When I was younger I imagined myself as a doctor or something like that but as I got older I realized that was more or less unrealistic. I tried really hard to think of something I could do to stay in the medical field but not have to be in school for years and years so I decided to become a vet instead – I’d always loved animals and I knew that would give me more control over the next decade of my life. So I’m out on my own after years of working for a local practice and it feels great – I love being able to compete with my former boss and we’re still great friends. I’ve never been a vanilla kind of girl, not when it comes to anything in life, not even ice cream. Now my Grandma has made the best homemade ice cream ever, basically for as long as she’s been alive.
