One of my goals when I started Racquet Network in 2004 was to concentrate the buying power of our members and allow all of us to share in deep discounts on racquets and accessories from brand name manufacturers.

Over time, as our network grows, and as our players learn to concentrate and coordinate their buying power, I am confident that we will be able to offer better and better prices to our members.

Most players prefer to imagine that they will be able to continue paying unsustainable prices forever. They would rather pay nothing and eventually see a facility closed forever than pay a fair price that ensures it will be able to keep its doors open for this generation and the next.

Doubles play is a great way to enter or re-enter racquet sports. You get the benefits of moderate exercise combined with the social benefits of meeting new players. Depending on your gender, weight and skill level, you can burn anywhere from 300 to 800 calories per hour playing doubles racquet sports.

Speed badminton (a.k.a. speedminton) is an outdoor game. Like all outdoor games, wind, sun and humidity all offer challenges that must be overcome. In most cases, the best serving strategy is the simplest: just get it in. Most opponents will make a predictable number of errors on the service return.

The most frequently asked question we get about our box leagues here at Racquet Network has to be this: What is "Play or Die"? The simplest way to answer this question is to point our that our Play or Die system is what makes our box leagues successful. By requiring participants to play their matches or face elimination, we keep our players engaged and our leagues active.

By developing a consistent follow through that carries your energy directly toward your target, you will increase the number of times that your opponent is forced to hit desperate, defensive shots. And when this happens, the number of mistakes coming from your opponent's racquet will begin to increase.
