I was asked by LOVEFiLM and Amazon to provide audio branding and interface sounds for their new platforms on Nintendo’s Wii and Wii U consoles. It was a project that harked back to the early days of internet sound, maximum sonic presence for a tiny filesize spend. You can see the splash animation below.

Another fun project with AllofUs. Crystal is Siemens’ centre for urban sustainability, recently opened on the waterside at Royal Victoria Docks. The scope of the sound work here was sound design (and a tiny bit of stealthy composition) across 7 different interactive installations. Below is a tiny taster but you’d best get down there to see the lot.

Made with Dare, this is a game promoting BMW’s 3 series. You get to draw your own track and race on it! The sound here was the whole sonic identity, from music theme to interface, it also furnished RTF with a library of engine recordings from BMW’s engineers. Score! Available on iOS and Android.

A lovely little project. Made with AllofUs, this is an interactive aviary, installed in the Roald Dahl Museum, with which kids can interact with little birds that deliver information about classic Dahl stories. The sound here is mainly ambience and foley to accompany the lovely animations of Dahl characters in the landscape.

The King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy was commissioned by the current King of Saudi Arabia to encourage, excite and inform the Saudi youth of today about the benefits and innovations of atomic and renewable energies. Working with AllofUs we created an experience for the central hall: 3 wave shaped tables, each measuring 7m in length, situated in a 27m long hall with 9 downward facing Kinect cameras & projectors that displayed generative content on the tables. Repeat To Fade created a generative sound space, built in Max/Msp, to compliment the visuals and react to user interaction.

Made with Chris O’Shea, Makego turns your iPhone / iPod Touch into a toy vehicle. It encourages fun, open ended collaborative play between parent and child. Combining creativity and imagination with the virtual world on screen. Select your vehicle within Makego, then interact with the drivers and their world through animations and sound.
