New Tunes Uploaded!

I'm just back in from another successful session at "A Side Studios" (formerly The Practice Pad), in Maryhill. Recorded three lovely tunes on Highland Pipes - "The Bays of Harris", "Leaving Lismore", and a jig "The Tailor's Wedding". I've now made home recordings of the same three tunes on the Smallpipes, and you can find all this music on the pipes page, ready to download. And it's my birthday today too! Happy birthday to me, I'm off to the pub now...

I'm just off the phone after booking my first recording studio session for 2009. It's tomorrow (5th May), and I hope to upload some of the new tunes to the 'pipes' page of this site by Wednesday afternoon. I'll keep you posted!

Wow lol it's finally looking pretty good, although the sound samples are still just rough drafts recorded using my Deger chanter. Going to be booking a studio in the next couple of weeks to record something with a bit more life to it! This blog is going to be filled with videos, photos and so on... I can even update it using my Blackberry! Fantastic...
