Where have we been? Ryan has been m.i.a due to working on his house, and I’ve been lost in cyberspace (embarrassingly enough) dedicating more posts to Facebook than here. However, I managed to snag Ryan away from Home Depot for a few hours one weekend to work on a photo project for the Belly Up music tavern.

Where have you been?!?!

These past couple of months I have been super busy, and have not had any time at all to post any updates on my photography adventures & projects. Other than the 40 hours a week I put in for the Company, I have been spending ALL my spare time renovating our home… installing hardwoord, removing ugly popcorn ceilings, re-painting walls & ceilings, bathroom remodeling, and kitchen remodeling…btw, final completion of these projects are still months from now =(….

Local rap artist Brookstyle did a show last Friday at Cane’s; opening up for the Don himself Joey Crack aka FaT JoE.

That’s Brookstyle in the middle. Check him out on MySpace sometime when you’re in the mood for a little Gangsta Rap in your life. Please, please, PLEASE get involved with the local music scene wherever you’re at. In a world where labels are looking for the next big thing via reality talent shows and youtube, we’re all that these independent artists got. On that note, LA Rapper Dom Kennedy’s latest mixtape “Best After Bobby” just hit the circuits not so long ago. Follow @DOPEITSDOM on Twitter to find out where you can download your copy.
