Last Saturday at the quarterly Stampin' Up! meeting here in Duarte, Tracey Nelson made this quick and cute card  for the quarterly meeting last Saturday. I liked it so much that just went on and made it up in some other colors, too.  Here is the Pumpkin Pie idea that Tracey designed.

You could really make this card in a number of different color combinations!

We'll be making this card in Stamp-a-Stack next Monday, March 15th.

Here is the card in Bermuda Bay.  The cake from the Happy Moments Sale-a-bration Free Set is stamped on a separate piece of white card stock.

The Bermuda Bay layer is raised up with dimensionals. I don't think you can see the Texture Plate from Stampin' Up! Backgrounds #1 on the white card stock. It is subtle, but in person, it adds nice texture.

You can see here where I got the idea for the base of this card from Becky Roberts. I loved her idea but I didn't have the same Sweet Pea DSP still available.  So I needed to change the colors and find a ribbon that would match etc.

We'll add a saying in the white space in the upper right.

We'll be making this March 15th in Stamp-a-Stack.  You can mail it to someone local on Tuesday and it will arrive in time for St. Patrick's Day on Wednesday, March 17th!

A little explanation about the 4-leaf clover.  I punched out 4 Old olive hearts and then adhered the 4 Sweet Pea Designer Paper hearts on top.

Here is how you can easily line up the hearts to form the clover.

Punch out a 1 3/8" circle and score it in half in each direction.

Add one of the clover leaves to each quarter.

After you add all four clover leaves, the shamrock will look like this from the back.

Now you can  move the Shamrock around to position it easily.  I added dimensionals after I inserted the Chocolate Chip brad and then placed it on the card front.

The Chocolate Chip card stock is 3 3/4" square.

Since I was into the card making with aluminum mode over the weekend,

I decided to cut out the Daisies Bigz Die flowers using the soda cans!

The only thing holding the flowers in place is the Pretty in Pink brad.  I'm not sure what aluminum adheres to?  I think that they will be fine.
