I don’t have any idea what this means.

When I go to The Brass Tap, I ask myself “where did I go wrong?” … when I go to WingHouse, the only question is whether I’m going to have one more …

Guess what … it’s me.

That’s right … this is my dumping ground. I may post something insightful, I may post some stupid meme, I may post a random thought I had while driving to work. It may be positive and uplifting. There’s a better chance it will be dark and tormented. You never know what you’re going to get from me.

Here’s the deal: I have a lot to say and no place to say it; there are things I can’t post on Facebook, my Instagram is tailored to a specific audience and I don’t want to pollute it, and if I said some of these things to my wife’s face, I’d have to move out.

I enjoy writing, but I could be better at it and I don’t get nearly enough time to write between work and family obligations. I’m hoping that this website forces me to take time out of my schedule and write … really write … put the proverbial pen to paper (does anyone do that anymore?) and get my thoughts out into the world.

Sure, I could journal or keep a thought notebook like some new-age hippy, but writing something that nobody will ever see isn’t motivating. I’m going to bare my soul on this page; you are going to get a deep look into who I am and how my brain works (gods help you).

I’m a strange human being. I’m going to curse (a lot), I’m going to be brutally honest (always), and I’m going to wow you with my insights (occasionally).

While we’re on the subject of being honest, I don’t give a damn what you think. This is for me. If you like what you see, click the little heart under the post or share it with one of your friends.
