A Brother with a Real Christ

2011-04-30T11:34:00.000+02:00

This brother was so useful to the Lord because He was able to respond with such a deep conviction; he presented me such an attractive and precious Christ out of his own spiritual knowledge, living, real, not bookish, and finally, he had experienced a full organic change which was evident to all, and quite a healthy testimony (Acts 1:8). He had certainly become a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17).

I beseech you

Paul’s begging on Ephesians 4:1 is not grounded on “one ministry among several”, philosophical considerations or his own opinion. His imploring is quite emphatic, straight and fervent; in obedience to what has been revealed to him.

Nothing to myself

I want nothing to myself; I want all to be for my Lord.

My Joy

In my illness, I have kept my joy.
Watchman Nee (Last letter from prison)

Just knowledge is nothing

2011-04-26T13:08:00.001+02:00

You may have light and truth, nevertheless knowledge itself will never give you any benefit.
Watchman Nee

We pray for you!

2011-04-26T12:54:00.001+02:00

May you be shielded. We pray for you. May you be kept in God's quiver!
Margaret Barber (Letter to Brother D.M.Panton)

Spiritual Depths

2011-04-25T20:40:00.003+02:00

We have to see that experiencing Christ deeply is vital. Only something coming out of the depths will reach the depths of others.
Watchman Nee (Enjoyment from Deep Calls unto Deep)

The Bible

2011-04-25T17:51:00.001+02:00

The Bible is the breath of God. It is not merely the word or the thought of God, but the very breath of God.
Witness Lee (Life-Study of Genesis. Message 1).
