The track is the first single off the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Contra‘.

The music video was directed by Garth Jennings.

‘Contra‘ is due out January 12.

The four-day bash will run from June 10-13 in Manchester, TN.

Tickets for the festival go on sale November 27.

Beastie Boys, Animal Collective, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs were among the bands that played this year’s bash.

Drummer Sam Fogarino recently revealed do to Paste Magazine that the band have finished recording the new album and will release it in early 2010 via Capitol Records.

Speaking about the forthcoming album Fogarino revealed the band had gone back to their roots and that the new album will sound similar to their debut album, ‘Turn On The Bright Lights‘.

“The new record falls back towards the first. In trying to move forward, there was an unspoken realization that you can’t let go of your sonic-defining tag,” said the drummer.

Fogarino even admitted that the bands last album, ‘Our Love To Admire‘, wasn’t the band’s best effort.

“[The album] was not our most cohesive moment … It was when reality kicked in as to where we were and where we were never going back to.”

Speaking to BBC 6music Helders revealed that the band have discussed recording the follow-up to ‘Humbug‘.

“We’re already talking about when we can record again, but I still enjoy being on tour as well,” said the drummer.

Arctic Monkeys

Helders did state that the band would take a short break before heading back to the studio to record a new album.

“It’s good to have time to work stuff out, then at least you can start doing the quality control before and actually record what you think is decent, rather than recording hundreds of songs to then find out you only like 10 of them.”

The Arctic Monkeys are set to play a handful of dates in the U.S. early next month.

The festival will run from June 11-13, 2010.

The festival, which is set to take place at Donington Park in Leicestershire, is now in its 30th year.

The line-up for next years event is still to be announced.

The former Beatle will be only the third person to receive the honer when he is presented with the ward at a special all-star tribute concert set for sometime in 2010.

In a press conference on Monday (November 16) Librarian of Congress James Billington announced the prize.

No exact date has been given for the tribute concert.

No release date has been given for the single but the band will be shooting the music video for the song in Australia in early December.

The band will also be performing the single at their forthcoming appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live set to air November 24.
