Both types of puzzles use letter substitutions to encrypt English text into what looks like gibberish. For example the word PARROT may look like XDHHME if X=P, D=A, H=R, etc. The cryptogram puzzles are sentences or short paragraphs that are encrypted with letter substitutions. The crypto-families puzzles are lists of related words that are encrypted with letter substitutions. Solve the letter substitution encryptions to solve the puzzles. Even though the puzzles are slightly different, we have grouped them together under Cryptograms on the top navigation bar. More will be added to ultimately include each of our theme sets for each puzzle type. We've added some cryptograms, which are short paragraphs with the letters substituted with different letters. Figure out the letter substitution encryption to solve the puzzle.
