Hand From Above is a large scale installation on screens touring the UK. Chris O’Shea, the artist behind the piece asked me to come up with a set of sounds to highlight the interactions between the hand and the audience. More documentation on Chris’s site here and below is his video documentation.

An environment and a series of sound experiments made with Tonic for Fallon and Sony. Soundville aims to give insight into the nature of sound and how it is treated before you hear it. Simple demonstrations and a spacious, eclectic sound environment.

A large scale project with Jutojo in Berlin for Mac Mode. Involving point of sale displays across approximately 300 stores and outlets across Germany as well as an audio visual environment for the Mac Mode S/S 2010 catwalk show, my work was to create sound for three films showcasing the three main lines in the Mac Mode product range. Below is an example, taken from the Mac Women film.

At the request of the lovely Chris O’Shea, I designed the sound identity for the series of events he co-organises with Andreas Müller and Joel Gethin Lewis

As a way of generating enthusiasm for Music Technology and Sonic Art in schools, I have developed a set of tools using Max/Msp in order to let children get to grips with the technology using interfaces they will be familiar with and will find exciting. The tools include a hacked Xbox controller with the buttons and triggers mapped to new functions such as recording and playback modulation. A Theremin was also used to make a proximity controlled harp with the notes triggered by pitch change.
