 testing was performed by Experior Laboratories. The test results show that the attenuators met all of the material, environmental (including tests up to 5,000 hours) and mechanical testing requirements.
The wavelength independent attenuator (wavelength range 1270 to 1650), and the high power resistance design allows customer to use the attenuator for all purpose.

Q-XP SC Field Installable Connector: The Q-XP is a pre-polished, pre-assembled connector compatible with the standard LC or SC onnector sthat uses index matching gel, instead of epoxy as an internal mechanical grip, gently but effectively holds the fiber in place and can be installed in under 2 minutes. Without polishing or adhesives the Q-XP Fit Plus makes on site installations quick and easy, diminishing the need for epoxy curing and hand polishing at the work site.

FTTH Inspection Probe: The FTTX FIBERVIEW ultra light analogue probe connects to the extremely rugged and compact 2.5” TFT hand-held monitor with a display magnification of x150 (x200 option available on request). The monitor has a menu driven, multifunction user interface and is capable of running two probes simultaneously, while also providing the user with full access to a SD memory card to facilitate capture of up to 23,000 images which can then be transferred to a PC or Laptop.

Marlborough, MA, August 24th, 2009. SENKO's new SC adapter one piece housing design prevents breaking of the adapter due to the absence of ultrasonic weld type construction. SENKO offers a broad range of SC adapters that incorporate a PPS hook which returns to the original position with full functionality after days in the partial-latched position. The hook performs well under high temperatures, maintaining plug retention strength.

Simplex, duplex and quad adapters are available in plastic, with or without flanges, and in horizontal and vertical mount styles. All come with a choice of zirconia split sleeves (diagonal or straight split options available), or with phosphor bronze straight split sleeves. Housing is available in a variety of colors. The SC simplex plastic adapter has an optional shutter.
