Ubisoft is one of multiple companies to submit a bid for Dishonored team Arkane Studios, as Microsoft looks to offload the developer in the coming weeks.

That's according to Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, who claims that at least two other gaming firms have tried to acquire the developer. No deal has been agreed with Microsoft yet, and Xbox has also weighed up "selling the studio to its management".

The selection of limited-time Game Trials available to PS Plus Premium subscribers has been updated today with a PS5 banger: 007 First Light.

The new James Bond simulator from IO Interactive is available to play for 60 minutes on the top tier of the membership service, which begins from the start of the campaign. Rockstar Games has today shared more details on the launch of GTA 6, across both its digital and physical versions on PS5.

One of the classics that helped create an entire genre, stealth masterpiece Thief: The Dark Project is coming to PS5 in remastered form next month, from 3rd December 2026.

This new version of the 1998 game has been remastered using Nightdive Studios' KEX Engine to produce a new edition running at 4K and 120 frames-per-second. Final Fantasy Resonance has seemingly gone down really, really well with fans of the franchise — and so it's surprising to hear that Square Enix's leadership were apparently against the idea of the game.
