Okay, so the pharmaceuticals do this thing to all of their products. Well, really the FDA makes most things in cylindrical containers go through this process. They chop up whatever it is they’re selling and feed various amounts of this crap to rats / monkeys / kittens. Whenever the animal dies, they record that as the ‘toxic’ level, reduce it by 100% and call that the maximum dosage.

So, passing this on! These companies are stripping you of about 90% (10% to be safe) more medical treatment! All because some animal living in a cage died. Maybe they wanted to die, hell if I my sole existence was like some freakish scene out of the Rats of Nymm — I’d probably head for the nearest blender / pet store, and welcome the end of my existence.

But, to actually break this into economics we’ll just go to the stats. Switching to the maximum dosage means you’ll be consuming roughly 4x as much as you were, on the normal, pansy dosage. Meaning the $291 billion that medication/supplements currently rake in, would turn into a staggering $1.164 TRILLION!

That’s nearly both the bailouts folks.

This was a huge mistake. We can mine asbestos, we don’t need to go to crazy amounts of “science” to tell us that mining = profit. Some eggheads thought it would be a great idea to get rid of asbestos completely, destroying a whole industry of miners, harvesters, installers, etc. And replacing it with a chemical vat of pink goo. Sure there was a LOT of collateral damage because of the use of asbestos, like lung cancer. But really, didn’t that just motivate a generation of doctors to try to cure it? Soon enough we’ll be harvesting massive amounts of solar energy from the upper atmosphere using space-based panels, and we’ll be microwave-beaming that back down to earth. Trust me, you do not want your PDA or laptop on the fritz for the remainder of eternity.
