The tour will head across North America in 2026, hitting 24 cities and 58 shows from June 7th up through December 17th. They'll then take a month off before picking things up again in South America, where they'll play 9 shows across Argentina, Brazil and Chile, before heading over to Europe for the final slate of shows. They'll be hitting 4 dates in Germany on that leg, and German magazine Eclipsed are celebrating the occasion with a cover feature in their May edition. There's also a new cover feature and interview with Geddy Lee in the Dutch magazine De Bassist (thanks Rinus).

The interviews took place in late March at Toronto's Barberian's steakhouse following one of the band's rehearsal sessions nearby. The interview ended up in the Sunday print edition of The Times, including a full-page spread with a photo of the entire band, including Anika Nilles and Loren Gold. Rush is currently hunkered down in preparation for their Fifty Something tour which kicks off in just 4 short weeks from Sunday on June 7th in LA. The article states that they have 38 songs so far that they're rehearsing, but is one of them Fly By Night - a song they haven't performed since the '70s? Men's Journal posted an article earlier this week on how Geddy Lee doesn't think very highly of the track:

The YouTube channel Safe & Sound Texas Audio Excursion broke the news last month in this video following the conference after attending MOFI's panel with Jim Davis and Rob LoVerde. At one point in their presentation when discussing their plans for the near future, they showed a slide that simply said RUSH - 2026-2028, but did not elaborate, prompting the YouTuber to ask about it.

This brings the total number of South American dates to 9, and the total for the entire tour to an impressive 88 shows! Tickets go on sale this coming Wednesday, April 29th at 11AM Chile time. The tour itself kicks off in just over 6 weeks from now (!!!) on June 7th in LA. The band hit the PR circuit a few weeks ago following their JUNOs appearance to promote the tour, including a cover feature in the latest edition of PROG magazine. The cover includes a photo of Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee with their double-neck guitars, with a tagline reading, RUSH are back and they're loving every minute of it, along with the featured quote, "We're an overnight sensation, 50 years in the making". The feature includes a new interview with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson titled Making Memories, where the pair discuss the chain of events that led them to their decision to dust off their instruments and hit the road once again. Also included is an article titled The Curious Case Of Roger Kneebend!: Revisiting Grace Under Pressure which explores the making of the band's Grace Under Pressure album, one of the band's more challenging to record. He talks about how he first met Geddy at The Who Hits 50! Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concert back in 2014, and how that meeting led to him getting the gig. Gold is a big Bay Area sports fan, so much of the discussion was focused on that, with Gold bringing up how he and Geddy have bonded over their love of baseball, and Gold being impressed with Ged's extensive baseball knowledge; they plan to hit a few games while out on tour. He also talks a bit about how he'll be singing some background vocals as well as keys, and hopes everyone will accept he and Anika as part of the band:
