if you know me, you know i’m not the biggest fan of valentine’s day.

i don’t like forced affection. [boys, pay attention: it is much better to get flowers ANY OTHER DAY OF THE YEAR besides Feb 14th. (but really, flowers are nice.)]

this is the first year in… wow.. 5 years.. that i’ll be single on valentine’s day. and the picture above is really the only thing that makes me wish i had a valentine.

so what do singles do on valentine’s day anyway?

my mom just sent me a kick-ass care package which included:

- Lolita Lempicka perfume
- a sweater dress from Urban Outfitters (fits perfectly!!)
- Valentine’s candy (M&Ms, Reeses, FunDip and of course, conversation hearts)
- Cascade action packs (those little cubes of dishwasher detergent - the best!)

If you are in NYC, you should def check this out. It is going to be pretty ridiculous. Props to Red Bull for thinking of an fun, interesting branded partnership.

Stacy and I are going with our creative director, Mike and his friends from Burton. I really, really want to hug Shaun White and Travis Rice. Mike promises the after-party will include both of them : )
