One fast week of hard slog and awe inspiring scenery is over. Queenstown is a beautiful place. The time with my parents was special. The Routeburn track was a great experience, rain or not. But the flights home couldn’t end fast enough. A mist covered mountain as you round a bend is something to behold [...]

It was really like flying into Mordor, which is a rather sad geeky thing to say. But the barren desolate landscape seemed remarkably familiar, unsuprisingly. From the air it was majestic and beautiful. From the ground it was cold, wet and miserable. The plane hugs the mountains as it glides into the beautiful locale [...]

Wow how does time tick by so fast. I feel like there is no time to enjoy my beautiful boys. And now I am getting ready to jump on a plane to Queenstown and go bush. No power, no cell reception, hot water.. For TWO whole nights! I know, how will i survive.
I’ve heard the saying many times, but how true. You can’t be successful at something you don’t enjoy. While my passion is for illustration and design, probably the thing I enjoy most is providing someone with work that matches the vision they have. And I’ve have always put in more time than I allowed for. [...]

Men. Hopeless. And I is one…
Meanwhile Bin Laden is still hiding in a cave watching the drones flying around. And plotting and planning that one day, one day …God willing… ALL women will be kept inside, kept stupid and forever hidden away under burqas. I can see the cause now. I’m with you Mr President.
