here is an impression of my little comic I made for NEUFUNDLAND. Neufundland beauiful comic book presenting the work of 21 artists. It is limited on 1000 copies and available here: neufundland-mag.de. I made a two-page comic, the cover and also my TIER ad is printed in the book.

Last year Inger Gundersen from Teater Spillebrikkene in Norway contacted me to tell me that she saw our film "Der Kleine und das Biest" on TV and would love to turn it into a play. Last week I went to Oslo to see the premiere.

It is so flattering and pleasing to see how these group of artists manage to put our ideas with so much respect and love in another medium. The way they developed the characters and situations in this 50 min, three-person-play is just perfect! It is so funny, sad, powerful and warm. I would love to see it again. At the moment it is still quite small in Norway but I hope this group will go abroad, one day. Any support in this direction is very welcome.

2011 was a good year for me. Our film The Gruffalo's Child has its premiere on BBC 1 in about an hour. My first illustrated children book, Der Kleine und das Biest, is printed and it will be available in march 2012. I am a lucky and happy man. Thank you all for your support!

After The Gruffalo, Magic Light Pictures and Studio Soi produced a new half-hour christmas special, that is based on the book The Gruffalo's Child by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. I was lucky to work with a brilliant team on this film, that I co-directed togehter with Johannes Weiland. If you live in Britain, you can watch the film on BBC 1 on Christmas Day, 6:30pm.
