Pull thru sites were long and level and shaded by trees. The pool wasn't open while we were there and another camper told me it is only open during office hours, which were limited on Sunday. The biggest drawback for us was that there was not a breaker on our electric pedestal. It was easy to get to all of the downtown attractions we wanted to see. We ended up not taking the tram since parking downtown was free in the garage under the mall for the first 2 hours and after that it was a nominal fee. The sites are close but not uncomfortable. There is a small dog park with astroturf. There is a great walking path behind the campground - be sure and get the gate code and take a walk back there. We enjoyed walking back there with our dog. There was a really loud concert at the fairgrounds Saturday night and we were a bit worried but the volume was turned down a little bit after 10pm.

Wagonhammer RV Park & Campground 9/10 - North Fork, Idaho

This is a great campground in a remote location. The people that work at the campground are so friendly. There are gorgeous views in every direction. There is a cute little gift shop at the office. We had a creekside site right next to the pedestrian bridge over to the dog friendly island. The wifi was very slow but fine for loading maps and simple web sites. There is no ATT or Verizon cell or data at all. We were told you can sometimes pick up a bar of cell for Verizon but we never did. The sites are quiet because they are back off the highway a little. We couldn't get a full hookup site and it was an additional $10 to use the dump station. So we drove north on 93 for a few minutes and then turned left onto Salmon River Road. There is a free dump site just ahead on the right (45.410641, -114.011784).

Pickensville Campground COE 10/10 - Pickensville, Alabama

Another superb COE campground. We stayed one night on a waterfront site with full hookups, including sewer. This being the off-season, there were no reservations but plenty of premium campsites were there for the taking. Probably only a dozen of the 100 or so open sites had campers. The facilities are well-taken care of and the grounds were in good shape. Overall, you in the desert so there will be some things that might take some getting use to for some people. Dust & dirt. I grew up in West Texas so I knew that going in. That being said, I think they are doing the best with what they have to work with. Out of all the campgrounds I drove by, they seemed to have the most shade, and biggest sites. Some other places had concrete pads, but the sites were overall much smaller. The best bathroom/shower is the one attached to the back of the motel. The absolute best bathroom with the least traffic is in the laundry facilities. Showers were $2.00 for about 5 minutes and the water was hot. Felt good after a long day of hiking/exploring. They are attached to the motel, so there is a gameroom with pool table, TV and WiFi and some tables to sit at. Wifi was VERY spotty where I was at, but it might improve in other sites closer to the motel. Overall, it was a good stay and I'd have no problems going back again. ** About the area. With the exception of beer, everything is about 30% higher than what you're probably use to paying for food stuff at home. Closest Wal-Mart is over 100 miles away. Diesel was $3.30 a gal & $2.95 for unleaded. BBNP does have fuel available at a few of their visitors centers as well. Suprisingly, I had good cell phone reception in about 80% of the park. BBNP is over 880K acres, which is bigger than the state or Rhode Island, so I'm sure that was no small accomplishment.***

Coastal Georgia RV Resort 8/10 - Brunswick, Georgia

This is a lovely park in Brunswick, Ga.
