Dominance Electricity takes the helm of Remote Control and brings you The Mighty Mix. A celebration of their latest release Dynamik Bass System’s The Mighty Machine, the 1h Dominance electro mix includes never before heard demos and songs by Dynamik Bass System, Mandroid and SBASSSHIP!

Dominance Records

Founded in 1996, Dominance Records started out releasing german hardcore/electro-hiphop (think early LL Cool J, T La Rock, Mantronix)
by artists like 808 Mafia, Hartkor Kinkxz, Ko Lute and some electro productions by Dagobert and Prime Dominance.

The label’s focus gradually shifted towards old-school flavored electro and in the year 2000 the sublabel Dominance Electricity was founded for electro releases only. Next to the label’s resident acts Sbassship and Dagobert there are releases by international electro-artists like Dynamik Bass System (Germany), Mandroid (UK), Decal (Irland), Imatran Voima (Finland), MAS 2008 (Germany), oldschool legends like Newcleus (USA) and the fresh new talents Gab.Gato (Italy), E-Control (Germany), Reeno (USA) and TwoLines (France).

Bio

Jacopo Carreras started his musical anti-career mission back when he was six. First note on a Piano, and then an avalanche of sounds. His first encounter with electronic music has been watching Captain Harlock, the anime from L. Matsumoto (listen to believe!!!). Since then he has produced, arranged, mixed and remixed numerous projects. From Kitchentools (his first band formed with Michele Bragaand Donato Dozzy, produced by Corrado Rizza) to his solo ongoing Eps like Sagredo, Olanto, or collaborations like the Punto project with 3tempo3 .

After a great adventure in Holland, which represents the beginning of his Computer Music Journey, he settled down in Berlin, where he was dragged happily and unconscious in the LAN muzic family, Home of Exercise One.

A foot in Political analysis, and the head into Sound world, he is now working like hell to complete his latest software. Describing sound in written words is like wanting to listen to a photo, but if there is one peculiarity of Jacopo’s way of doing music it his in the search for true interaction with Computer based music and the real instrumental world. The belief is that today we are living the most amazing and exciting times because of the super-opportunities of the digital revolution which took place some years ago. It is our duty and our pleasure to explore these paths, it is our luck that we can have access to this, so don’t give anything for granted.
