As some of you may have noticed, I have managed to not clear all of my stuff. I need to free up enough space for a brand new bed by the end of the year though. Therefore, I hereby declare the first round of RIUVA giveaway contests open!

<strike>If you’re from anywhere that’s not called Singapore, you might want to reconsider participating, since you’d have to foot the shipping bills for your prizes. In other words, this contest is only open to Singaporeans unless people living elsewhere are willing to pay for shipping. I understand that doesn’t make me anywhere as cool as Randall from Ikimashou.net (who shipped an entire box of DVDs to me free of charge), but I’m probably not anywhere as wealthy as him either.</strike>

Shipping is free for all participants anywhere in the world. Now I’m as cool as Randall.

As for the contest topic for the first round:
“What would Tripeman look like if he was human? Design is to be done with either the 3 penises omitted or replaced with something non-offensive, but still retain the identity of the flying mango.”

The last thing I want to see is an entry with 3 phallic nightmares. Other than that, there are NO RESTRICTIONS. You may send in more than one entry. You may pay professional artists to draw for you. You may do a 3D model. Anything goes.

As for the prizes this round: Dengekioh Shana trading figures

I don’t know how valuable these are, but some rich Indonesian guy once offered me $80 per figure for this set, to which I proudly exclaimed to him that my Shana figurines were my life. He clapped, my ego boosted, and a discovery 3 years late that I was a retard.

Entries are to be sent to knnbccb [at] gmail with the subject, “RIUVA Giveaway #1 Entry”. Images are to be at least A4 size at 300dpi. All participants, upon sending in the submission, by default agree that their entries submitted will be property of RIUVA, tjhan and me, and we will have rights to do whatever we want with them. The deadline is the Sunday two weeks from now, 15th November 2009, GMT+8 2359 hours.

If there are less than 5 QUALITY entries submitted by the deadline, the contest will be cancelled with no prizes awarded. “Quality” is subjected to either tjhan’s or my opinion.

Let the contest begin now.

By the way, Jon who bought my Shiki for $180, see that Razer Mamba in the background? That’s what your $180 went to. It glows with shiny shiny bling bling.

You notice the poll on the right? The most popular by far is "pictures of hot girls". I won’t do that, because it’ll make me a porn site not unlike Sankaku Complex (which is an awesome site nevertheless, but full of scum). However, I’ve scored an exclusive NO OTHER anime blog has, and that is, a close up and personal interview with famed amateur model/ Moe Moe Kyun maid cafe favourite Mika! We’ve previously featured out-of-costume exclusive pictures of this hottie and now we learn more about her personality.

Out of all costumes. This is her latest hairstyle. But I’m sure no guy will notice the hair initially.

We did this interview all the way back in September, but due to crippling amounts of school work, I’ve never really gotten around to posting it. I thought the effect’ll be better nearer the AFA’09 date anyway. But due to the oldness of it, some of Mika’s responses might be outdated. Anyway, you can check out her facebook profile and add her as a friend, it’ll boost your e-penis. You just need to know the correct keywords to search for, totally revealed in this post.

Note: This interview has been edited for fluency and length. Photos courtesy of Mika herself. I’m sure she didn’t take some of those, so if you find your photo up here, just drop a comment and I’ll credit accordingly.

TJ Han: So Mika, are you really a Mika?
Mika: Nope, it’s just a name we randomly picked after getting selected for the maid cafe. I go by the name Chloe, or Liting.

TJ Han: How old are you? I’m sure the millions of fans would want to know if you’re of legal age! Of course, some of them might prefer you to NOT be of it… damn lolicons.
Mika: 18!

TJ: Sounds like a lie to me. It probably is, but we’ll let the readers find out the truth for themselves. When is your birthday?
Mika: Jan 27.

TJ: Be sure to send her gifts. Any hobbies?
Mika: Shopping , eating, sleeping, jogging!

TJ: Holy shit, that’s like… quite the usual hobbies for a girl with no hobbies. I think you forget to mention clubbing and partying, looking at your numerous clubbing photos lol. Now, you’re essentially famous for 3 things – Moe Moe Kyun Maid Café, Amateur Model Photography and being a booth babe. How did you get into these?

Mika: Last November, a friend who was already a model recommended me to go for it too! So I read up about TFCD (note: this means free modelling in exchange for free photography) and built up a portfolio via good photographers. Unfortunately, a lot of perverted guys are pretending to be photographers these days, and most of the requests I get nowadays are all for nude, lingerie, bikini or gstring photos. So I haven’t really been doing much amateur modelling recently.

A couple of months back, my agent emailed me to tell me if I wanted to go for a casting, which was a full hour long! The crteria was that we had to be cheerful, pretty and must know how to act cute. So that was how I got into the maid cafe thingy!

TJ: Wow, that’s a lot to comment on. We all know the local photography forum, Clubsnap, has been overrun with horny guys who just want to take pervy shots of hot girls. Ah, so the AFA organisers actually put in lots of effort into selecting their maids. That’s nice to hear. But do you actually like anime, or watch it?
Mika: I like anime, but have no time for it. I like anime with pretty boys, you know, the romance kind. I love dramas more though, especially Taiwanese drama.

Mika here doing some modelling for a fashion boutique.

TJ: What do you think of geeks, nerds and otakus?
Mika: I can’t click with them! I read your article on how Nerds make the best boyfriends, but I still find nerds and geeks boring. But nothing wrong with otaku though, It’s normal to like stuff a lot right?

TJ: Hehe, I bet she just didn’t want to offend her otaku customers! Nobody likes otakus, come on! Not even otakus like otakus! How has “training” for the maid café been like? (note: this question is as of 27 Sep 09)
Mika: : We’ve had only one training session so far, but I was ill and couldn’t go for that. I heard from the other girls that training seems to be fun, they teach how to draw cute characters, speak simple Japanese etc.

TJ: Tell us some of the little behind the scenes secrets the maids have!
Mika Most have boyfriends. They look better in real life, compared to the photos.

TJ: Btw, Mika here is single. You guys can join the queue of 3000 and growing. Yeah, I’ve seen the photos of the maids out of costume and they look so much better. I guess maid costumes by nature are terribly unflattering compared to regular fashion. Who is your favorite maid and why?

Mika: Miyake! She’s pretty and cute! Small petite, shorter than me. She has lots of supporters.

Nice.

TJ: I see you have 3420 friends on facebook, and the list is growing by the minute. Do you seriously know that many people or are 90 percent of them horny stalker males?
Mika: Yeah, I find it hard to differentiate between people I actually have met, via my work or in school, and random strangers, and so I just accept all of them as friends. I just make sure not to leave any private stuff on facebook. I have trouble with my inbox because lots of people send me weird messages, talking about how they want to get to know me, some of them can be quite creepy. I didn’t convert my profile page to one that has a fan page because it’s quite pretentious, since I’m not a celebrity.

TJ: The funny thing is, I just saw one of my university classmates add you as a friend on facebook, and I questioned him about it and he totally knows you don’t know him. He just added you because of your hot profile picture and the fact that his friend knows you. I guess that’s a feeling us normal not-so-hot people will never understand, the pain of having too many people lust after you?? Anyway, what are the difficult parts of being a model/boothbabe/maid? People think it’s easy money, like maybe a few hundred an hour just to look pretty?

Mika: Looking pretty is actually pretty hard when you’re dead tired, annoyed or sweaty! We also have to stand on heels throughout the whole event and swat off touchy guys without causing trouble. We constantly have to think of ways to escape such guys. Some assignments especially those that involve alcohol are full of touchy or weird guys. There’s this guy, who takes his handphone camera and goes super close and keeps following, like 5 cm close! His eyes would be totally not looking at his camera, but busy ogling the girls. Could be one of the reasons I don’t like nerds, as many of these pervy guys are nerds who walk around alone. The touchy guys, especially Caucasians, put their hands around waist, sometimes butt or hip. And we still have to smile despite this.

She worked as a "mingler" for the recent formula 1 GP held here too. What’s a mingler, you ask? Someone who mingles of course.

TJ: I guess that’s one of the reasons they have to put up such high pay, if not no hot girl would want to do such a job. Besides, the pool of hot girls is rather low in the first place, so this natural "talent" is what employers look for. God isn’t fair, hehe. But yeah, nerds can be creepy, such as Kowtow man and Waterbottle Rapist. What do you think of your new found fame? Were you always such a popular girl?

Mika: My blog hits have increased to 1000 a day! When I go out, people recognize me, shout my name or just smile at me. After events, lots of them tag me on facebook on their photos they took and I’ll be shocked to find out that they are on my facebook friend list. When my schoolmates saw me in the newspaper for the maid cafe, they asked me lots of questions too!

Mika wondering why people know her.

TJ: You do post a lot of photos of yourself on your blog, so people flock to see it right? Have you ever encountered jealous girls who bitch about you, or do any nasty things? You know, people tell me that some of the photos you post on facebook and your blog are very slutty, though I don’t quite agree because these are standard portrait photos. But yeah, the more conservative people might have a different impression of you.
Mika: Last time there were lots of girls in school who bitched a lot, but not anymore nowadays. It’s because I’m friendly, and don’t have a bad attitude towards people. So after these girls talk to me, they realise I’m not like what they think I am at all, so it’s alright. BUT I have had a girl in school tell my best friend stuff she doesn’t like about me. Also, there was this guy who had a girlfriend, but asked me to be his “scandal” . As in, he likes his girlfriend but wants a fling. I was pretty disgusted by that. Oh and sometimes when out on the streets shopping or something, I can sense guys staring at me when they are with their girlfriend and their girlfriends won’t be happy.

Booth babe @ a games convention. You guys might have seen her around.

TJ: I’m sure that guy you mentioned had balls of steel lol. But the truly interesting thing is, who the hell uses the term "scandal" in that context? That’s just bad English, so I’m sure that guy is a loser. But he has a girlfriend so he’s less loser than otakus. Poor otakus. Anyway, I think it’s human nature to stare at hot girls, so girls please don’t get angry, it’s like breathing. As you said, you have a rather popular blog, which you update often. Why do not you allow comments on the posts?
Mika: I just don’t know how to do it!

TJ: Pity, because I bet there’ll be awesome hate comments. Do you feel great that people are interested in your life?
Mika: To be honest, yeah it feels nice. Sometimes, I update my status on facebook just to see how many people would respond, and what they would say. Stuff like, "I’m hungry" would get lots of people offering to buy food in exchange for meeting up, but I never accept their offers. It’s fun.

TJ: You so evil. Give us a rough number of how many guys have tried and failed to win you over. Why have they failed?
Mika: Too many to count, like when I login to MSN messenger, over 20 talk to me but I’ll only know like 2 of them, the rest are just random people trying to ask me out. I’ve had about two to three boyfriends in the past, but we broke up quickly because I couldn’t stand how they tried to restrict my life, and prevent me from having fun. I’m also finding that most guys my age are way too childish so I hang out with people about 3-6 years older now, both guys and girls. In the first place, it’s quite impossible to like strangers who straightaway try to date you. But I’m not intending to get into any relationship for now!

Not hard to imagine why girls get jealous.

TJ: Did I just hear the sound of a thousand hearts break? Yeah, if I were you, I’ll totally make guys grovel at my feet, buy me free food, drive me around, buy me fancy gifts and then still not date them. We want to maximise our benefits! But then again, I’m sure you’re not as evil as me so you won’t do that. Life is fair, if Jesus made me a super hot babe, I’ll probably do bad, bad things to this world with my beauty. OK, tell us the craziest thing you’ve done in your life!
Mika: I’m quite boring! Haven’t done crazy stuff at all. My craziest is was with my very best friend, we’ll walk around and see people with interesting clothes and ask to take photos with them. Oh, and take a long journey from woodlands to orchard just to eat wanton mee. I don’t smoke or take drugs so I’m not that crazy.

TJ: In other words you drink a lot. Haha. I’m pretty sure you’re lying though, those totally don’t sound like the craziest stuff you did. Are you sure?
Mika: Hmm, yeah ok when I started out modelling, I didn’t really dare to offend people so I agreed to do a few rather more revealing photoshoots, like lingerie and bikini ones. Don’t do them anymore though, those were reeeaaaally uncomfortable for me! I’ve also done a fashion shoot with this guy called Tungtung, which lasted for 8 hours!! 8 hours! But he was a professional, so it was good.

What appears to be a scary photoshoot.

TJ: OK I bet everyone’ll stop reading at this point and rush for their Googles, to find the pictures. Don’t bother, I’ve tried, nothing comes up. Sad. Haha. I guess the lucky photographers have it on their hard disks. How about the most embarrassing moment?
Mika: Nothing much.. ok I have a story from my secondary three days. I skipped school twice in a row, and then the next day I went to school, but was late and my teacher called my house to tell my mom and later showed her a forged letter that I made to cover for the absences. Haha! I was really scolded for that.

TJ: That’s not very embarrassing. I’m sure you’re lying again and probably lots more fun stuff remain in your heart. We need to play some truth or dare. Ok for our final question, what do you see yourself doing in a year, 5 years and 10 years’ time?
Mika: 1 year – still doing events and photoshoots maybe? 5 years, in university, doing some finance-related course? 10 years on, hopefully an investment banker!

TJ: I’m pretty sure she doesn’t know what an investment banker does and how tough the workload is. Nevertheless, good luck on your dreams! Actually, if you were born in Japan, you’ll probably make it big as an idol already. Too bad.

WHY HAVE YOU NOT BEEN POSTING!!! (ﾟДﾟ )

Hmm… it’s been a while since I posted. After my ITP(Industrial Training Programme), I pretty much went into a game orgy on the wii and played games like NO MORE HEROES, SD GUNDAM SCAD HAMMERS(It’s a game that can destroy your wrist if you play excessively), DEAD SPACE: EXTRACTION and of course ZERO: TSUKIHAMI NO KAMEN.

Anyhow, back to my rant. I’m surprised that the typical cheap scares and random battles has significantly decreased, even the ghosts seem so weak, especially the final boss. On the other hand, the plot is pretty good and the character designs are pretty. To tell the truth, it’s not very easy to understand the whole game if you don’t have decent understanding of Japanese and for my case, I had to flip a Japanese=>English dictionary quite a few times to understand the files and notes I picked up during the game but worth it if you want to understand better. By the way, there’s a translation coming out pretty soon so if you want to play it in English, here’s your chance to do so.

To tell you the truth, it doesn’t sound like a half bad idea.

Gk2gk

The website presents itself as an innovative way for geeks to meet their own kind. It comes complete with a profile search section and nifty little articles about geekdom, like the top ten reasons geeks make wonderful lovers. My first reaction was quiet intrigue. Then I realize that there seems to be a glaring problem with the sites premise. Which is that geeks don’t typically like other geeks romantically, they usually repine over and over for the non-geek of their dreams. So will the site be successful? Who knows, but I still think it’s not a bad idea. Maybe a bunch of non-geeks who are interested in geeks will join the sites community to bridge the gap between geekdom and the rest of the world. After all, I’ve long believed that there will be a time that when geekdom will be more and more culturally accepted, and it seems to be happening in droves.

So what do you guys think?

I am G-man!

Benizakura Arc Reloaded

According to sources (Anime news network), the movie will be an extension of the Benizakura arc that ended 121 episodes ago- I mean talk about lack of creativity. For those of you who don’t know, Benizakura Arc is about a rabid serial killer who goes around hacking would be passer-byers to test out a new custom fitted ultra cool demon samurai sword. Of course, in the typical Gintama fashion, the story eventually expands to issues ranging anywhere from responsibility for one’s actions to the purposes one dedicates their lives to (*sniff*-it’s amazing how Gintama can make you laugh and then reflect all in the same arc). Supposedly the arc ended with the defeat of the serial killer at the hands of Gin-san, but somehow the people at Gintama have dreamed up a creative way to extend the whole story and fit it for the big
screen.

Final thoughts

To be completely honest, as I Gintama fan, and emphasis on FAN, I’m a bit reluctant to fully embrace the concept of a Gintama movie. Maybe it’s because most anime movie adaption from anime series are usually a hurried mess that make me want to cringe and poke out my eyes. I can’t even begin to mention how many times of sat through one of these “films” just to end up utterly confused and bewildered. I mean what happen to the plot? And for pete’s sake do the people over there in the anime world even understand character consistency? Seriously, it’s to point that I began believing that the anime world is good for series, but not movies adapted from series. Sure there are some exceptions, but they are far and few between. Nevertheless, I’m pretty sure that regardless of what happens, the people over there at Gintama will create a movie that will at least be funny, amusing and down right entertaining. I mean that’s what has been the case for most of their 181 episodes. Why stop now? I am G-man!

Despite how people rant on about how sequels suck, we still love our favourite characters appearing yet again sometime in the storyworld future so we can see how they are getting along, how their kids are growing up etc. Which is why people are really happy about the sudden new release of a new Shaman King chapter 1, featuring the son of Asakura Yoh and Anna, Hana, all grown up into a pissy teenager. Oh and Hao’s the Jesus God Buddha Allah Zeus Xel Naga being watching over the world.

The chapter was published in what appears to be a one shot fan information book, so chapter 2 details are totally unknown. Despite that, it’s really interesting to see how characters have changed, who got married and had sex with who, and which kids got popped out. Jeanne the Iron Maiden has a son with Ren, Horo Horo’s still useless, Tamao has become super strong and Ren’s son can use both Shamash and Bason oversouls to smash things for fun.

Check out the link to read the chapter here. It’s pretty sad how a talented artist like Takei Hiroyuki ended up being a one hit wonder though, despite the fact that we like his one hit dearly.

That’s news for me because I thought the sequel for Kiddy Grade died along with GONZO. I was shocked to discover that Kiddy Girl was actually the sequel, when I watched the first episode on a whim yesterday. In the opening scene, I saw familiar faces the Tweedledee siblings and realised, yeah it’s a sequel. And then people died blah blah, 25 years pass, and the show turns into stupid moe shit.

The main character Ascour’s voice is the most annoying one since… noisy dinosaurs walked the land. She’s just so, so, so high pitched and whiny one of my eardrums bled. To make matters worse, she’s a huge bimbo with a shittier version of Kuroko (from Railgun) ’s power of teleportation. Her partner, Kufil ( or Q-feulle) is the typical brainier Miyuki from You’re Under Arrest type girl.

So far I’ve seen 2 episodes, and the animation was quite good actually, from Satelight, but the story line is basically Mai-otome in a scifi- setting with less girls. The 2nd episode was about the two girls breaking into their office to steal a pudding!!!! Yes, that is about as close to Kiddy Grade it’ll ever get. Breaking into highly secure compounds with special powers! Except for wildly different reasons. One for pudding, the other for justice.

I’m still watching it but it has totally confirmed our belief that Goto Keiji is pretty much good for only Gatekeepers.

We had a two day holiday in the middle of this week, because Waseda University (my host university) was celebrating it’s birthday of sorts. So what other way to celebrate other than to hit the train tracks and travel? While my friends (and half the people I know) traveled to Nikko to see the autumn leaves (紅葉　こうよう kouyou), I had a strong impulse to see the sea. (Besides, the autumn foliage will still be around Nikko when I make my one-man journey up next week.) Tokyo’s pretty much not a sea-side destination, so I traveled down to the Shonan (湘南) area, and paid a visit to Enoshima (江ノ島).

I’ve been pretty much stoked about my trip since I started researching for over a week and a half ago. I wanted to see sea-cliffs badly, and figured that the Izu Peninsula was a little too far and expensive for me to make a last minute trip out. Though, I’m still heading west in November. Enoshima was the next best choice, and perhaps even the best choice, due to the convenient location (about an hour and a half away from Tokyo) and abundance of cliffs and sea. Enoshima’s more known as a summer hot-spot but it’s still as beautiful — perhaps more beautiful, due to the decrease in number of tourists — in autumn.

For more background information, Enoshima’s a small island: about 4km across and it’s located in the Kanagawa prefecture. Because of it’s small size, you probably can finish touring most of the island within a day. I managed to, and I took it at a leisurely pace. There are a few ways to get into Enoshima, though the most economical way and the route I’d recommend, is buying an Enoshima-Kamakura free pass from the Odakyu Railway company for 1430 yen. It covers a round trip from Shinjuku (or some other departure stations), and all Odakyu and Enoden (that’s the old rickety but very personable train system) from Fujiawa to Kamakura. I hit up both Enoshima and nearby Inamuragasaki (稲村ケ崎) in the same day, so it was worth every cent.

At around 7:00am I left Takadanobaba Station for Katase-Enoshima Station (片瀬江ノ島) on the Odakyu Line. I had to change train-lines at Shinjuku, but it’s mostly a piece of cake if you plan ahead. There are only a few direct trains to Katase-Enoshima every day, with them mainly departing in the early morning, but you can take the Odakyu train to Fujisawa Station and switch to the Enoshima line. Wait, I know that sounds really complicated now. The Katase-Enoshima station’s the one nearest to Enoshima island, and it one of the most memorable stations I’ve ever seen? The kitschy Chinese-style front wth its really garish combination of red and green will stay forever burned into my mind.

From Katase-Enoshima station it’s around a 15-20minute walk to the island itself. There’s a causeway of sorts or,

a temperamental boat service you can take. The boat service takes you directly to the back of the island where the caves are, but due to the recent typhoon, the boat service and the caves were shut down.

Upon entering Enoshima, you’re greeted with a row of shops - totally touristy - that urge you to spend money the moment you step in. There are a bunch of eateries, including famous seafood restaurant Tobiccho, and souvenir shops. Half of which have a rather anal approach to in-store photographs.

I pretty much headed to most of the main tourist sites on Enoshima, most which can be covered within a day.

This is the Enoshima Observation tower, located in the Samuel Cocking Garden. There’s a 500yen (or was it 480yen?) entry fee for both places.

My lunch was incredibly fresh nama shirasu-don (生しらす丼), a rice bowl of raw white-fish and about five different kinds of seaweed.

After lunch, I trekked to the back of the island where it was heaven for me with sea-cliffs and crazy waves abound! I really love the ocean so if you have any recommended spots (in Japan, of course), let me know!

I spent about two to three hours here sitting by the sea and enjoying the sunset.

Has anyone been to Enoshima, or similar places before?

Please do hit up the original post for more photos!

I’ve also got two(1, 2) other new posts on my film-camera experiences in Japan.

BSS subbed this latest episode terribly, with lots of mistakes. Some of the lines didn’t make sense in their English, a good example being the sector 35 agent’s statement on how they can do stuff above the law, but the BSS people subbed it as "we’re trying to approve new laws" or something.

BSS subbed this latest episode terribly, with lots of mistakes. Some of the lines didn’t make sense in their English, a good example being the sector 35 agent’s statement on how they can do stuff above the law, but the BSS people subbed it as "we’re trying to approve new laws" or something.

I felt this episode was overall kinda weak. It was pretty damn obvious Hei was going to lose his powers, but he’s so badass he can win without any powers. It doesn’t make sense why Tanya can kill Nikka outright with lots of insect bites, while she doesn’t kill Hei and instead just has her little bugs buzz around him. I might be slow but I still don’t get what the factions are fighting and what for, especially the ninja girl’s team.

Suou’s power is horrible. First of all, the silly cutscene where she draws her rifle out of her pendant was totally out of place and unnecessary, more suitable for the likes of magical girl shows. Next, her power is fucking useless because it’s the power to miss badly with unlimited ammo, while using a cumbersome, outdated and single shot weapon. There are tonnes of better anti-materiel rifles out there, and she happens to use a WW2 model far outclassed by modern varieties. Remember Speed Grapher? The main character, Saiga, had the power to destroy anything he took a photo of. Now that should’ve been Suou’s power, and she would have to pay it back by eating rolls of film lol.

The opening song by Stereopony is pretty good, it’s the first one of their songs I’ve liked. Normally their songs are shit. I’m so glad to see Mao alive, didn’t know he had such a convenient aspect of his power, his is totally one of the better powers out there to use in the real world.

Pure wtfawesomegoodness here. See, Inazuma 11 is a soccer anime with a twist. Everyone has special moves! In the 1st season, the Inazuma 11 team won the Japan middle-school championships, defeating a team of Greek Gods. You read that right! GREEK GODS. WITH WINGS AND LIGHTNING BOLTS. IN MIDDLE SCHOOL.

That’ wasn’t the wtf part. Season 2 saw a rapid rise in power levels, because ALIENS invaded the planet and DESTROYED schools whose soccer teams lost to them. I mean, these are aliens with super powers, and they kick around explosive black hole balls that destroy buildings like nukes. After lots of episodes, the Inazuma team defeats a series of increasingly powerful Alien teams. Their original season 1 team is mostly gone now, having been replaced by more powerful characters recruited from various parts of Japan. Only the main character Goalkeeper Endou, voiced by Naruto himself, a fat defender, and Flaming striker Goenji were from the very first team.

So in the latest episode, 54, the match between Inazuma 11 and the Alien Blizzard team reached its climax. In order to score goals, one of the super moves of the Inazuma team involves the goalkeeper rushing out and doing some triple attack with two others, but obviously this leaves the goal wide open. The aliens exploit this but Endou rushes back and tries to punch the ball away with his JUSTICE IRON FIST, when he realised that he was outside his penalty area and thus will get red-carded (not that we’ve seen a single card shown in the series, even after spewing flames, kickin people and creating wormholes, I doubt there are rules).

What happened next was truly awesome. HE GREW A HAND FROM HIS HEAD TO PUNCH THE BALL AWAY!!! I mean, yeah it’s like an energy hand so it isn’t against the rules right? The FIFA rulebooks don’t say you can’t recruit the girls from Elfen Lied to play football with their invisible hands too.

Not the most blatant foul. There was an Alien who launched ball hadouken shots with his hands too. Sure, there wasn’t direct contact, but it’s still wtf.

This show is way too good and underrated, I’m the only person watching it every week and it’s my favourite kids’ show. Even though half the episode is stock animation of super moves.
