Director Adam Bhala Lough brings us “The Carter”, the Lil’ Wayne documentary we’ve all been waiting for. It comes as a good time I guess, as it reminds me of the media blitz T.I. put on shortly before he served his prison sentence. Here’s the synopsis:

An in-depth look at the artist Dwayne “LIL’ WAYNE” Carter Jr., proclaimed by many as the “greatest rapper alive.” With comprehensive and personal interviews with Lil’ Wayne, this film features insight from those that know him best. The world will finally get to know the history surrounding one of the most prolific artists of this generation. “The Carter” premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews and features an intimate and in-depth look into the public and private life of Lil Wayne – showcasing his most personal moments and giving audiences a peak at Wayne in a way that they have never seen him before.

Smaller, sleeker, smarter, the BR-S Ceramic watch is an “elegant interpretation of the professional BR 01 instrument. We’ll leave the numerical specs out, and talk aesthetics. It’s got precision movement, which is equates to amazing accuracy. The all black, luminescent dial is really a standout, and for this reason, it’s only going to be available in limited quantities in this “Phantom” series.

This belted coat comes from Kobayashi Setsumasa’s Mountain Research label. Selectism tells us it’s, “cut from melton wool and features two distinct leather strapping for closure placed high up on the chest. This closure allows for the wearer to get some leg room for a nice jog while skirting the law.” You can find it at arks.

Star Trak R&B artist Robin Thicke has been known to blend genres with his eclectic style and his latest track, Meiple (Me I Play) is nothing short of amazing. It features Jay-Z, with both artists proving their versatility once again. Jay’s been known to mix it up himself, just listen to the Blueprint 3, where he pulls out all the stops and brings us some beautiful music. Meiple is off of Thicke’s upcoming album, “Sex Play”, which is due to release December 15th.

We’ve never been big fans of money clips because they’re so… one dimensional, but the G Love is as usable as it stylish. The soft calf leather outter is fitted with leather bound nylon twill lining. Handmade, you say? We love such craftsman and this duffle bag from Rogues Gallery is one that we’re quite fond of. Selectism tells us the brown leather bag is made in Portland, ME and features a heavy gauge two way zip closure, and “bad ass nautical grade hardware.” It’s sure to be durable, and with a  $900 pricetag, we wouldn’t expect anything less.

That was pretty quick, I just got an email from Netflix saying my Instant Streaming Disc for PS3 should be arriving tomorrow! I’ve been encouraged to add movies and shows to my instant Queue. The email also had an ad for the PlayStation Store. Both Netflix and Sony see Netflix on PS3 as a non-competing service and we’d have to agree.
